This is the slowest moving line for "fast food" I've ever experienced. I'm sitting here so I figure I'll do something. I'm sure the food will be amazing since I'll be starving by the time I get it. Everyone here is super nice, but they almost always get my order wrong. Whether it be forgetting to give me my side of coleslaw, giving me extra crispy recipe when I ask for original. They mess up so much on their orders it seems almost as if they do it on purpose to make money off of customers when it comes to not giving you the food items you paid for. Either that or their workers are just that incompetent, but I doubt that. Of course I'm too lazy to go back down to get my order corrected. Usually I check to make sure everything is there but I looked at the boxes the meals came it and they looked stuffed, so I assumed my extra items were in there per usual. (sigh) I visited this establishment because my travel partner does not need much in the way of fine dining... "Whatever makes a turd.".... I rest my case... Anyway, we stopped in here after visiting the Muku'u Market in a hurry to get back to our rental to catch the next football game. We walk in, and I know what I'm getting myself into. Less than mediocre food at best, and not a dang bit of it will benefit my body (which is a temple, mind you), but I take one for the team... Not a soul can be found in this place and there seems to be one lonesome middle aged woman working. We order. He orders a meal and I order a combo. Now, for those of you not fluent in the way of fast food, it's important for you to know that the difference between a combo and a meal is one comes with a drink. We found this out after the lady handed us one cup and said flatly, "Sorry, only the combo comes with a drink." Right. Thanks. The food was terrible (hey, what do you expect from a KFC?!) and the service was par for the course. Though I definitely don't fault the employee completely, it's definitely KFC's fault. While they may have started off as a growing company looking to feed the hardworking peoples of America quality, health-benefiting fried chicken and accompaniments, they have turned into a soulless, mass-calorie production machine with the hardworking peoples of America getting fat and their shareholders getting fatter. Bought a take out for lunch. My wife and I went down to the beach, set up everything looking forward to a good lunch. What, no forks to eat mashed potato and coleslaw!! I would think putting eating utensils with a meal is pretty routine. Luckily manager Jackie was sympathetic and understanding. Got a free meal for next time. The lady at the window (the one that looks like she been sampling everyone's order) needs an attitude adjustment. No hi, bye, thank you, or go to hell. Get a new job if you don't like it. We walked in on an insanely busy Friday night. We expected our experience to be a disaster. However, the young energetic crew got us our order quickly and accurately. We got the $28 Fill Up which was enough to feed 4 people. The chicken, Cole slaw, mashed potatoes with gravy and biscuits were fresh and perfectly prepared. 1st and last time I'll go there. Ordered 3 spicy tenders combo. Server put the plastic meal container sideways into the bag. I thought it was strange but thought it must be sealed well. When I took it out of the bag I got a big drip of that red spicy greasy sauce on my work pants. I realized it wasn't sealed well and saw that most of it went through the bag onto my car seat! Got most of it out but not all of it. Why are you serving food with liquid sideways if your containers don't hold it in? This has to be happening to other people. I work locally in Hilo and go out for lunch often. I'll never go there again. read more

Went to KFC today (11/22/19) and was completely disappointed. We ordered a Big Box with 5 pieces of tenders and I only had 4 pieces, had to go in and get the other one. Also ordered the Big Chicken and Waffle Basket; we were told it was 2 thighs and a drum, and we added on a side (mashed potatoes and gravy) for $2 extra and what we got was 2 drums, 1 thigh, and we didn't get our side (we did get the waffles). This location has been going downhill in customer service and I think we'll be taking a long break from KFC. read more

The chicken (breast) was slimy, dried out and tasteless. It smelled old. I did not finish eating it. The small portion of cold slaw was good. It seems like it would cost less to give larger portions of mashed potatoes rather than use more plastic designing containers to go up on the bottom so they will contain less. Plastic must be cheaper than mashed potato flakes. I had not eaten at a KFC in years. I remember it as having small portions of cut up chicken, but it tasted good. This was horrible! read more

Absolutely disgusting. Our chicken was soggy, smelly and inedible. I think if I ate this chicken tonight I would have gotten very sick, it was OLD. I want a refund. I've been calling them since my husband picked it up and no one picks up the phone. Terrible place. Spent $30 and I can't even eat the food. I would have him go return it but we live 30 minutes away. Food was normal KFC fare but was a total rip off for the price. Ordered a 3 and 8 combo and the #3 didn't even include a drink. At 18.00$ for a fast food lunch for 2, I like to at least get a drink.
