The seating area has been "freshened up" since prior visit. Temperature was still somewhat oppressive with similar humidity inside. They were out of many items, said it would take 45 minutes to restock. We went with chicken sandwiches, instead. Cold and chewy, definitely not up to standards. I cooked an entrée at home then realized I don't have the sides I need to make my dinner complete. I decided to run to KFC for a large mashed potatoes w gravy and corn. The worst decision possible. Not sure how you can mess up corn but it was awful. Kernels looked old or over cooked and very unseasoned. The potatoes taste worst than the pouch potatoes from the store. Two chicken littles, one original and one spicy. Mountain Dew. Fries. Listen. I wasn't expecting these fries to be good because for some reason I expected potato wedges, which I hate. This is seriously the worst KFC. Actually this is the worst fast food restaurant in this location. They serve cold hard dry fries and chicken that have sat out for what tastes and FEELS like hours. Ordered online and the order was going to be ready in 5-15 minutes. We showed up in 10 minutes. We were told it would be 35 minutes for our order. I went out to the car to talk to my husband. He said, 'cancel the order'. I returned to the restaurant and all the doors were locked, it was 8:00 pm and still light out. I banged on the door and explained we were not waiting another 35 minutes and please cancel the order. They said call the 800 number. I will fight this. The food was overcooked and dry as if sitting for awhile. Also missing sauces from my order and it clearly shows on the 2 receipts on the bag that they were ordered. I was at this store a few weeks ago, and they shorted me food on my carry out order. Having long since forgotten about it I went back again tonight. Again, they shorted me a six piece chicken tenders. That is two visits in a row where they were completely unable to complete the basic task of giving you the food that you already paid for. Instead, they say they will just "write your name in a book" and give you your food (which you have already paid for) the next time you come in. Gee, thanks for giving me the things that are already rightfully mine if I drive all the way back again some other time (not that you actually gave me the food this time that you shorted me last time--I still don't have that). So much for the "book". I will never, ever, ever spend another dime at this location. If I behaved this way to my customers, I would be out of business. This KFC should be, too. read more

I just picked up a chicken sandwich through the drive through at kfc 101 weidman rd, Manchester mo! When I got home to eat, I opened up the bag and immediately it smelled like a dead animal literally! I have never seen or smelled anything so foul in my life! We were shocked to discover that you pay twice as much for a bucket of chicken if you order at the counter or drive thru rather than ordering online and doing a pickup off their to go shelf. 8 pc of just chicken, no sides, at the counter or drive thru menu is $20.99. Ordering online it's $10.00. Not sure what their concept is for this way of serving but except to rip people off who don't know. $20.99 is too expensive for 8 pc of chicken with no sides. It's only a couple of blocks from where I work, but I have not eaten that this location before. The place was completely renovated about a year or two ago. Today I was in a bit of a time crunch. I didn't have time for the typical sit down lunch but more time than a drive through. As I was driving down Manchester, I looked over at the KFC and thought why not. It was extremely clean and everyone I came into contact with was very polite and actually had a smile on their face. KFC is pretty much KFC. Another KFC that pleased me with their great customer service. I got a meal-deal and they let me replace the cole-slaw with a different side, which was nice. Also, when told there was a wait for the extra-crispy chicken breasts in my order I was offered a free soda to make-up for the wait, a nice gesture that reminded me of the great service at anther KFC I have reviewed in the past when traveling. I'm glad this one near me is great too! The seating area was cleaned well with nary a dirty table so I felt comfortable while I waited, as opposed to some fast-food locations that seem to have tables forever coated in grime. I do not go here a lot. But tonight, the cluck-bug bit me, and it was kinda late. I didn't even know if they'd be open. Hit the drive-through. Some female SFI with Connecticut plates was ahead of me. Acting like she was ordering a gourmet meal. A guy behind me got out of his car, and started yelling about movin' the line. Holy mackerel. I just told him to get back in his car . . . there's an SFI in front of us. She kept putting the vehicle in reverse, and I thought she was going to smack into me. The drive-through closes at 9:30 p.m. I got to the squawk-box at 9:30 p.m. Placed my order. They didn't have much . . . nothing wrong with that. I get it. I just said, "Give me what ya got." I got a lot for $9.31. At the last minute, I threw in a large Diet Pepsi, and I think she threw that in for me. Because she had to deal with the SFI in front of me. I got 10 pieces of chicken. They weren't big, and most of them were wings. But I got a good thigh (like I need more of that) and good customer service (for which I am always grateful). And the chicken tasted great, probably because I hadn't had either lunch or dinner. But it hit the spot. And we had a good laugh about the SFI in front of me. SFI -- I just made it up. I stopped by to grab a quick lunch to take back to the office after running a few errands on my lunch and decided to get the new 2 piece Boneless Combo, which is served with 2 pieced of Boneless Chicken, a side, 1 biscuit and a medium drink for $4.99, not a bad deal right? Wrong! The chicken was awful, it was chicken shaped together to "look" like the matching piece of chicken on a bone. I had a "wing" and a "breast" both of which seemed to be leftover pieces of chicken that wasn't served just shaped together. This is a pure marketing . My suggestion to KFC is stick with what you know, regular fried chicken and even sandwiches. The would had been better off giving me two pieced of chicken from one of their sandwiches instead of the disaster that was served. read more

So a plus is that the girl on the intercom was nice and helpful to me, and I know entered in the right information, however my pot pie item I ordered came with a cookie and drink and got neither item. I ordered at 3:00 and it wasn't that busy, but the inside is closed for COVID so I had to use the drive-through. Normally I say with fast food you get what you pay for but seeing as how I didn't get two of three items, I have to say I won't go back . This particular KFC is my absolute favorite. Not only is the food always great, but the staff is the best. If you ever get a chance to see Kim, she is the personality of KFC. Honestly, she is the only real reason I go. Her humor and understanding is what brings me back over and over. She is always so kind and caring. Honestly don't come here. The food is trash. Always cold. The best part of the food was the soda and even that was watered down. Mac and cheese was inedible, my dogs wouldn't even eat it.
