What a pleasant surprise! The chicken was very good! The breading was good, and the flavoring was good. This was a taste of nostalgia, and it did not disappoint. Classic! The people there were very friendly, smiled, and greeted me when I picked up my order. The chicken has been getting pricey, but they do have deals in the app. Get the app! They had a deal for Super Bowl day. There is plenty of parking at this location, and you can get an A&W burger here while you're at it! read more

Greetings to all, l haven't been to this location in Months; let's see how today's experience went: The parking lot is shared with the other business in the same area. Inside this location was a modestly lit atmosphere, this works well for this establishment. The service was nice friendly, and they got my order correct. The food was to be expected, but for today's visit , the Fries fell a bit short. Overall for me, this location can be hit or miss., and can only get better in time. read more

Never again!! Order the 12 piece bucket and all they gave me were puny little wings and drumsticks about the size of 2 quarters each. So small it didn't even fill up half the bucket. The batter was also soggy and greasy. Now I remember why I hadn't been here in 2 years. I remember I had a bad experience and stayed away but thought I'd give them another try. Boy was I wrong to come here again. Should have stuck with Popeyes or Jollibee if you want good decent size pieces of chicken. This place is skimping on food and charging close to $60 for a 12 piece chicken meal. Next time you even think about coming here, just don't! Just don't! You've been warned! read more

The menu is structured so you literally can't have what you want, everything is grouped into some sort of pre-selected combo where you can only have specific items of their choosing in an effort to squeeze the customer base and maximize profit. The audacity of these people is disappointing, hopefully the CEO and most of the corporate executives will be fired when they inevitably fail but until then I won't be returning. It is also overpriced. read more

I love KFC ever since I was a kid. So in a pinch I will grab it when I am hungry. This time I was very hungry and it was down the street from where I was. Perfect. The drive through was quick. Got my 4 pieces of original thigh and leg. Yummy. Nice and quick and I ate it in the lot and off back home I went. Great , good and fast. read more

I'm not sure why the reviews are so harsh - I think this location is really solid. I'm definitely more familiar with the dinner crew than the morning team, but I feel that they make good food and do their best to keep up with orders. So I do only come here with coupons (haha), and I really like their chicken sandwiches. Granted I haven't tried Popeye's version nor Chick-fil-a's, but these do have that KFC crunch and familiar flavor which makes it a solid sammie. The chicken is a tad on the dry side, but a bit of ketchup (or BBQ sauce), and I don't really notice. So yeah, their chicken sandwiches are great. I still miss the KFC potato wedges like everyone does, but probably an issue with inflation :( Until then, it'll be chicken sandwiches for meee :) read more

I have a lot of questions for KFC especially with that stupid decision to remove the legendary Hot Wings and replace them with the crappier version of Wing Stop wings. However that's a gripe with KFC HQ so I won't fault this particular KFC. This KFC has a good location with plenty of seats and large parking space that's shared with OSH. The drive thru can be a hit and miss because I've had cases of messed up orders or lack of dipping sauces but those are probably true of any minimum wage places. Overall it's a KFC so you know what you get. I like that you can get a good deal if you check your mail and the original and extra crispy are still good. I just really wish they can get the old Hot Wings back because I used to order 3 20-piece combos every single week. read more

I don't recommend this place. They're rude and give you the wrong food. When you tell them they have the wrong food, they'll lie and tell you that's what you ordered when I know exactly what I ordered. I left being really disappointed read more

I have such fond memories of KFC from back when I was in my teens. Their menu has literally exploded so that we pull up on my quest for that elusive perfect fast food fried chicken sandwich, and boom--what do I see? A cheeseburger ad. We got their fried chicken sandwich. One bit and I spit it back out. Bone dry, no moistness, barely any condiments whatsoever, and not sure if there was an option for cheese, but we didn't get it. Just bland and barely any breading to speak of. The coleslaw was the hands down favorite here--it's tangy and consistently good. Inside clean and sterile, and service efficiently friendly. read more

