I came here to try the all-you-can-eat buffet, which offers most of the stuff you find in a regular KFC menu: regular fried as well as roasted chicken, and sides such as mashed potatoes, green beans, stuffing, and gravy. You have to go to the counter to get extra-crispy chicken, which is included in the buffet. I found the food to be just OK, not great. 20 pieces of hot air.- Can't review the food, never got it. Every week local companies send me coupons.I like to support Maricopa business people, so I stick them on the fridge. Hadn't had KFC in months, but I had guests and decided to play the 20 piece card. Went there and was told "We don't have a 20 piece". Me: "REALLY? A few weeks ago my wife got to of the chicken bowels halfway through the bowl and found hair. And I know the employee it matches. Long fake curly purple reddish hair. People if you choose to work in the food industry get rid of the long fake nails and hair and serve people fresh hot food. It is not that hard. This place is HORRIBLE!!! The worst at giving the wrong thing or leaving something out of the order. I admit they are always willing to make it right and they are very apologetic for the mix up but it's so inconvenient to drive home and than have to drive back just to get your meal corrected. Order was 15 minutes later than indicated. Didn't have enough original recipe pieces of chicken available to fill my ordered 8 pc bucket. Chicken was over cooked. No employees were wearing masks. One employee held my lidless bucket of chicken order under his face while talking to 2 other co-workers and then to me. They were not more than 2 feet apart with my open bucket of chicken pieces in the center. No COVID protocols were observed! Floors were dirty. Surfaces in cooking areas were not clean, food pieces around. Wasn't greeted by any employee when I arrived to pick up my order for 3 - 5 minutes. Only 1 employee was in the back kitchen area and no other. One employee came in from outside asked if I'd been helped. She didn't wash her hands prior to handling my food nor the buckets and lids. Another employee came in asked me if I'd been helped and he didn't wash his hands prior to picking up gloves and handling food and my buckets and lids of chicken. Another employee came in and spoke with all of them with my lidless bucket in the midst of them. Again - NO COVID PROTOCOLS WERE OBSERVED. This is the third time I've ordered from this location and it has never fulfilled my orders successfully. This is the first time I've ordered since the pandemic hit. I just attempted to order dinner through the drive thru and no one attempted to say hello or take my order. I had to say hello a few times before someone acknowledged that I was waiting. I ordered a 16 piece family meal and was told they did not have 16 pieces left, no Mac and cheese. No cole slaw, no biscuits. To top all that the chicken that was available were 12 drum sticks. Ladies and gentlemen it is 8:55pm and this location closes at 10pm. When I asked the man who was taking my more order how much would just the 12 drum sticks be. He replied 37 and some change. Smh... Well no one told us how bad this KFC location is so when we moved here we ran up to get 1 two piece dinner and a KFC bowl..our usual.. We were exhausted and hungry from our move so we got the order to go thru the drive thru. The guy told me they were all out of legs (at the dinner hour?) and asked if 2 thighs were OK. I said that would be great..I like the thighs. When it took a REALLY LONG time to get our order I told my husband "that probably means they are cooking a FRESH batch of chicken..at least it will be hot and fresh!" WRONG. We drove all the way home and opened our boxes. My husband's bowl was cold..and 1 of my 2 chicken thighs was unrecognizable. It was this tiny black dry shriveled up..petrified piece of "chicken". Couldn't believe my eyes..it had to be a bad joke..right? I was so tired but drove all the way back to KFC. The guy who took my order opened box..picked up the bad chicken shrugged and took it out and showed it to coworker. They went in the back and came back with another piece of subpar chicken thigh. They never said sorry to me..nor did they seem surprised by the chicken thigh looking so bad. Meanwhile the rest of my order had gotten ice cold. They should have replaced the entire meal. Who is running this place? You have a million bad reviews and the locals all know to avoid this place. There were 2 cars in front to order. Waited 10-12 minutes in line. Was told to drive to window. Got my order and drove away. Got home opened the box of Fillup. Was supposed to be a breast piece, slaw, biscuit and cookie in box. pulled chicken apart and thought it looked different than it should. Soon discovered it was a thigh piece. The breast sells for $1.19 more than the thigh portion. Tried calling got voice message at 6:30pm, waited for callback. No reply. totally disappointed in this type of business. Its been a minute since we have had KFC. And let me just start by saying, we love it. But this specific location was a hot mess. I will never go back to this location. (Maricopa, AZ). Went in through the drive thru, everything started fine, except for the kid yelling at me that he couldn't here me and I could tell he was already upset. (Jay) is his name. He took my payment and asked me to wait at the front. My receipt says order was placed @ 4:07. I waited patiently until 4:20 and started noticing other waiting customers that were in front of me that were also waiting go in to the restaurant. I followed in and they were just standing around. I saw a gentleman hanging out at the door (turns out this was the manager, Alec, if that's his real name) then I saw the kid that took my order doing pullups at the doors. They were not taking their job seriously and should not be allowed to work there. When I finally decided to get down and see what was taking so long, there was a young woman who had just shown up and actually started to push these employees to work. Everyone was literally just standing around. I won't be surprised if I get sick tonight. I finally got my food around 4:50 and they were still missing an order of nuggets and my drink. When I saw the kid walking out to my car, I followed him and he said oh since you are here, there you go and proceeded to hand me my order. I said can you please help me take to the car since I was told to wait out there, he said no that he was not going to walk back and forth when I was already in his face. He was very rude and yelled in front of other customers and they still didn't give me my drink. When I asked for the drink, the only young woman there working handed me a cup. I had ordered the starry drink and it was not working in the lobby, so I told her the drink I ordered was not available. She grabbed the cup from me and didn't even ask what I had ordered. When she handed it to me I tasted it and it was just carbon water. I decided I was not going to cause anymore issues there and asked her for the managers name, she rudely held her palms up and pointed to the gentleman that was originally hanging out outside the door. (He finally came out the back and started taking the orders from the customers who were waiting in line to order). She wouldn't give me his name until finally blurting out Alec. So who knows if that was even his real name. When I finally got home to feed my family, the mac and cheese was cold and the extra crispy "crunchy" chicken was so soggy and burnt. My kids asked why they burnt it. They did not eat. So long story, WE WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS LOCATION.
