One star, and it's not for the pizza. I pulled into the Pahoa Pizza Hut parking lot today... wasn't even planning to eat there, just stopping next door... but was immediately hit with something gross: a woman in full Pizza Hut uniform, maybe the manager, standing by the handicapped parking spot and the Pepsi machine, lighting up a cigarette. Right out front. Mid-day. Full view. Look, I'm not some anti-smoker who doesn't get it. I smoked for years. I understand the craving. But this? Lighting up a cig right in front of your own restaurant, in uniform, where customers are pulling in and families are trying to grab dinner? It's nasty. It sends a terrible message about the hygiene, professionalism, and overall care this place has for its image... and more importantly, its customers. Even if the food's fine, this kind of thing is enough to make me skip it altogether. Smoke around the corner. Out of sight. Away from where people eat. It's not that hard. Do better. read more

Horrible!!! Called to check up the status of the pizza order because the status was not updated. Girl answered chewing gum talking super ghetto and said pizza was on its way and driver will be calling soon to get better directions it's been over 30 minutes waiting for his call! don't order through Pizza Hut pahoa use dominos! They're wayyyy faster and better service! read more

The service is good and the staff friendly. I think they are a bit more expensive than the others and lacks the variety that others offer. A few more options would definitely help. read more

Ordered pizza on the app for the first time.. app was glitching and wen my orders came my pizza was made wrong and my pizza was smashed... called to complain about my pizza they wanted the whole pizza back and they would have gave me another pizza but with less ingredients cause they ran out!!! SCHOOL LUNCH PIZZA IS BETTER THAN THIS. This might be the worst Pizza Hut of all time, the big New Yorker was neither cut nor did it have sauce. The pizza huts ones in Hawaii are horrible in general but they have a monopoly in most of the state on pizza, and entirely on the big island it's only them and dominos. With that being said the big New Yorker was neither cut nor did it have sauce. It was INEDIBLE...an infant could cook a better pizza than this if they were blind. And you guys have an industrial grade pizza oven...I could tell by the band of bumbling bafoons working that nothing was gonna go right and I was entirely correct. I've thrown away so much money going to horrible pizza huts here and I'm officially done. Next time instead of giving Pizza Hut $20 you can just save the gas and burn $20 with a lighter at home. read more

I ordered a large pan supreme and a large pepperoni lovers pizza for contactless pickup. I put the order in at 5:30 pm for pick up at 6:30. I arrived at 6:25pm and did not get my order until 6:45. It was dark by the time she handed the order to me in the car. So stupid of me to forget my own rule of always checking the order before leaving. Neither of the pizzas were what I ordered. Both were stuffed crust. The so called Supreme was void of ham, mushrooms and pepperonI. For being 15 minutes late out the door the bell pepper and onion were over cooked and looked old There wasnt one slice of pepperoni on the second pizza. Not ONE. It was supposed to be hand tossed. Never again. Wonder who got the pizza's I ordered or do they just not know how to make the pizza's? read more

This is the worst Pizza Hut. You never know what you will be picking up or have delivered. The pizzas is normally dried and the top over cooked. A couple times I ordered extra cheese because it's always lacking so I will pay for extra cheese. I am charged for extra cheese but still get the same amount of cheese. I order the garlic bread with cheese and that was burnt. But the worker tells me that's how it's suppose to be. Hopefully things will improve then I can come back to edit my review. read more

I just ordered two of the "New York" pepperoni pizzas. It says XL 1 topping pizza for $9 or something, I got a coupon in the mail advertising it. Anyways when I got them home I tried to take a bite and it was literally inedible. I couldn't tear it with my teeth and I eat ice cubes all day, no problem. So that's saying something. Ordered "The Edge" pizza. What I received was barely edible. Pizza is supposed to have a crust - this "crust" was almost nonexistent at about 1 millimeter thick. It's so disappointing that Pizza Hut Pahoa delivers only to the upper portion of Hawaiian Beaches. We waited so long to finally have a pizza delivery in our neighborhood to just find out we are "out of reach" even though we are just 10-15 min away. Giving two stars because the food is alright whenever we order pick up and the staff is really friendly. Taking three stars out because there is zero convenience in ordering a pizza when it cannot be delivered to your address. We would certainly order more often even if we had to pay an extra fee for delivery. I truly hope Pizza Hut Pahoa changes their delivery policy sometime soon. Now waiting for Domino's Pizza to open up and see what they will offer us. read more
