We. ordered here after our walk exercise and the 2 men ahead of us already waited in line for more than 15 mins and I expected the same thing.. NO STARS!!! I got out of work at 9:35pm on a Saturday, With my tips in my hand and it IS a Saturday. Even tho it was way too late for such a rich dinner, but I decided to treat my son and me to some KFC. Now, I live in San Mateo, to where our KFC was is now a parking lot. I usually drive to Redwood City for KFC, I mapped KFC and the Millbrae KFC was 1 mile closer and the will be closing in less than 15 min. So off my son and dog drove. Got to Millbrae, we had exactly 5 minutes but the store was dark. As if they are closed. I drove to& thru the drive thru. I looked in the window and I saw a female worker, walk by. I peeped in closer and saw the warmers were absolutely clean. Now, in my 20s, I worked at the Livermore, CA store and I know that all foods need to be in one side of the warmer until close, because if the store closes at 10, there just might be a customer that will come right before close time. Then the warmer gets cleaned. It seems the workers took authority & decided to close early then posted, probably thinking no one will show. I honked, she turned and waved her pointer up as if she is saying,"no!". I said we have 5 minutes. She just turned her back to me/ i said that I was going to call the manager. A franchise cannot close earlier than posted and if they are they must put up signage stating that they are closed. Next day I called and asked what is the name of your stores franchise owner? Never has enough food ready. Lobby and bathrooms are always filthy. Night manager always closes before 9pm and even barricades the drive thru when they clearly state 10pm. The franchise owner simply doesn't care. Nor does KFC corporate. Twice other customers had to open the door for me, only to by greated by the manager fumbling his words to explain how they "are really closed....yet.....open". While an employee goes to stand by the door to tell people to go to the (now barricaded) drive thru just to make them go away. Stay away....just stay away. read more

We went to the drive-thru to order bucket of fried chicken, it's been a while we had fried chicken and was so disappointed when we got home and found out they gave us grilled chicken. I understand they have different kinds of chicken, couldn't they ask us which kinds we want? We came here for fried chicken, not grilled chicken. I am so upset right now. Last time I Had to wait for 9 minutes for 30 hot wings. Got home and found that they gave me 26 wings. I know it's only four wings but it's a matter of principle. Next time I'll sit there and count every single wing before I leave. Today I'm here to get my daily dose of hot wings. They are on the share promotion. 12 for $10. When I approached the counter I ordered by 12 piece hot wings. Immediately the cashier tells me that he just dropped 40 wings for previous order so I'm going to have to wait 9 to 10 minutes. Then he asked me if I wanted to wait. First of all when you have a special and someone ordered 40 wings, you should drop 60 wings so that the next customer doesn't have to wait. I picked up my son late today from school about 9pm, and we went to this store. My son asked for cole slaw instead of wedges. He even talked with the girl name Chris to void the charges of $1.49...We out to the stop sign and found there was no ranch in it. Came back to ask for ranch... After we drove back home and my son went upstairs to eat. Seconds later he yelled "Dad, look this!" There are 7 to 8 old pieces of potato wedges in the box and there's no cole slaw! I drove back to store which is 2 blocks away. I talked with Jackie and Chris "I need a brand new order for this with COLE SLAW and a full refund!" Chris asked me why. I told her that she forget the cole slaw and waste my time and gas. Two of them just laughed I don't know why. Jackie refund $12.50 to my credit card and gave it to me. They got a new set (actually half of what I ordered) for me with cole slaw. Until then, I didn't hear any words from anyone there. I ask a young lady there about Jackie and Chris' name. And I asked Jackie "Am I deserve an apology?" She said "I just gave you a full refund, not only the part that you brought back!" (I think she wanted to say "So what?") I said "a sincere apology will worth much more than any money." While talking with me, Jackie was leaning on the wall and didn't even come to the front of me. She said "OK, I'm sorry." This should be called "lost and lost" situation! They returned my money but didn't make me satisfied and I wasted my time and gas! They need more training. I was just about to roll forward to the pick up window when the guy finally came on. The wife wanted the cup with the tenders and he said he was out of tenders...which is chicken...and it was middle of the day so um...how are you going to be out of tenders?!?! Then since I don't eat there often I asked what the sandwich was and he said it was a tenders sandwich...in which he had no tenders for..so 2 out of the 3 options they have they were out of...decided to go with the spicy chicken but had to get the bone in cuz what?.....no tenders haha. Food is good, no problem. It is for this store. I have told the manager no less than 3 times but the bathroom was disgusting in a two week period.