I have not been to KFC in a while so I decided to give this oldie a try. Honestly it is a bit on the pricy side and I probably won't be back for another long while. I got an 8 price chicken bucket with 2 large sides and a large root beer float. I love the coleslaw so got it as a side and decided to try the Mac and cheese. Root beer float: 5/5 This made the trip worth it. I highly recommend getting this ! Biscuits: 4/5 fluffy but they did not give us any butter to use. Chicken: 3/5 Good flavor, but a bit on the soggy side . I know they are not known for crispy skin. Coleslaw: 5/5 My favorite and the recipe has not changed at all! Slightly sweet and tangy. Mac and cheese: 0/5 would not recommend you get this at all! The flavor was watered down and a bit chaulky. It barely had any type of cheese or creaminess to it! It looked so white that I thought it was mashed potatoes . Overall if you are craving fried chicken you can stop by. I would recommend this place for the coleslaw and root beer, but that is it . read more

It's KFC and when it comes down to it when you want quick service for fried chicken with its signature Original/Crispy Fried Chicken. This is the place to go within the Millbrae area. The location itself is pretty convenient bc it's half and AW but also it is one of the few drive thru KFC in the area. I can only say in my experience that service is indeed fast and never had to wait more than 5 minutes for my order. Workers are workers and it's a plus if you get great service but I've experienced good/fair service from this location. All in all the convenience and fast service is what stands out the most. read more

Ok so its certainly not a fancy restaurant and Im sure we all have had KFC l/A&W so Im not going to do a full write up.... But the Lady who helped us (sorry I didn't grab her name. I have seen her there before a while back) is super nice and helpful! Nothing is ever a problem. I want KFC like once a year and when I do, I think this one is far better than the Redwood city location. It has much more flavor. And its the customer service that gets me. But today I tried the cheese curds! They were outstanding! Clean, busy and quick for a bite! read more

I went through the drive-thru to catch an easy lunch. I was greeted warmly and clearly and easily placed my order. I pulled right up to the window and was greeted with the familiar voice from the menu board and a smile. A print payment and my food was quickly delivered. I had a Spicy Chicken Sandwich and fries. The sandwich was hot and crispy. The fries were hot and well seasoned. An above average restaurant compared to my other experiences. read more

DO NOT EAT THE CHICKEN. I eat here MAYBE once a year. Because the chicken here gives me the shits. Every. Single. Time. How is that even possible? Last night, after an 11 hour work day, I'm trying to figure out what I'm having for dinner, and this KFC is on my way home. I stopped and got a 3 piece meal, ended up eating two of the pieces, which were dripping in brown grease, then gave the third to my dog. I have had bubble gut all day. And when I got home after work, I had to clean up my dog's diarrhea all over the house. CHANGE THE GREASE YOU DIRTY MFers. read more

I had an unpleasant experience here today. I went in to eat with my husband and kids and immediately I noticed that the restaurant was extremely dirty. Filthy and sticky floors. Tabletops were no better, had crumbs and were sticky as well. The cashier was polite enough but the food was not good either. The chicken was not fresh tasting and had just been thrown on carelessly on the paper plates. It was also overly greasy, just dripping grease when we picked it up. The mashed potatoes were just blah. The tenders and French fries were edible. Our go-to for fried chicken is always Popeye's but we were in the area and hungry and hadn't been to a KFC in forever but we definitely won't be returning. Avoid this place!!! You'll have a much better experience eating at a Popeye's. read more

