Alfredo Delight 10/2023 (everyone was ordering it!)
    Keith B.

This was a local joint recommendation from our hostess, Francesca. We were craving pizza, and landed a nearby parking spot. It's not like it's some five-star resort joint - this is a long time running pizza parlor, and if you have a problem with that, then maybe you should stick to eating at home? We ordered, grabbed our drinks from a cooler, and waited while more people came in and ordered and sat nearby, and others came for their orders. Clearly Alfredo Delight is often ordered - I swear every pickup was for that pizza. The dough is a little thicker, with flavorful toppings, for sure, served with a side of garlic butter, but like, REAL garlic butter, not that artificial Papaya John's crap. We were able to eat half of each pizza, and they offered to box it to go for us. It's a hole-in-the-wall, but they make good pizza.

Awesome Pizza, Friendly Folks, Great Prices Boogie Woogie is awesome! The pizza is perfect--crispy delicious crust, super fresh toppings, sauce and vegan options. The owners are super sweet and make you feel right at home. The price is great for the quality. If you're looking for tasty pizza, nice people, and good value, definitely check out Boogie Woogie in ole' Pahoa. Can't recommend enough!

Huge pizza 5 toppings for under $25! Cash only, give them time to cook, BYOB too. Open late, can be busy, parking is non existing, but with going that's for sure.

18" pizza. Huge. On special $19.99. Wow! 7/17/23

Nice little shop. Good pizza, great prices. Sat outside in the cool Pahoa weather. Check them out.

    Cash wrap

When we first moved here, we really loved this place and we looked over all of the clutter in the dining room area. However, it's gotten to a point where I just no longer feel comfortable eating here. During Christmas they had so many decorations everywhere covered in dust. I don't know what's going on at the cash wrap, but they have this fish tank where the fish were dying of little Water and even a customer was complaining like please do something about this! The owners are brother and sister and they do not agree on the decor. The brother merely answered that's my sister's problem. I was really shocked. It was disheartening to watch fish, gasping for their last breath of life while waiting to pay... they do turn out some amazing tasting pizza, but the management really needs to take a hard look at the place. It's just not inviting. Really needs to Declutter and clean! Total kitchen nightmare and for that I'm sorry, but I can't trust the food is clean either. They're sadly way more competition in the area now and I just don't feel like I need to go back there...garlic butter, or not.

Nice custom pizza. Worth the extra money... expect 45 minute wait. Downtown so parking can be hard to find on street

Right out front. Mid-day. Full view. Look, I'm not some anti-smoker who doesn't get it. I smoked for years. I understand the craving. But this? Lighting up a cig right in front of your own restaurant, in uniform, where customers are pulling in and families are trying to grab dinner? It's nasty. It sends a terrible message about the hygiene, professionalism, and overall care this place has for its image... and more importantly, its customers. Even if the food's fine, this kind of thing is enough to make me skip it altogether. Smoke around the corner. Out of sight. Away from where people eat. It's not that hard. Do better.

The papaya salad was so fresh and at ($9) for a whole quart so affordable and easy to share with friends. The papaya stand was my favorite one as she makes the salad fresh in front of you. The purple tapioca potato pudding was so dense and interesting, really rich and lovely to try. I was also blown away by the macadamia nut croissant ($6), the croissant itself was fine, flaky and well baked, but the macadamia nut butter frangipane filling for the croissant stole the show. It was so decadent and sweet I savored every bite of the croissant! The marinated goat cheeses from the goat cheese stand were the most delicious goat cheese I've had in my life. Super creamy, luscious, silky and with interesting flavors. I grabbed two spicy goat cheeses I was so obsessed. There is so much to see eat and try!
