We've been eating KFC for a long time and really enjoyed it. Specially the original chickens.. They must have changed Colonel Sanders recipe and the process of cooking their chickens.. We ordered the original chickens and it was so over fried that we can't even taste the original ingredients Colonel Sanders secret recipe made.. Our mistake not checking the chickens before leaving the restaurant. We put so much faith on them to give us the great tasting that they very well known for.. We're so disappointed. My biscuits were over cooked & hard. The chicken was over cooked & hard to eat, the fries & coleslaw were good. I paid $48 for an 8 piece meal. KFC used to be good but they are so overpriced for the lack of quality. When I was a kid my family would get the 12 piece qith mash potatoes & gravy & biscuits and it was fantastic. Trying to rate this a zero Service was nonexistent. I ordered on the app and was told I have to park and go inside to retrieve my food. Thinking perhaps they thought I was an Ubereats or other pickup service I explained and still was told I had to park and come inside. The order was from The RockVale area instead of the KFC on Columbia Avenue which is the closest to my home. The driver had the hardest time trying to get to my house. I have to say this was the best customer service I've received at a fast food place in a long time. From the person taking the orders to the cashier. I wish I would have gotten a receipt so I could share their names. Our Oder was at 5:30ish today Friday the 13th. They did have a computer issue but the service was so amazing and they handled everything so well that I was bothered by a couple of minutes extra wait time at all. I'm super impressed! I went to KFC on Saturday November 18, 2023 at about 6 PM and I was very impressed. The female on the intercom and the female where I got my food were very friendly. The girl where I got my food asked are you getting the 2 piece chicken and I said no I am getting the three piece chicken and she smiled and said yeah you are right. She has my order perfect including my drink with no ice. Both girls said hi when I first came to them and they both wished me a nice night. The chicken was outstanding. Really bad KFC. Wait times are always 10-20 min. They consistently get the order wrong or forget to put silverware in the bag. But I still go sometimes because sometimes you just get that craving for KFC extra crispy chicken, and it's only one of two KFC's in Lancaster. read more

They got my order wrong didn't realize until I got home went back and a woman gave me an attitude saying "should've been the green box with nuggets" I responded "I didn't get a green box with nuggets that's why I'm here" she starts throwing my food in the box like I'm not looking right at her then when she realized I was staring directly at her she broke eye contact and went to the back. This KFC is completely disgusting I feel bad for the people that eat from here. The employees do not wear gloves they will pick food out of the food warmers and feed other employees infront of customers. When you walk up to the register they see you standing there but don't come up to you and ignore you and they don't ask you if you need help with anything. Fry's will fall into there bear hands without gloves and they put it back in the bin to feed to customers. If you have to pick up a order you will wait almost 30 minutes ridiculous. He knocks in the drive through window to see what is going on with the food. They employees in the inside look around for the order and they don't have it made. They said it will be right out in five mins. Another 15 mins goes by I walk up to the drive though window AGAIN and ask for my order, THEY STILL DO NOT HAVE IT MADE. What a nightmare! Yesterday, I took my wife and sister out for a quick lunch. We parked and went inside this KFC. The drive-thru was empty, and there was only 1 guest ahead of me in line. There was no one on counter. We stood there for 5 minutes waiting for a single person to come up to the front. What were the workers even doing back there? The place was EMPTY. Eventually, the older gentleman ordered his food, but the cashier couldn't print a receipt. The older man said it was "okay, don't worry about it". The young worker then fiddles around with the receipt machine for minutes on end. Eventually, I place my order, which was quite simple. (Two $5.00 fill-me-ups) More quests come inside, drive-thru still empty. Older gentleman is notified that coleslaw is out-of-stock. They replace it with mashed potatoes. Now, here's where things get funny! I watched 5 other guests place their orders, the cashier did not tell any of them that coleslaw was out! Each guest was disgruntled as they paid, sat down, waited, and was notified of the out-of-stock item. What a train wreck this place was. The inside was also filthy, and I watched a worker in the back touching her pants and wiping her hands off all over her body then handling food. I'm lucky I didn't walk away with a bacterial infection. This place needs to get shut down. Sometimes I think people are overly negative about the reviews of restaurants, but in this case, I would say the previous reviews are fairly accurate. I just went to the drive-through, and was told that they were out of biscuits and it would be a 12 minute wait for more biscuits. Upon arrival I could clearly see employees through the window. At the drive thru no one answered at all. I parked my car and went inside to order and upon entering All the employees in the building were just messing around by the counter and when I asked to order they told me that they are closed and they won't take my order. When I said your website, and sign says you're open until 10pm they said no we decided to close. Even though they were taking orders through the app in front of me. So I went out to my car and placed an order through the app since they were taking orders as we spoke in the store. I was just here, 20 people were in the lobby and they said they didn't have any breasts, fried, grilled, any at all and it would take 20 minutes to make some. The place cleared out in under 15 seconds. It's been awhile since I went to KFC because they always "sold out" of what ever I wanted so I decided to give them another chance today and boy was it a mistake. I got home to find out they forgot half the order and the "food" that did make it home was so greasy it ate threw the boxes in the 5 minuets it took to get home. I went into Kentucky fried chicken for lunch. I ordered a three piece chicken strip meal. I received a six piece family sized meal. I returned to the cashier and explained the mistake. I explained I didn't order the family meal, I ordered a single meal. They gave me another family meal. I explain to them a second time that the order was incorrect. They refused to give me a refund, and told me the order was correct. I called the corporate office and they refused to issue me a refund and told me they were going to conduct an investigation.
