Had always been curious about this little strip mall off independence and Friday night was the time to check it out. Arrived around 11pm and was surprised to actually see it lively! DJ was playing everything from hip hop, pop and even Spanish (Reggaeton) music. It was a VIBE! It was more of a younger crowd from what it looked like. Mid 20ish+. Snagged two spots at their bar that faces the pool tables. They have 3 pool tables and I believe you have to pay in advanced to snag your turn to play. Stayed only for one drink but we had a great time. Wouldn't mind stopping by again, maybe on a different night jist to see what the vibe is. We came here for the first time to play Music Bingo on Thursday night! WOW! I'm surprised this little local gem isn't more busy. We had a blast playing and even won a prize! The DJ would buy you drink if you won! The funnel cake and apple dumpling with ice cream was delicious! Highly recommend getting out here! read more

Great little spot! Went here for the first time 3 weeks ago. Everyone that works here is super friendly and welcoming. A pretty large variety of bottled and canned beer. I told the bar tender what types of beers I liked and he gave me some great suggestions. When I went back a week later the bar tender remembered me and told me they got some new beers in he thought I might like. He was spot on! I have tried their french dip, zesty fries and cheese sticks, all which were very good. They have pool tables in the back and live music on Fridays which was been nice. read more

Indian Trail hidden gem. Convenient late night bar with pool tables. Decent priced, average $3.00/3.50 beer but could include more spirit drink specials (Thursday is $2 beer). Very unpleasant! Felt like an outcast as I went in. Bar Tender went around the counter asked what I wanted and told her im not ordering a drink yet as I trying to see the food menu first to see what I want to start from there, she had an altitude during this I guess because she had to walk back and forth just to get behind the bar but i do not know, once I was trying to figure out what I wanted asked her a few questions on the menu and she was completely blowing me off and once I told her I was dining in, she scuffed at me saying "this is why I asked what drink you wanted so I can start a tab?!" After trying to apologize about this I just ended up feeling completely unwelcomed demanded my card back, she sounded completely happy from this.. the altitude and everything was just appalling, distasteful experience when I am just trying to enjoy myself. Went for the first time ever tonight. Didn't try the food, but the bartender (whose name I didn't catch) was super nice and tolerated my snobby questions about their beer selection. Went out of his way to make sure I was okay. I had a crap day today and it wasn't much but just his friendly face helped me feel a lot better. Cocktails were good and though the beer selection is somewhat limiting for someone new to beer such as myself, they had something I learned that I liked. Will definitely come back. read more

I like their food, especially their cheesesteaks, I have been trying to call them for an hour or so and got a busy signal, now it rings and nobody answers. I'm not going to pay Uber Premium $38 to find out they are closed or their kitchen isn't open. Not only do I hate the way this place smells when you walk in.... I hate how the smell stays with you when you walk out.... it makes my clothes stink.... and my hair. It's awful. The food is ok... but not worth the way it makes you smell until you are able to change and take a shower. read more

Who else is open until 2am around here!? I came here with a friend for the first time bc no one else was open after 11. Definitely a whole in the wall bar but it was fun and the people were nice! Only one person working the bar/floor on a Saturday .The owner, Linda, is apparently OK with letting the place run into the ground. We informed the bartender/waiter of this and left without food, wait was too long. Shame on this owner. read more

I'm giving this 4 stars because the food is great, but the service is slow and they tend to get orders wrong. If you are in a rush, I strongly recommend calling ahead (and make sure you double check your order). Absolutely THE BEST sandwiches anywhere around. All are GREAT. The atmosphere is just my speed, very relaxed and not fancy. For me it's part of the charm of the place. I do have to admit that the service is very hit/miss. I think this is mainly due to a lot of turnover in the wait staff. They do seem to want to know if the service has been good/not good. Not sure about the other two reviews, maybe they own the place, but this wasn't not a good visit. We got there around 11:30 for lunch, not a person in the place( should have left then)! We wait for our "deer in the headlights waitress" for a few minutes to seat us. They obviously don't clean much as the place was filthy, and she seated us at a booth was dirty and didn't bother to wipe it down. We ordered a wings, fries, cheese steak. About two minutes later she comes back to tell us the frier isn't hot yet and it will be 30 minutes on the wings. Change that to a burger, but wait the fries too! So I get some lays chips(best part of the meal). Then I am told the ice tea has been made either. This just went down hill, to sum it up cold burger and no taste on a cheesesteak. Not sure how somewhere can screw that up, but this place manages to. I would keep driving to another location if considering it. I just pray I am not sick later!!! read more

