    Feather for flavoring.

Mark this one in the 'if I could give 0 stars I would' category. Been to this location a few times with no real issue besides having to pull up front and wait for my order. Hesitated to go again after reading all the bad reviews but my son wanted nuggets from KFC. Drove up and was told they don't have nuggets, I would have to wait, then oh wait we don't have them at all. I ordered a tender meal and 8 piece meal. Cashier told me to pull up front per usual. After about 10 minutes I see a worker come out with two bags of food and asks me what I ordered and I told him exactly what I ordered and he looked at me in shock as if I read a completely different order he walks to the car behind me and I see the lady tell him her order and he walks back to me. To my disbelief, the worker asks if I ordered the tenders and 8 piece meal. I tell him yes and he tells his manager or someone in his earpiece nevermind I found the person. I tell him I gave you my exact order 3 minutes ago and you walked away, his response was 'yeah' and walks back into the store. Food was garbage. The chicken skin was soggy and falling apart. The chicken looked like someone used their hands and rubbed all the batter and skin until it fell off and broke into pieces. They did leave me a nice present of a feather on my chicken wing for extra flavoring and forgot my gravy for my mashed potatoes. SMH. $42 worth of food and 2 napkins and no utensils. Never again.

Part of our dried up chicken, look at the size of the chicken compared to the key!

We went to the KFC on 249 & Louetta to get some dinner on the way home 07/28/2024 (Sunday). As many, we are still recovering from Beryl, and our fridge has just the bare minimum since we had to throw away everything. We ordered the 12 piece dinner, $40.04, so we would have some extra for tomorrow. What we ended up with was 12 pieces of old, dried up cold chicken. It's been years since I've visited KFC, and this will be the last time. They served us food that should have been thrown into the trash, but they thought placing it into their bucket and sending it home with us was a better option. We went there at 8 pm, two hours before closing time, so there is absolutely no excuse, except they just don't care. We were able to eat a couple of pieces, but those too were dried out. We were too tired to take it back. We never got a receipt when we paid. We were asked to wait on the other side of the store while the order was being filled. (Drive thru) Once we got home and opened the bucket, I looked for the receipt, but it was not in the bag either. The key in the picture is to show the size of the chicken. Don't waste your time with this place. I emailed the corporate office that night, then again 48 hours later, but they never responded to me either. They have your money, and it does not affect their stock, so they DO NOT CARE!

I feel compelled to share by experience from today. You see, I have childhood memories of KFC being great. My father would buy KFC nearly every mother's day so my mom wouldn't have to cook dinner. It wasn't the best, but we all enjoyed it. Today was very different. I want to the KFC on Louetta and 249 (for the first time in about 5 years). I downloaded the app and ordered ahead. We arrived, and they told me that my order had already been picked up - but I am me, and I didn't get it. They said they'd re-make it - no problem. I asked for for our cups. The drink machine looked like a disaster and was in serious need of deep-cleaning. I pushed the ice-dispenser and got 2 ice cubes AND AN ORANGE BALLPOINT PEN FELL INTO MY CUP. I'm not even joking! I walked to the counter, my stomach in knots, now, as I contemplated germs mixing around all of the ice in the dispenser. I really wanted to take a picture, but the lady at the counter took it and threw it in the trash before I could. My daughter had black flecks in her cup after dumping her ice out. Every table and seat in the restaurant had crumbs and/or grease on it. We cleaned our own table to eat at. The floors were dirty, and the parking lot matched the inside of the restaurant with trash everywhere. Besides giving me their "classic" rather than their "spicy" chicken sandwich as I had ordered, and not giving us all the cookies we ordered, the food looked old. My individual mashed potatoes and gravy had old and crusty gravy all around the edges. Word to the wise: pull off the crunchy skin to see what is underneath before you take a bite. The meat was minimal, and somehow I got a bunch of backbone and a good lung nugget to boot! Gross! Oh, and they never apologized for the ballpoint pen in their ice/my cup. They just got me a new cup. How kind. Bottom line: avoid this KFC if you want to live

Yes, I am reviewing KFC lol. And Mrs. Jenny is awesome. Such a sweetheart! It's good to find southern hospitality still exists and she made my night. I of corse was watching a show and the family was eating fried chicken so I naturally wanted some and the closest thing was KFC off of Louetta. And I know it's late and everybody wants to go home but Mrs. Jenny thank you so much for your hospitality. dang it I forgot to order jalapeños why do I always do that!

I came through the drive thru and ordered a 5 $ bowl sprint n fresh. I received my food and it was fresh but not spicy so I went through the line again and told the cashier my food was supposed to be spicy she takes the regular 5$ bowl and gives it back drenched in oil I've been here many times and have gotten the 5$ bowl spicy all the time i am extremely disappointed will not be coming back here.

There was one not too far from me and it was nice to make a small trip. Plus I had my edc camera with my new lens and have been dying to get some snapshots since I knew it had a retro theme. Not gonna lie, this place is pretty legit. The food was great, and the prices? Wow. Super affordable for all the food we got. I went back to the counter after my burger and decided to get the nuggets to try them. The restaurant was super clean and the employees were friendly as well. All very positive things to see when you walk in. If you're near one, you should give it a try. You won't find a better deal. The patties and the fries are all real and fresh. If it was closer, I'd probably eat there more frequently in the future. I'll do my very best not to let them being outta Austin affect my judgement of them too much.

