This place needs two things right away. First, they need a visit by the Health Inspector as the restaurant is filthy. Second, and more importantly, they need new management. I went to order and the employees were all running around in pure confusion. One employee had to be told step by step what to do by another employee, which indicates a lack of or subpar training. The employees didn't even wash their hands, not a single time I was there. One employee went to was his hands and there were no hand towels above the hand washing sink. The floors and lobby were filthy, and the food tasted like the deep frying oil hadn't been changed in over a year. If I were a betting person, I would bet that this place would be closed after a single visit by the Health Inspector. I couldn't say if they made my order right or not, after witnessing their complete lack of hygiene I walked out, came home and wrote this review the following morning. Drove 20 minutes one way to place an order. I hate going somewhere right before they close so I planned to ask what would be easy for them to throw together. didn't get the chance though. pulled into the drive thru as a car left the speaker and went to the window for their order. it was 8:48, 12 minutes before closing. they must've seen me pull in and changed the automatic message on the speaker to say they were closed. every light on, menu lit up, and a car waiting for food. The food itself is standard KFC fare. The wait is usually longer than it should be. There were three cars in front of me, and it took a solid 15 minutes to get my food. From what I could see, the eldest person working there was under 20 yo. This only concerns me there was a lot of joking on the line. I ordered the 20 fill up, original. I saw the guy fill my stuff in the various containers that weren't prefilled and then set them on the counter. There was a kid taking orders and another taking money and handing out orders. After completion, my order sat on the counter 4+ minutes before the guy handing out orders bagged it up and handed it to me. I used to go 2-3 times per week before COVID. They kept closing off and on because of staffing shortage after that and for the last 2 years. The quality has dropped a lot. I don't go there as much (maybe every 3 months). But my last 3 visits the chicken tasted funny. It was apparently not cooked enough, or hand unclean hands preparing it. All three times I had sour smelling and tasting burps for 2-3 days and explosive diarrhea. And so did my friends who ate it with me. I filled out their surveys and was never notified by mgmt. Warning to prospective customers... this store is got to be the worst of all fast-food restaurants in Hamilton!!! I have not visited this store since they changed ownership. I drive by it all the time and the drive-thru always has a huge line, cars seem to sit for a while too! Had a gnarly craving for chicken this evening so I stopped at the store only because their dining room was open. The guy taking orders (not a young kid, and his name might be Matthew) did not know what was happening!!!!! I had to walk him through taking my $30 order correctly. Waited for my to go meal for twenty-five (25) minutes. The wait was entertaining though, I marveled at the cluster that the cashier and the only one other person at the counter were so obliviously creating. In any case, this store's prices are through the roof!!! My $30 order was for an 8-piece meal (dang cravings). Other customers dining in were also upset at the price of their individual meals, and the ineptitude of the cashier. We ALL agreed, WE ARE NOT GOING BACK!!!!!!! TO THIS KFC STORE OWNER: there used to be a system that made customers feel valued. In this system, our hard-earned money was welcomed at all sorts of establishments because that money allowed for stores to stay in business and provide a lively hood for owners and their employees. Post pandemic, the system is no longer there!!!! Do not use the "employee shortage" excuse to mistreat/abuse your customers. When I entered the drive through line, I sat in line for 10 minutes while every employee in the building was sitting in a car smoking and talking with each other. Then I finally got my food, and they got both burgers wrong, and one of the boxes fell apart as soon as it was picked up. Unacceptable. read more

It's KFC; the food is standard kfc food. But what made it better than an average visit was the employees. I think it was the manager who took our order (tall thin guy with a bald head) and we had a small problem but he went above and beyond to correct our issue and made sure we were satisfied. We place 3-4 orders 2-3 time a week for work. Today, after getting back to work, we found 2 chicken littles that were not cooked thoroughly. When I called about it, I was told that they're all cooked at the same temp so they couldn't be undercooked. I was also told, if I wanted them replaced I'd have to bring them back in. I explained we were already back at work and couldn't run back in at that time. Pretty much the attitude is, oh well! No one here is interested in ordering from them again after this. read more

The food is OK at KFC, but my main problem is that the portions are too small and the prices are way too high. It's an OK price for a family meal. I remember getting a 6 piece recipe bite meal thinking I was going to get a good deal, and all I got were these wimpy little chicken bites, they definitely looked a lot bigger in the picture. Their customer service is something that could improve, on a seperate occasion I went through the drive trough, I was told by a female voice to take my time, and before I had even decided the same voice but sounding more rushed told me to "take my time". The chicken we received was completely raw and rubbery. I feel like I've given KFC a lot of chances but continually get poor food and service, in other cities I've lived in the KFCs always run out of chicken halfway through the lunch rush, and customers have to end up waiting a good 15-20 minutes. I'll just PASS this location and head right next door to Albertsons for some of their fried chicken. 8 Piece Meal, 4 Rolls, and 1lb of Macaroni/Potato Salad or Coleslaw. 5.99 on Mondays and 8.99 the rest of the week. read more

Stopped by later on a Sunday because they were jam packed all day! Ordered their $20 fill up option - which I hope they keep cuz what a deal - and it was smooth sailing from there. Gentlemen taking order over intercom was easy to understand and courteous, he also took payment and was just as friendly at the window. We got home to such a tidily packed bunch of food and the order was totally right. Everything was so nice in there; topped off potatoes, full gravy that wasn't leaking, fresh cold coleslaw, and crispy chicken that was hot and delicious. Biscuits were nice and steamy too and not mushy. Perfect KFC meal for a great price and really great service, can't ask for more than that. read more

BEWARE AND BOYCOTT! Worst customer service in the town of Hamilton, Montana! My family and I were the only customers at the drive thru and as I was waiting for the food, I was waiting to receive a call from my mothers Dr. She is in the hospital and this could have been the call notifying us of her passing. I asked the employee to give me a moment while I was fumbling the food and the phone when the manager "ED" walked up to the window and berated me for wasting his time, shoved the food in my face and told me that I was rude for taking the call. He was most sarcastic and condescending. I took the time to go into the restaurant and explain the situation. That my mother was dying. He yelled at me that my mothers dying is "my problem", "not his" and than said with contempt," have a nice day and don't come back." He informed me that he is a great manager of 25 years and that I wasted 3 minutes of his and his employees valuable time. Considering that 50% of these YELP reviews are 1 star, I don't believe "Ed" has a clue how to run and manage a professional establishment. I will ask everybody that I know to boycott this establishment until "Ed" gives me a sincere apology or is fired for breach of ethics. read more
