First of all, I love all seafood & I loved Long John Silver. For the past 2 years, I always use online coupons & they have no problem taking them before. I know it's only a couple of dollars, it adds up when I go there often. Well, today they tell me that they don't take this coupon because they are not full service of Long John Silver. I don't normally post a review unless the experience was bad or exceptionally good. Hence, the review. Worst drive thru I've been in. I wish there was 0 but the least I could give is 1. It was past 9pm last Friday, we were at the mic (ordering area of drive thru) waiting for about 6minutes in the car before somebody FINALLY said something. And I understand they may be busy with something, but they could have at least let us know about the wait. Not even a "hello, please wait" or something. After placing the order, we proceeded to the next window. Surprised that the car before me is still there since that was quite a while before we placed the order. (Can only imagine how long she waited) there, it was another loooong wait! Then when finally it was our turn, the lady cashier closed the window on me. And there she was, laughing with her co-workers. Made us wait again. She forgot what soda I ordered so she had to ask again, then closed the window again. When you order something as simple as a two drumsticks with mashed potatoes no gravy sorry but I think it's pretty simple to get the order right! Apparently not at this location got all the way back to my hotel before I was able to open my meal just to realize that regardless of what I told the lady regardless of the fact that at the window she repeated my order perfectly they still screwed up something as simple as to freaking drum sticks and mashed potatoes no gravy! I have never had this issue with any other KFC in my life! So not a happy cust guess next time and I advise you do the same just go to Popeyes better food better service read more

So I was there yesterday around 4:30 p.m. eating with my grandson. Decided to purchase a 2 meals for two people that I thought were hungry, we waited for the cashier to come a heavy set blond american girl, right of the top she looked at them and rudely yes can i help you, i said yes they would like two of your 5 dollar meals, I asked if one of them can have something else instead of mash, she said again rude No that's they way they come , but when I ordered for myself I was able to get cole slaw? My issues are about their so-called sales receipt problems. First of all, a company as large as KFC should be ashamed of themselves having their employees tell customers they cannot print out a receipt because their machines do not work. Well, this is a bunch of baloney, because their machines have not worked for over 5 months. On Sunday, I went into this store and ordered the two piece meal. Jessica was the rep, and I asked for green beans, instead of potatoes. Instead of her just substituting the green beans, she tried to charge me separately for each item. Also, I do not eat chocolate, so instead of the cookie, I asked for another biscuit. She stated she could not do that, and acted as if I had broken the law. First of all, the biscuits are okay, nothing to write home about. My biscuits would put these biscuits to shame, so keep this in the right perspective. When I challenged the price, she changed it back to what it should have been. Shame on her for even trying something so stupid. Next, I asked for a receipt, and she said she could not print one, and walked off. Again, I showed my annoyance, and told her if she could not give me a receipt, I would take a refund, as I was not going to make a purchase without a receipt. A manager came over, so I guess, named Michelle. She had no smile on her face, and acted as if she did not want to be bothered. She stated she did not have a way to print a receipt. I again stated a receipt, or refund. She then stated she could not give a refund. It was not until I told her I would take the store to small claims court that she finally heard me when I told her to write the receipt on a piece of paper. She did just that. The fact that when you make a purchase, you should be given a receipt when you ask for one. It is shady to me that I went to two different stores, in two different cities and they both said the same thing. They also stated that they only accept cash- no cards, and they cannot print a receipt. If any one knows anything about taxes, or business, this is quite fishy, and sounds like anyone, including the employees could pocket the money, and not report it as business, or to the IRS. This is the worst business I have ever seen, and if KFC thinks this is not going to be reported, guess again. Shame on KFC Corporate, for cheating its customers, and possibly committing fraud. Think about it, if a company does not want to give you a receipt, only accepts cash, and will not issue a refund -WHAT DOES THAT SAY ABOUT THIS COMPANY???? Do not trust this store, and do not play part in their revenue, when they could be stealing the money. I blame the Owner, and KFC Corporate. They know exactly what they are doing, and now they are EXPOSED!! I will never go to another KFC! I do not have to have this chicken, especially since they do not operate their businesses with integrity!! read more

Never again. I forgot how bad this location was. I pulled up at a quiet time of day. The drive through was empty and from what I could see the restaurant was quiet as well. Simple order. A box meal extra crispy. Pulled up to a attitude that I have no idea where it came from but certainly not me. Got my meal asked for butter and had it almost tossed to me. I was in a hurry to get where I was going. I open the bag. Missing one piece of a three piece meal, no napkins and it was far from extra crispy. The skin was soggy. I pulled it off and ate around it and now I've been throwing up for a half hour. I seriously think it sat in rancid oil or something. read more

This location is one of those dual-purpose combo restaurants where a KFC and a Long John Silver's are located together in the same store. I had driven by the place a few times as we are currently on contract in the AV and I saw the signs advertising for Cod baskets. Being really in the mood for some good fish I decided to stop and try this offering. It could not have been any worse. The fish itself was fine, but instead of serving it fresh, my cod had been sitting under a heat lamp for what must have been forever. The batter was completely sodden through with grease with not one bit of crispness left to it. It was almost spongey and pulled away from the fish in unctious shreds. What is worse, the entire plate had this old-grease funk smell to it that was revolting. The potato wedges and fish emanated an odor rather like an old bacon grease can. It's too bad, because the fish inside would have been great if it had been cooked in clean oil and served fresh rather than left under a heat-lamp longer than a Goldie Hawn tanning session. If you order fish there, go inside and watch them to make sure they are cooking your fish fresh and not pulling it off a warming tray. Perhaps that way you will get an edible meal. I'd love to give this place negative stars if possible. The food is never fresh, the service is rude at best, and even though this very location is the one where I got the information about signing up for text message ads and coupons, they NEVER honor the texted coupons and special offers!! They use a cop-out, because the texted offers say "At participating locations", so they always say they're not one of the participating locations. Long John Silver's used to be a really awesome place to eat...back when they battered and fried your food right there in front of you. Ever since they teamed up with KFC, everything went to hell in a handbasket. Stay away from this place. If you want truly great fried chicken or fish and chips, go up the street about 1/4 mile to Farmer Boys in the Winco parking lot.
