Ok hear me out on this review. First of all you always have a 20+ min wait at the drive thru. 2nd they give you what ever they want to give you, let me explain this major point for the 1 star, which is 1 star too many. I went here at 7:00 ordered two K8's which consist of: 5 chicken tenders , 2 sides, a biscuit, and a drink. I ordered ordered French fries and Mac and cheese for the sides and lemonade for the drink. Now for the fun part I received: 5 chicken tenders, a biscuit, a cookie, and coleslaw for one box. 2nd box: 5 chicken tenders, Mac and cheese and a biscuit. I don't know how to exact orders come out different. The Mac and cheese was approx a tablespoon worth. The biscuit was pretty much uneditable being that it was rock hard. The lemonade tasted like seltzer water with a pinch of lemon in it, totally unacceptable. My fault for not checking right away and giving them the benefit of the doubt. But upon arrival at home I was pretty upset. Now I don't blame the workers for their lack of training. I blame ownership and management 90%. If you go back in years for the reviews it's all the same issues and then some. I would not recommend this location to my enemies. The workers inside all had winter coats and winter hats on. The lights were extremely dim inside the dining area. Not sure if the indoor seating was closed due to COVID. I don't wish to hear from management like in other reviews. This review explains it all. I stopped on the way home for a dinner. I ordered an eight piece bucket which included two sides and ordered an additional side. When I got home I got the extra side but the the other two sides were not in the bag. Was not worth forty minutes to return. The chicken was soggy and not crisp. My lunch here was mixed. The place was bright and clean, the guy at the counter was helpful and friendly, my order came out quickly, and they had a deal going for what I wanted that day, so I saved a little too. Their cole slaw continues to be my favorite among fast food chains, always tasting fresh and not diluted with mayo or liquids. But for a meal at KFC, it should be about the chicken, and here that chicken was mediocre. The wing was the absolute smallest piece of chicken I have ever had - I've had nuggets and tenders larger. The only reason I was sure it was a wing was because the bone structure under the coating was correct. The breast had probably been moist at one point, but it was on its way to dry, and the coating seems to have been some new variety, "extra chewy." The occasional chicken at a place like this in the Saratoga area helps remind me that a meal here is the exception, while the rule remains Hattie's. read more

This place is the worst KFC in the country. Literally always out of something. The drive thru is agonizingly painful to endure. I have waited 15 minutes just to get to the ordering microphone to be met with a sign that says sorry we are out of chicken..... I call them before I leave the house now and ask if they have chicken. Funnily enough the person answering the phone is bemused by my query. For the first time in over 8 years after avoiding KFC for their previous downfall overall in taste and quality... I decided to try the new Chicken Sandwich and fries at this KFC. The fries are absolutely amazing now and the Chicken Sandwiches are amazing too (Regular and Spicey are both great). I give their new Sandwhiches a tie with Popeyes or runner up to Popeyes at the worst. They are they great and a must try. I will be coming back here on the regular from now on!! read more

I've been going here on and off for years, the last few have just been horrible. They always seem to be out of something. Tonight, we were told there was no chicken made, and we'd have to come back in 30 minutes (this was @ 8:30pm). So we waited,and when we came back (9:00 pm) we were told "We stop serving chicken @ 9... After informing them we were told to come back in 30 minutes, the order taker was a little snotty and said that since they have some they'd sell it to us. I have got to say, I usually very mindful of how hectic day food places can get, I see this as a failure of management, either in choosing quality soft leaders who are responsible for inventory, or proper resource allocation. HORRIBLY MANAGED STORE LITERALLY SPEND YOUR MONEY AT ANY OTHER KFC/TACO BELL EXCEPT THIS ONE. I typically never write reviews, especially not negative ones. but I have been contemplating leaving one for this taco bell/kfc hybrid store the last couple times I have visited. The first 2 times I was at this location, there were multiple people in line waiting over 30 minutes. As well as a few coming back in to complain their order was incorrect. While the lazy staff call their manager up and she proceeds to kick people out and close the lobby due to "short staff" but yet theres always 1 or 2 employees standing outside taking smoke breaks so clearly theyre not "short staffed" just poorly staffed with lazy idiots who slug around like theyre high on drugs. The last time I visited, the lobby was closed per usual and each car in the drive thru line was at the window for almost 10 minutes waiting on their orders. Tell me, how does a restaurant that has the word CHICKEN in it's title, run out of original recipe breast pieces? We were told we could substitute grilled or extra crispy or wait another 15 minutes for regular recipe (this after having already waited 10 minutes). This has happened to us twice but it won't happen a third time because we won't be going here again. The restaurant is also filthy. As we were standing at the counter I looked between the registers and there was a layer of dust and other filth. I mentioned to the young girls who were wiping down trays that they might want to clean between the registers. They nodded their heads and when my back was turned my husband saw them roll their eyes. The area that had containers with packets of ketchup, salt, etc. had a layer of dust on them, which meant they hadn't been wiped down in quite awhile. One of the doors had no inside push bar and was locked - which is against fire code, and there were bags of garbage piled up around the dumpster, against health code. The last time we went to this location we had horrible service, I complained to their corporate office and actually spoke with the district manager. He assured me he would keep on top of the restaurant and sent me a $5 coupon (big whoop). Either he was blowing smoke or the manager of the store didn't listen to his boss. read more