This translated to a really cheap combo that included a double cheese burger, fries, and a shake for $7.05. The quality of the food was on point and the price made it a steal. My son loved his burger and asked to come back again a second time, same day. I promised him a rain check. Even though the place was crowded, the food came out quickly with everything hot and fresh. The place has a retro feel to it. Will definitely be back as regulars.

Thus, we were literally in shock when we entered into the venue and realized that it is a SIT-DOWN RESTAURANT! I didn't think it would be fast food style like Popeye's or KFC. However, I imagined it would be along the line of Cane's, but a little more upscale. My first reaction was, "Aww man, I'm going to have to pay more for something that is already sort of pricey." I'm thinking in terms of tipping. HOWEVER, I actually had a really great time here. The menu is simple, yet unique simultaneously with monthly special burgers and Korean inspired flavors. I LOVE the fact that you can substitute the crispy chicken for GRILLED. I'm all about eating out, enjoying food, but also trying to select better options. Healthy eating doesn't mean boring! This place seems like an American/Korean fusion restaurant, or an Americanized version of Bon Chon. The vibe is really cozy, intimate, and chill. It's a great spot to casually hang out with friends or family. The wait for the chicken was long, BUT it was worth the wait. The food was hot and fresh. The Korean BBQ OG Grilled Chicken Sandwich - It was huge! Even though I am a petite 95 lb lady, I devoured that sandwich. The flavor wasn't an authentic Korean flavor, but it wasn't bad! It was more sour and salty for my taste. I think it would balance out more if there were no pickles, and a mixture of the kimchi carrot slaw + regular mayo based coleslaw. Szechuan Fries - The Szechuan mustard sauce is powerful and incredibly overwhelming. I do NOT recommend that sauce at all. I think if you order these fries, just OMIT that mustard sauce. I felt like all my sinuses cleared up and my eye balls were about to pop out. Dirty Fries - You can't go wrong with cheese fries. I am not a sour person, so I didn't enjoy the pickles on the fries. Our server, Brenna, was INCREDIBLE! She is the main reason why this review is getting a 5 star. She didn't know that it was basically our first time and she still gave us exceptional service. She was friendly, patient, and sweet. We ordered the Szechuan Fries because it was a free offer upon signing up for their rewards program. I told her I didn't like the mustard sauce and she offered to get us the Dirty Fries! I was like, "What?!" The fries were already free, so I didn't expect her to even offer a substitution. ALSO, for the Kid's Meal, she let us know that the side could be substituted for something else at no extra charge. If she didn't make that known to us, we would have had no idea. I'm glad she mentioned it because the boys LOVE mac & cheese, so that was perfect. Also, we were already getting fries, so it helped us to get more variety. All in all, the place is a little expensive, but I had a great time. The service was superb, the food was great, and I noticed that they are involved in the community. I love supporting businesses that give back. Thus, I would recommend trying this place out, even if it's just once!

Boy was I surprised to be seated by a hostess only to glance around to find a bar, enclosed patio and semi open kitchen. Did the meal itself differ from its fast casual counterparts? Not by much, but the offerings were more robust. I love to see pie on the menu alongside shakes, and while Mac and cheese and fries are welcome, orange chicken, Korean spices, broccoli salad, collards and heavenly eggs are a welcome change of pace. Our first trip (dine in) was about a 4-5 star experience. I waiter was not the most attentive and the food took quite awhile but the experience was positive enough for me to return. The second trip was a drive thru experience and it was...not as pleasant. Our service wasn't the best, our attendant less than enthused to be doing their job. A matter of fact, I felt like I was bothering her by ordering. While my food was fine, my sandwich came without napkins and again the food (one sandwich) took quite awhile. I'm unsure if I'll return with so many options in the area, but I'm glad I experienced them twice!

Heard about the improved Whopper and with the superb CEO's rebuttal of McDonald's CEO silly attempt to do a review, I had to try it. Hadn't been to a Burger King for years and today, I thought it was a good time to try it on a Sunday. I made the mistake of coming to Burger King #4458. There was no one in front of me in line so I thought I would get quick service. No one said hello or acknowledged me or said they would be right with me. After about 4-5 minutes a young lady named Pia finally walked up to a register. I smiled and said hello and she did not. Just stared at me. I then said I am happy to be back and look forward to trying the improved Whopper and she just stared at me again. It felt cold and I clearly can see she did not value my business nor did she care about what I was saying nor the quality of my experience. I don't expect Michelin star service at a Burger King, but c'mon, show a little respect and courtesy or find a different job to work at. I told her the meal was for dine-in and when my number was called, they put it in a to-go bag. I asked for a tray so I could enjoy my meal on clean surface but Pia and a young man said they did not have any trays. Well, it is what it is and the lemonade was out as well, so fingers crossed the Whopper would be good. The Whopper was pretty good but not like it used to be but it definitely was better. The fries were mediocre and that's all I have to say about the food - but it was the indifference and lack of effort from the staff that left me feeling insulted and disappointed with my return to Burger King. I gave you another chance and because of Pia and her team, I feel like I wasted my time and money and I won't be back. I asked Pia for the franchise's contract info and she just walked away from me. Here is the customer service number thats on my receipt (see photos) and everyone who felt like me should call: 832-717-3585
