Located on the corner of the Sun Valley shopping center 4 stores from Harris Teeter, lies the best Sub Shop you'll find anywhere around. Yes, in this safe to shop area with a very friendly staff who make their subs with a smile, a nationwide franchise lays claim to the best subs outside of family owned restaurants of course. In other words, if you're corporate, and have a good at product, make all your restaurants good at it by starting with great ingredients, treat your employees right and have a true commitment to quality. Yes, Jersey Mikes is awesome and this reflects here. Walking in, the place is always clean as this is my favorite chain sub shop I frequent the restaurant. The floors are well swept, spotless walls and everything is in it's place. The tables are clean, the staff friendly, and one almost feels at ease ordering one of the finer subs you can get, however equating them to larger sub shops is almost criminal. I admit, I'm a cold sub fiend and you can keep the hot subs (sorry Philly). I've literally had every one of their subs but I hold true to the original Italian. Every time I get mine, it's literally a salad on bread. A little bit of onion, lots of lettuce, tomatoes, a couple pickles, 2 japs, S&P, Oregano, lots of mayo, lots of oil, a bit of vinegar but I wish they had olives..... Mine is perfection, brought on by my countless visits and endless tinkering. Good thing I don't work there! (oh wait, I did work for Subway in high school via the 90s) One of kids got the turkey and provolone along with mayo, lettuce and pickles. She loved the bread and ingredients and made quick work of the 6" grinder! My youngest got the ham and provolone (although we both thought they should offer Swiss) with mayo, lettuce and tomato. However, she proceeded to crunch Doritos into the sub so I'm considering her well taught, yet throwing out her review. Overall, they had the same experience as I did loved it. In summary, the store is very clean and safe, while the staff are very nice. Admittedly if you've been to one Jersey Mike's you've basically been to them all. So I'm basically here saying the say thing as a repeated record as I've lived all over the place and travel frequently. This store is a smidge better than others so shop in confidence you'll get the best sub around! read more

Sandwich was made wrong so I called to let them know, it was a mobile order. The manager Laura was VERY rude and unapologetic. She basically told me I was wrong and the girl who made my sandwich said she made it correct. It's a shame to spend this type of money in an establishment and be treated this way. Sadly this was really door dashes error but the response from Jersey Mikes assistant manager "Kee" was unacceptable. Ordered through the jersey mikes app, Door dash never showed up, denied calls. Called Jersey Mikes, they say call door dash. Called door dash, they say call Jersey Mikes. Again called Jersey Mikes, spoke to "Kee" and asked for the order to be delivered again. She didn't know what to do and said she would call the manager and call us right back. Well after an hour we called back. She never called the manager. Wow, great customer service. Second time I ordered a cheesesteak with fried onions and peppers. Told the guy to cook the bell peppers in with the onions. Got home and saw no onions and uncooked bell peppers on it. And the bread I requested wasn't right. Shouldn't have to watch them cook! Totally screwed it up. Hire someone who understands English or retrain him!! read more

The Welsey Chapel location is not good. Their customer service is horrible. I ordered my food from the app at 12:09 am and drove to their location. There were only 4 people in line so I waited and waited. No one spoke to me or made eye contact. More people arrived in the shop and they worked on getting their orders prepared before even looking at my order. It was 12:39 when my sub was made and the girl made it with mayo and had to change it. She handed me my order and never said "sorry for your wait". I WILL NOT go back to that location again. Great service, clean and fast. I know that there are a lot of sub places around here but the bread they use is excellent here. The location is across the street from Sun Valley High but, it wasn't a hang-out so, no worries about massive lines. However, I was there on Friday at lunch and it was busy. Nothing really different from the other sub shops but they have a nice assortment of wraps and subs in lettuce for the non-carb people. read more

I got a BLT... kind of the easiest sandwich on the planet right... It's really hard to get this wrong. I got the biggest size so my friend and I could share ... Over $17 later I about chipped my tooth on the rock hard bacon. I specifically asked if the bacon would be warm and they said oh yeah yeah no problem it should be... Not only was it cold it was so old and overcooked crumbled apart and got everywhere. I used to really enjoy going to Jersey Mike's because you could count on them having really quality food... It's so sad how they have gone so far downhill. It used to be worth it to pay a little bit more to get a really good quality sandwich. Not anymore. If you are going to charge so much money for something so simple it needs to be better. I should have stuck with Jimmy John's across the street read more

If I could give this place ZERO STAR, I would. This Wesley Chapel location is the absolute worst. No one ever smiles. I just popped in for a Friday evening sub.....the bread was stale and the lettuce (even the NEW bin they retrieved from the back) was ready for the garbage! Has been years since trying Jersey Mike's and this visit reminded me of why. The sandwich has all the elements of a well made hoagie/sub but the meats and cheese are sliced so thin it is difficult to taste them when dressed with "the juice." All I tasted was the oil & vinegar. Up the proportion of meat and it will be perfect. Not saying it has to be too thick - just adjust the slicers a tad thicker so the sandwich will taste better. read more

Best JM experience in NC thus far, clean store, well run and managed. Friendly customer service and great attention to detail on the sprinkle board. Had been here a few times in the last two years but service was mediocre and the quality of food wasn't quite there. Very happy to see this store has been re-vamped. I will be visiting more often.
