I came in for a craving of KFC chicken and left with nothing. I pulled into the drive through around 7pm and sat there for 10 min with no movement. I left the drive through as the line was long enough it was blocking traffic if they wanted to enter off of 10th st west. I went inside "still craving KFC" and stood there for another 5 min and watched as two people left and watched one customer ask if they had been helped and they responded no one had come to the register as they were doing something in the back. They finally returned and took one order that went somewhat ok. The next person who came up had a large order and that is fine, but someone kept walking up to the front staring at the gal runing the register and then walk back to the cooking area to only return 10 seconds later as the line inside got longer as well as the drive through. After a total of 10 min inside I gave up and left and went to the Habit across the street. I was in and out of the drive through while the customer that was ahead of me when I left was still waiting for their food. Several factors made me leave this place with no hopes of ever returning and after reading a few reviews before posting this reassures me I made the right choice. The place is understaffed, one person running a register, the staff in generally appears to be working extremely slow. The Soda Machine that was reported to not be working back on 3/2/2019 is still not working and the were out of several sodas. It also appears the Chicken Sandwich craze is still going on strong as they were out of two of the sandwiches. Not what I was after but they have had time to bring in more inventory. It appears the Franchisee owner does not care about this store or is making just enough money to keep the doors open and his pocket book fat. I will not return to this KFC or any in the Antelope Valley as they all have terrible reviews. I am not sure if it is the ownership, terrible employees dragging the stores down or all the above but KFC licenses this name out and should see how their reputation is doing out here. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. This location is trash, and it's all because of the employees. Like literally they can fuck up a box that's has only 4 items in it. Every time I order from there they fuck it up, doordash, drive thru and even going inside.the employees are eating the food, horsing around in the back, I literally sat and watched a female employee serve food to her boyfriend and he didn't pay. This is the first time I have eaten here since they revamped the place and I was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant looks much, much better. Wait time for food was longer than usual but it was the freshest food I have ever had from here. I am hoping it is because they are cooking from fresh and not that they were fairly busy. I wish I could get a half star or negative ones. I went thru the drive through today. I had, in my car, a 4 year old and a puppy. I asked for the 12 piece of fish with three family sides and a $10 of popcorn chicken, a medium soda and a cup of water. Once I got my drink, (was distracted by grandson) I drove off. So I waited. 15 minutes later I poked my head back in to see and gave her a WTF look with my face. Then ran back to car. 5 minutes later the customer comes out saying, "Sorry, I don't know what happened, she said they'd take care of it. " Shortly thereafter she walked up to me with a pad of paper and *ASKED FOR MY ORDER AGAIN*!!!!!!!?!! I told her, I was the 12 piece with mac n cheese, Cole slaw and a $10 popcorn chicken. I was flabbergasted that she had to ask for my order again. Then, she brought it outside, about 10 minutes later. She said, "Be sure and check the order..." well it was CHICKEN NOT FISH!!! i think the main reason KFC is going into shit-show down-hill is not that their food recipe is bad or overly priced or can't keep up with healthy trend and young folks - it's folks behind in the kitchen who doesn't give a rats ass about the food they serve to their customers. and most KFC's i've been to are this way. 9 out of 10, cashiers, cooks, and drive thru crews don't give a fuck about you, your order, or anything else that happens between your order and food, and they make it very obvious and apparent from their attitude, quality of food, and condition of their restaurants. that being said, this particular location has been pretty consistent, and not adhere to the stereotypical KFC i've been alluding to. what i am saying is, this KFC taste like KFC it is supposed to taste like, delicious fried chicken with not overly salted, cooked right, served hot or warm, and oil doesn't taste old. that being said, i've had occasions where my orders were totally ignored and got other crap, so if you are craving some fried chicken, visit this KFC location but make sure you check your bag that you got your order right! read more

This is the worst location ever. I ordered through the drive-thru. There were a couple of red flags that I should've adhered to from the beginning. The employee taking my order informed me that the only beverages they had were iced tea and fruit punch. Ok I went for the fruit punch. When arriving at the window, I paid. She handed me the drinks. I noticed no ice. She said oh yeah, the ice machine is broken. Well I wasn't happy about that because that was the whole idea. I wanted ice. She was rude by saying I could add ice when I get home. Ok that response upset me so I told her I didn't want the drinks. I was refunded for that. When I got home, I realized my entire order was wrong. It was my fault for not checking it throughly before reaching home. The chicken they gave me was greasy and looked gross. I don't live close to this location so I was not going back. I tried calling several times. No one ever answered. I left voicemails. Let's just say I'm still waiting for a return call. Meanwhile I reached out to corporate. I was insulted by receiving a $15 voucher to use for a future. I had spent $47 on trash that couldn't be eaten. I'm definitely not returning to this or any location. They can keep their voucher. Being from the south, my grandmother loved Kentucky Fried Chicken. If she didn't feel like cooking, the only place she would stop by would be KFC. Well I'll tell you, after our last visit here, my grandmother and Harland would be turning in their grave. We ordered the 16 piece bucket family meal and the popcorn chicken for one of our kids. The 16 piece meal comes with 4 sides and 8 biscuits. For our sides, we chose the mash potatoes and gravy and the cole slaw. I'll start with the mashed potatoes and gravy. They were OK - not spectacular, not mediocre, just OK and the only thing we really didn't have a complaint about. The cole slaw seemed solid when we dished it out. However as we ate, it leached out a pond of cole slaw juice turning out mashed potatoes into some kind of potato/slaw soup. As for the biscuits, we received 7 regular sized biscuits and one 1/4 sized biscuit in the shape of a small rock. It was almost like they took the scraps from the dough, tried to make a biscuit and served it to us as a full biscuit. The popcorn chicken is supposed to come with 4 cookies. I say supposed because when we got home with our meal, they were no where to be found! Now for the coup de gras, the chicken. 16 pieces comes with 4 thighs, 4 breasts, 4 drumsticks and 4 wings. The thighs are slit in two, so you actually 4 half size thighs. The breast appear to be split in thirds. When I want a thigh, I want a whole thigh, not one cut in two - so you can up your count (and the price) on the number of pieces; same for the breasts. These are the tiniest pieces of chicken I have ever seen! Overall bad experience and it will probably be a long time for my next visit. read more

We ordered this 20 dollar deal that came with the chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, biscuits, and coleslaw. The chicken was just ok. The mashed potatoes were instant, the gravy watered down. Coleslaw tasted like it came from an old tub. My man got a Dr. Pepper, and they were out of ice. Evidently, they were out of carbination as well, as there was hardly any fizz in his soda. We took it all to go, and didn't realize the quality until we got home. We bust our ass for the money we make, and to waste it on complete garbage pisses me off. Called the kfc on 10th st and avenue k in Lancaster about 5 times and no one answered. Get to location after a 6 mile drive and this dirty looking guy with long hair comes to assist me. I tell him my coleslaw was missing and he was staring and my receipt and says oh you went thru drive thru i said yes and I drove all the way home a had to drive back at no point did he even apologize at no point, that just upset me even apologize he goes and fixes a the coleslaw and puts it on counter as if I was begging for something. I paid for it and wasted my time, gas and energy but again no fucken apology, never again will go to this location I understand we are all human and mistakes happen but to not apologize that's not ok, I am a paying customer and only wanted what I paid for. I went through the drive-thru and made the mistake of not checking my food. Unfortunately I was missing part of my order and even worse was when I noticed I was 30 miles away. I called and spoke to Josue the assistant manager and he promised to make it up the next time I was passing through.