The chicken was typical fare but my gripe is with the help. I ordered some mashed potatoes with NO Gravy. My partner wasn't feeling well with some digestive issues and just wanted some potatoes. When one of the workers asked his fellow worker, "Who gets mashed potatoes with no gravy", I again said NO GRAVY and explained why. I guess I should have checked the order, because when I got it back to where we are staying, there was gravy on the potatoes! Angry doesn't begin to describe how I felt. So I ask, how stoned were these two guys? The biscuit had no butter, I had to ask for forks, no napkins, and my coleslaw was hot from being set in the bag on the hot chicken, mac & cheese, and the aforementioned potatoes (WITH THE DAMNED GRAVY)! And when I asked for a root beer float instead of a soda, confusion reigned supreme. No sober kid has this much trouble with a single, simple transaction. UPDATE: There was an order of potatoes without gravy. What there was not was my order of coleslaw. Because it was outside of the box, what I mistakenly thought was coleslaw turned out to be the potatoes without gravy. Again, the order wasn't right and I guess I thought this KFC was is skillfully staffed as the one in CAPITOLA, California. Never again at this location! read more

Ordered a chicken sandwich. I asked for it to be cut in half and was told they couldn't. (Ok whatever, not happy but it won't kill me to eat it whole). They apparently ran out of chicken and substituted my chicken sandwich with chicken strips. Smh !!! read more

Ordered from the app. Went to drive thru to pick it up. Asked twice if there were utensils in the bag, they said, we said "are you sure" she asked a co-worker something in Spanish then the other person said "in the bag". We park to eat. NO untensils!!! And my lemonade tasted funny. Carbonated, so I knew it wasnt right. We went back to the drive though and the gal argued that were utensils in the box. Then, come to find out she didnt know what "utensils" were. Really? We said forks? and she still didnt know. When I asked about the lemonade tasting funny she said the lemonade wasnt working. So, they ARBITRARILY SWITCHED my drink for something else without telling me!! Train your terrible employees to speak basic english or dont put them in the window or up front. NEVER switch drinks without saying anything! I wish I had been an inspector, they would not be in business. read more

I am going to keep this short and sweet. This is a a&w and a KFC all in one. I ordered 2piece leg and thigh meal with some potatoe wedges. It also came with a biscuit and a cookie and mashed potatoes with gravy. Chicken was small soggy and not very KFC original flavor tasting. It tasted like fryer greese. Wedges were burt extra crispy and crumbly. Biscuit was good. Cookie was blah. Staff was kind and friendly. 2 stars because it was just such a let down especially for KFC. I mean c'mon how can you mess up a recipe like this. Sorry no pics. read more

too pricey for overly greasy fast food. safeway or popeyes fried chicken better. ...........

I honestly cannot believe I went back here. After my last experience I swore I wouldn't but my husband really wanted Chicken for dinner and I just couldn't be bothered to cook so we came back about 5 weeks ago. I decided not to even bother getting the side order they owed us and my husband and I both went for a Doublicious meal. They had one meal ready so they gave us that and told we would be called when the other was ready. We decided to split the meal while we were waiting - my husband wanted the wedges and gave me the burger. It was the smallest piece of chicken ever - half the size of the bun and the cheese wasn't melted *sad face* but after removing half of the bun (gotta have good chicken to bun ratio) I tucked in. It tasted ok, the wedges on the other hand were so greasy and had next to no potato to them. We ended up waiting almost 15 minutes for my husbands meal! Seriously? For what is supposed to be FAST food. When it was ready though it looked soooo good - just like the picture - huge chunk of chicken, steaming hot, melty cheese.. damn I felt cheated!! Husband enjoyed it though and it was gone within minutes. So why still just 1 star? I got so sick is why. I won't go into details (it's a bit gross) but I had a few symptoms of food poisoning. I put it down to the fact I had the manky old burger that had probably been sat in the warmer half the day (which would be why it was ready when we got there). I gave them another chance and I get that in return, charming. I'm going to be a cold ass bitch in future, one chance and once chance only. Haha read more

Check your order before leaving, even if you're doing drive-through. I have ordered three piece combos several times from this restaurant and shame on me for not checking but I get home and I have two pieces of chicken. This is happened to me twice at this particular restaurant. Once is a mistake, twice is intentional. I will try to avoid this location if possible but I will no longer order on drive-through and go in and double check the meal before I leave because these people cannot be trusted. read more