First time through this drive thru. Mom got the $5 KFC box lunch and I got the Taco Bell chicken power bowl (I'm gluten sensitive). The bowl was excellent - presentation, quantity of each item, it was warm and delicious! Mom said her chicken and mashed were also delish. Service through the drive thru was fast and friendly. KFC just hit a new LOW this evening. We asked for at least one chicken breast and got 2 chicken thighs. The coleslaw was very dry and had the taste of several other foods from their refrigerator. The baked beans also were baked out, the beans stuck together. The biscuits tasted alright but were half the normal size. What gives?! We were not happy with our purchase. Terrible service. My family and I were served the worst KFC I personally have ever had. When I decided to go back into the establishment in order to express my dissatisfaction-- something I never do-- I was immediately dismissed as if my problem wasn't valid. The way the manager dealt with me was extremely abhorrent, and I sincerely believe she should be removed. We drove 26 minutes to this location because the one by my house in Schenectady already had its reputation. I was sadly disappointed that this one was bad...if not worse than our closer option. We ordered and went to find a table....good luck finding a clean one. Literally every one was dirty.....we had to wipe tomatoes and mashed potatoes off our table. Flies everywhere. And the floor was littered with food and napkins (probably due to everyone having to clear their own table). Ugh.... we very rarely have the KFC craving but trust me, we will not be going back to this location. I ordered the #5 and the skin was soggy and the chicken inside was even worse. This store is both a KFC and a Taco Bell. Let me just start by saying I think this store would benefit from only selling Taco Bell. Their KFC isn't very good. The chicken was burnt and a bit rubbery. But the Taco Bell they serve is what you'd expect from a typical Taco Bell. Nothing special but still good. I think the location of the restaurant is also in a weird spot and the outside makes it an eye sore. I've been inside the store many times and most of the time it's really dirty and gross. The staff needs to do a better job at cleaning their lobby. Some of the staff is really friendly while one of the I believe to be managers is extremely rude when I asked them if they had seen an item I thought I had left there and it wasn't busy either so it didn't seem like what I was asking for was a bother or too much to ask. Overall I will still go here but I more often go for this stores Taco Bell over their KFC read more

I drove, up from Clifton park to get dinners for my wife and I. I ordered a 2 piece with 2 breast and potato wedges for my wife and a 3 piece with white meat and Mac and cheese for myself. Imagine my surprise when I got home and found out that my order turned out to be 1 small breast that looked overcooked and a really small wing. We hoped to get original recipe but got extra crispy instead and my mother can't chew the hard skin. Only gave us wings, legs, and one Breast in the bucket. 3 stars becuase who doesn't like them some KFC chicken? The service here on the other hand is a JOKE! One thing that bothers me is if KFC is going to put out coupons for their customers to use then the staff needs to know how to ring the order in with the coupon, and this wasn't the first time I have experienced this at this location. I stopped to quickly grab lunch at 2:00 p.m., on a Friday. I was going to go to the 'drive through' but that line wrapped around the building, so I went inside. The line there was long too, but went fairly quickly. My order was simple - one $5 "Fill-Up" of chicken tenders, mashed potatoes & gravy, with a biscuit. My order had no substitutions, and I ordered it "to go." I should have checked the bag before leaving the building, because when I got to my car and checked, there were no utensils or napkins. Since I ordered it "to go," I thought they would have been included. I'm just glad I didn't drive away before I discovered this. On to the food -- the coating on the tenders was a bit mushy instead of slightly crunchy, and the potatoes had too much liquid in them which made them watery with no taste. My advice is ... if you want KFC, bypass this location and go to the Route 50 in Saratoga Springs KFC. read more

Went to the malta ny location to grab a quick meal and what what we got was nothing that we ordered. We ordered 2 4 pc chicken tender meal and when we got home there were 2 4 pc bone in original combos. We ordered a water for one of the beverages and got seltzer water not plain water, there were no napkins or utensils in the bag which makes it hard to eat mash potatoes without utensils and they always should put napkins in your bag thru the drive thru! We also asked for bbq sauce and they didn't have any because the shipment didn't arrive. Huge disappointment! read more

I'm not sure why this Taco Bell/KFC can never get the orders straight or give you the needed utensils. I try to avoid this location as much as possible. Sometimes I end up stopping hoping for better service than the last. They have forgotten sandwiches, tacos, sauces and today a fork so I can eat the macaroni and cheese. I had to ask twice for the honey mustard that they forgot to put in the bag. After I pulled away and got back to my shop, I realized I didn't have a fork - and no forks here. I ended up using the stupid lid from the container. Another time I asked for their new Asian Zing sauce and the staff heckled me because they thought I wanted "An Asian Thing", making jokes about "Here is the guy that wanted an "Asian Thing". I felt very uncomfortable and avoided going there for a few months. Never again! read more
