Not many food options so came here. Ordered online for 3-topping large pizza, totaling a bit more than $14. Had issues ordering for pickup later, so I waited about 15 minutes before pickup time to order. When I arrived, it was ready and hot. Order got timed out, re-logged in, and didn't see it erased the free pizza I was using points on and got charged 30.00, they could not help change back to points, ok it happens. It looks like they were training someone today and were slammed around 7pm. We waited 45min to be told they burned our pizzas so we would have to wait a bit longer. Not only did we get a free pizza to let our kids eat while we wait, they also threw in a free soda and breadsticks. That made our night! I understand accidents happen but that new employee and manager turned my 3 hungry kids night around with the extra goodies. Kudos to some awesome customer service skills. This location is a no go. Used the app to order, with curbside. Sent my poor husband to pick it up. When you dial the Pizza Hut number you get a direct line to the Mainland this lady took our order over the phone and said that the order was placed and would be ready within 15 minutes while it takes me 10 minutes to drive into Keaau Pizza Hut upon arriving to get my pick up order the cashier informed me that the order wasn't placed and I needed to wait another 10 minutes I was not impressed needless to say I was very irritated this was 8:38pm maybe I should have just gone to lil Caesars and taken that xtra drive on top of that I needed to pay $1.75 for ranch dressing you would think I'd be able to get that free for the Thought I'd give Pizza Hut another try well it got worse I ordered a 12 piece chx Parmesan bone in an order of garlic bread at 7:15 pm on 5-30-20 in Keaau paid for it on the phone order asked for curbside service when I got there I called the 643-1111 number 6 times out of that I got 3 ppl to answer my call told them I was here for curbside service told me they be out shortly which turned into a half an hour wait this is the last time I'd order anything from them I'd rather take the drive into Hilo And go to dominos or lil Caesars response time would have been better I'm done with Pizza Hut!!!!!!!! read more

Cardboard with cheese. The stuffed crust edge was good but everything below that was cardboard, maybe a 1/16 inch thick. I like thin crust but this is so thin and tastes like cardboard. No flavor to the crust. Can't wait for Big Island pizza to reopen, so worth it. read more

One of those that you just pick up and take home, because there's only one table outside for you to eat it on, if that's what you want to do. The location of this Pizza Hut is pretty prime, in Kea'au Shopping center. If you work in Hilo and live in Pahoa (or vice versa), you can order your pizza when you leave work, and pick it up on the way home. Another perk about their location is that they are right next to Foodland. You can order your pizza, go shopping for groceries, and then come back to get your pizza when you finish shopping. We only interacted with one cashier, and she was nice and polite, knew what she was doing. As far as the pizza goes, we got a few personal pan pizzas, and they were good, typical Pizza Hut pizzas, nothing bad to say about them. This was the first time I'd ever been to this Pizza Hut and I see no problem having to come back here again to order pizza. read more

I feel like this place is the best kept secret on the Big Island. Pizza is really hit or miss in Hawaii. Can be good or bad and can be ridiculously expensive (paid $32 for a yucky pie in Ocean View). We go to the Hut regularly and order the Big New Yorker for $11.99. It's an extra large thin crust pizza topped with cheese and pepperoni that is pretty darn good and always ready in less than 15 minutes, which is almost unheard of in this state! High ly recommend for decent pizza, fast and cheap! read more