The service was terrible. It took forever for the server to acknowledge that we were at the table. We had to let someone at the bar know that we were sitting at the table. The server passed the table a few times before greeting us. When the server finally greeted us, she did not ask how we were doing, apologize for the wait, or even introduce herself. She just asked what we wanted to drink. She then proceeded to take a long time to bring us our drinks and even then failed to bring us menus. We finally were able to get menus, sat there forever with the menus at the edge of the table so she would know that we were ready to order but once again she continued to pass our table. She finally came to take our orders and very rudely asked, "What do you want?" We asked her questions about the items that we wanted to order and she didn't know the menu at all. She failed to tell us what all came on the Philly and did know how many chicken fingers I would be getting with my meal. It did not take us long to get our food but she did not check up on us once the whole time we were eating. Oh, and she forgot to bring the condiments that we asked for. She also forgot to bring us napkins. When we were done with our food, we put our baskets at the end of the table, hoping she would see that we were done but again, she continued to pass our table. We had to ask another server for our ticket so that we could pay. Finally, after our drinks had been empty for a while, she brought us our ticket, AFTER we already payed through the other server. She took our drinks to refill them and took forever to bring them back. The restaurant wasn't even close to being busy with most people sitting at the bar, drinking. Being from NY.... I truly missed a good deli sandwich. Well, I got one today. The sandwich was awesome. They serve Boar's Head meats and the bread is very NY like italian bread. I was very pleased. The menu is quite large and they have a great selection of hot and cold foods. YUMMY!!! read more

Ok, when you first walk in you are hit in the face with the smell of grease. Its strong. And afterwards your hair and clothes smell like grease. Meh, not so good. Not a big variety of craft beer. They need to look into carrying local beers. With all of the local breweries it would be nice to see a local bar support local brews-would probably bring in more business as this place is dead every time I go in. I have to be selfish because I like that aspect because I always get a seat at the bar! Bartenders are SO nice. You feel like you are drinking over at a friends house except for your friends are serving you:) The wings = DELICIOUS. Perfect crispness and the sauces are great. I hate to only give 2 stats because the food was really good and the bartender was awesome. The problem is that it was a hundred fricking degrees in there. I thought maybe I was just hot from me being outside but it never got cooler, I ended up getting my food to go so I only got to drink 1 beer :( . We went out to watch our son perform with his band and it was somewhat louder than places we would normally eat, but considering the NFL playoff game that was on, it wasn't too loud. The service was excellent! We seated ourselves and a waitress came over and gave us menus and took our drink orders within a minute of sitting. They sell Boar's Head brand deli meat there and I had the Arnie Grape which is roast beef on marble rye with 1000 island, oil/vinegar, lettuce, tomato, onion, and cheese. It was fabulous! I haven't had a roast beef sandwich that good in years! The only drawback I saw at all was that there is only one bathroom per gender and that's not nearly enough when you have that many people eating and drinking in one place. I went to Jukebox Deli with my grown daughter and a friend of mine last week. The service was great. They kept coming back to our table to ask us if we needed anything . The food was wonderful. I had a Chefs Salad and there was a lot of meat on top. The other two people had sandwiches and they were really large with lots of meat on them. It was not cold in there like a lot of restaurants that I go to. It was comfortable. I have been going to Jukebox Deli for years... I always get the wings and salad only because I need a gluten free diet. The sandwiches look so good! I have always had a very good meal and come out full! I take my granddaughter all the time. She loves the picture machine there. The people are very friendly and kids are welcome in there. It is a bar at night but during the day and early evening it is perfect for families with children. One star simply because I can't go any lower. My mom showed me this place about three years ago and I've been multiple times, always enjoying the sandwiches most talk about on the reviews you've likely read. Being that I am a local and a young adult with great potential business for this establishment as both a bar and a restaurant I was completely blown away by the sheer disrespect I received from the owner of Jukebox deli. My date and I are there to meet with a few friends and shoot some pool. She orders a margarita with house tequila. Not that we are expecting an outstanding top of the line margarita, but it was hands down the weakest margarita I've ever tasted. So much sour that you literally puckered at a sip of the drink without so much of a hint of tequila. My date watched the drink while it was being made and saw that it was not properly measured; but figured the bartender most likely had an idea of what she was doing. After my date complained to me and I tasted the drink for myself I immediately went to the bar and asked the bartender with the upmost calmness and respect to simply throw another splash of tequila into the drink. As she began to defend herself, I was quick to tell her that I work at a bar myself in hopes of her realizing that I wasn't some bogus chap walking in looking for a hand out. Her response to me was "me too". She then turned and proceeded to tell me the owner was sitting at the opposite end of the bar. I look and catch a glimpse of a dirty drunk man wearing a white t-shirt, ball cap, and blue jeans. I approached the man and begin to ask him similar questions I had previously asked the bartender before she gave me a taste of her shitty attitude. His response to me was: "if she doesn't like it, she can buy a double instead". (My date) All I asked for was a splash of house tequila. Not patron, not 1800, not don Julio, not el espolon, etc. house tequila. We finished our last game of pool and decided to tab out. As I was leaving I paused near the owner and told him he had lost any business from myself or any members of the small group I was with because we would never come back after the disrespectful and unnecessary serviced we had received. I walked out of the establishment only to be followed out by the owner yelling: "hey guy, yo guy, I'm talking to you". And followed it up with "I don't want your type of fucking business anyway". I was nothing short of baffled after I had been absolutely respectful, calm, and friendly regardless of any disrespect I had received while at jukebox deli, just for this man to come out and act like a fool towards a customer. I highly recommend staying away from this establishment as it is horrendously disgustingly dirty, smelly, and the service is absolutely the bottom of the barrel. Bartenders are clearly untrained, unmotivated, and unsupervised. Management is a drunken fool sitting at the bar lost in his drink instead of looking to improve his place of business. It's a shame places like this are able to evade health inspectors and keep their doors open. read more
