Well if you are like me and are a lover of Belgium beers, looks no farther! You will enjoy their…read moreselection. We have been here a couple of times. Food is good, and we do enjoy the chicken wings! We have also tried the burgers. The staff is great and has a good sense of humor.

I've had the Jäger schnitzle most recently which is a popular German dish of fried pork cutlet with a brown mushroom and onion gravy. The onions were super sweet - almost too sweet, but that didn't make me not like the dish. To drink I discovered they had Delirium Red on tap! On tap! That is one of my favorite beers and as an American in the US it's hard to find and when you do it's super expensive! So I was stoked to get that here on tap, one after the other. My husband ordered the chicken wings, and he did wish they were crispier and had more flavors to choose. He loves wings so because of the lack of crisp and flavor he won't be ordering those again. He also had the "Pizza" schnitzle which is another fried pork cutlet with a bunch of toppings and then covered in cheese. It was delicious! This is a beer place so I can't complain about having limited tequila options, but I do wish it had more than Jose Cuervo Gold (Public Service Announcement to De Belgium Bistro: most expats hate Cuervo). The staff is friendly and accommodating and one thing for Americans to remember is that in EU if you want service you have to ask for it - don't be offended just take control of your own experience. I look forward to my next evening at De Belgium Bistro! Prost!

Tried everything though. The samosas were okay, spring rolls were okay. The lamb was really good and actually lots of it. The chicken was pretty good, pizza was okay and the gyro, wasn't a gyro it was kind of more pieces of chicken and fries with a red yogurt dip. Still cannot find the elusive actual gyro here. This place is worth a try and has a bunch of different options. The fries can use salt but then again once fried start cooking off it's hard for them to stay good. Will try again.

This place is a great fusion of Italian, American, Indian, German, and Chinese. Of all the different cultures they cook for, our favorite to order from this establishment is Italian and German cuisine; American and Indian is decent and the Chinese (based off of the one choice we ordered) was okay. The many PRO' that this place has to offer is: 1. They deliver! Yes, they also take visa, mastercard and Euro! Very convenient. Also, they're VERY QUICK! Normal waiting time from the restaurant to our home in Otterbach is 20-21 minutes, the fastest time: 17:23 minutes and the longest time: 35:12. This is with us ordering at least three to five dishes. Amazing, don't you think? 2. The menu has many options and seriously 9/10 things we've ordered has been AMAZING! The food is DELICIOUS. Between the many different cultures, below are my favorites/go to's to order from this BOMB(ay) restaurant: ITALY - (ALL TIME FAVORITES): a) Carbonara Pasta with spaghetti (#53) - pasta with cream sauce, bacon bits, and eggs; seriously, MAGNIFICENT b) Lachs Pasta with spaghetti (#61) - pasta with Salmon, broccoli, and creme sauce; very yummy c) Pizza Bolognese (#37) - See the menu, so good! d) Picante Pizza (#14) - Both are similar in ingredients; The familie size pizza is the one we usually order, enough for two adults, two servings. The pizza is square, thin, and delicious! GERMANY: a) Cordon Bleu (#84) - Delicious, not like other Germany restaurants here where its just meat, it comes with the chicken, ham and melted cheese. Maybe that's a little too much American but is SO good b) Parmaschnitzel (#81) - Very good but a little too cheesy, I just don't use all the cheese AMERICA: a) Chicken Wings (#105) - Hubby's FAVE b) The Pommés / fries (#101) are AMAZING! *The fries come with the most American dishes and German dishes which is awesome because if you end up getting one of the dishes I mentioned you really wouldn't need to order them separately. INDIA: Curry Pikant (#121) which comes with rice and is SO DELICOUS! CHINA: a) Knudprige Ente (#203) - which wasn't the best but I do have Chinese blood and I know what to expect and this just wasn't a normal Chinese dish for me... Not saying I know everything just that with it being part of my culture the taste just didn't seem familiar. 3. The make it very easy to order, you just say the number you want (all menu items are numbered the way I displayed them above) and they're decent in English. I've never had an issue ordering. The only CON I have is that the one item I ordered on the Chinese menu wasn't great but white may explain why they only have a few choices to chose from. Which is the ONLY reason I didn't give them five stars but in all honestly, they do deserve a five! I just feel five equals perfect and don't want to say something I believe isn't 100% true. I also, still have many options to try so I can't give a solid perfect rating for only trying not even half the menu. I do recommend this place for anyone who doesn't want to leave home and needs a quick fix! This place WILL NOT disappoint. I'm such a loyal customer they gave us a FREE liter of Coca Cola (which is €2,50). They're so sweet!

As typical, quite a lot of items were forgotten (meaning never delivered to our table) so we re-ordered those. Some items showed up much later... Salmon and tuna nigiri were plain this time... We've learned our lesson - don't visit Kahori with a large group. Too many items end up missing in action, everything's placed on the same plates for sharing, and sometimes the waiting after ordering is quite long. On the plus side, the unagi was wonderful as usual. I'm happy to say I knocked down 17 pieces of unagi nigiri.

READ THIS BEFORE YOU GO!…read more Beware. Eat at your own risk, but I would recommend going somewhere (anywhere) else. When you walk in, the room is clean and looks nicely decorated. The hostess brings an iPad over and explains how to order. 'Order as much as you want, but no leftovers.' Ok. So I can't take any food home, right? Wrong. They will charge you for any food you do not eat! On top of what they charge you for the food in the first place! I'm all for not wasting food, but this feels like a scam for several reasons. Reasons this feels like a scam: 1. The sushi is 90% rice. Nigiri, huge rice ball topped with mushy fish. Rolls, way too much rice wrapped around mushy fish with brown avocado, mayonnaise and dried out out imitation crab meat. Topped with discolored tuna. Tasted as bad as it looked. 2. Gyoza. This was a fundamental nightmare. Undercooked, swimming in oil, falling apart and completely lacking in texture. 3. Tempura. Neither the shrimp nor the vegetables were coated in an actual tempura batter. The shrimp were coated in panko breadcrumbs and the veggies were battered in something thick and heavy. Tempura should be light & crispy. Not swimming in oil, heavy and dark dark brown. ~Remember....no leftovers!~ 4. Shrimp. Poopy poopy shrimp. See my picture for proof. And mushy. No texture whatsoever. Disgusting. 5. Egg rolls and spring rolls. Burnt on the outside, more weird tasting filling and undercooked dough on the inside. 6. Beef noodle soup. Ramen noodles like from the package overcooked to the point of disintegration, making the broth cloudy and starchy. I couldn't pick the noodles up with chopsticks because they kept getting smushed. Beef was chewy and slimy. Another nightmare of cooking techniques. Whoever runs the kitchen is doing not just a bad job, but the worst job. There were so many fundamental screw ups with this meal that I'm shocked this place is still open. When we decided to pay, the hostess came back, looked at the table and said 'oh, we charge for the leftovers.' What?!? No. I told her why we didn't eat the nasty food and she told us we should have told them before we got ready to pay. She said: 'I TOLD you no leftovers!' I told her it was clearly not our fault the food was bad and we COULDN'T eat it. Pointed out all the problems and she told us to just go, it was okay. 'But next time, tell us sooner.' Lady, there will certainly NOT be a next time. I'm sorry there was a first time. Stay away! Your wallet and stomach will thank you.
