Best KFC I've ever been to and everytime I come the employees are always super nice!!! The food is always hot as well.

There are no surprises here, classic KFC that fits the mold. My low rating is mainly due to the person that took our order. I asked "how are you" when walking in and his response was "for here or to go". I'm a customer service freak so lack of will knock stars off quicker than anything in my opinion. Stopped by with my wife and decided we wanted only the chicken tenders. Only choice was the 3 piece or 6 piece. We ordered the 6 piece so we could split it. The lady who took our drive through order was nice. Told us our options and to order when we were ready. The young man who gave us our order and took our money was nice too. Everything was A-okay until we got home and opened the box. My wife looked at me and said, how disappointing. The pieces were small. Unexpectedly small. For about $2 a tender, I would say we lost out on the deal. KFC, you have to leave your customers wanting more. I pulled up to the drive thru to take my order, and i started off by asking for the #3 dark meat, WHICH IS A 4 PIECE MEAL. Also crispy, and a SIDE ORDER OF GRAVY. Side. Order. Of. Gravy. With a sweet tea no ice and a pot pie. He read back what I asked for and it was, "A 4 piece, side of gravy, sweet tea bo ice and a pot pie" I said yes, he said the total was $17 something, We pulled up to the window and the lady that cashed me out was nice. We drove home.... Now I hate to write reviews and be like a "Karen", but why could ya'll not get the order correct. I sat down at the table and took out the "gravy" and it was mashed potatoes and gravy.. But YET I said gravy as a side. Okay sure maybe he didn't know that gravy can be a side but i said NOTHING. AT ALL. About mashed potatoes. At this point I ignored it and dipped a drum in the mashed potatoes and ate it. Now the chicken was all on one side, so i assumed that there was another leg under the thighs.. but NO. Two thighs and a leg. Come on now. Y'all have to get both wrong?? But this wasnt the first time they got an order wrong for us, yesterday we ordered 4 piece dark original, green beans and sweet tea and then a 3 PIECE, mashed potatoes and gravy with a sweet tea and we got the 4 piece but 2 pieces for the second meal... I live less than 2 miles from this location. I have been to many KFCs, but will not go back to this location. They have a limited menu (no baked beans, no corn on the cob, etc.) The only time I went here the food was terrible. Small pieces, dry ( likely under a heat lamp for God knows how long, potato wedges were unedible). Needless to say, I was really disappointed as the 2nd nearest location is about 10 miles from me. Ordered the 2 piece dinner, drumstick and thigh, with sides of mashed potatoes and green beans, and for my wife, chicken casserole. Got home and opened up the boxes. Casserole was as ordered and delicious. My 2 piece dinner contained 1 wing and 1 breast, accompanied by a biscuit. No dark meat as ordered and no sides, although paid for!! Just ordered 8 pc chicken and be aware - there is something wrong with the cole slaw. I called the store and suggested they taste it themselves and the manager, who seemed to be a kid, said it was fine despite not tasting it. This location has gone downhill. KFC Restaurant #J970028. Went inside the Restaurant to place my order at the counter. Cashier Daniel took my order and payment. Tender meal 16 pieces with 4 sides 8 biscuits Bkt sweet tea. The gentleman who filled the order gave me one bag. I questioned him, "Is this everything". The gentleman replied, "Yes". I asked him where the sweet tea was. He scrambled to locate the sweet tea. I overheard him and Daniel argue about sweet tea sitting in a bucket that was half filled. The gentleman insisted for Daniel to fill the bucket the remainder of the way and give it to me. I am not confident that the sweet tea is safe to consume. I questioned the gentleman if the biscuits were in the single bag he gave me. He said nothing. He returned to the counter with a box in a bag. And again said nothing. At the time the order was placed Daniel requested a list of sauces I needed. The sauces are listed on my receipt. I just got my food order today at the drive thru and the chicken fingers were not hot, just warm and very dry like they had been setting under heat lamps, my wife got a chicken pot pie and she said it was very hot and very good, my son got a 3 piece grill chicken meal and the chicken was not hot and very dry. This is very unusual for KFC in Indian Trail, NC. I sure hope the chicken is better next time we are there. read more
