The water nozzle on the soda machine had Hi-C leaking into it, so my daughter didn't want to drink the water. I also witnessed a young girl get sick and vomit on the carpeted floor. Her mom was understandably overwhelmed and went to the front counter to ask for a cloth or something to clean it up. She stood there for about 20 minutes waiting to be acknowledged. When a worker finally brought her a cloth, they handed it to the mom and had her clean up the mess herself. I understand that it's an unpleasant situation, but I do feel that staff should have handled the cleanup. This is especially true since it was on a carpeted area. The mom had already cleaned up most of the mess with napkins, so there weren't any chunks or anything like that, but I still didn't think it was very sanitary for her to have to clean it herself. Overall, the food and experience were just okay, but the cleanliness and customer service during our visit left something to be desired.

When I arrived, the eastbound right lane of 28th Street was backed up at least a couple of blocks with stopped cars waiting their turn to enter the drive thru. I'm not a drive thru person so I luckily found a parking space and saw a few empty tables inside. I ordered the usual chicken tenders and instead of fries, I tried dirty rice as a side item. The chicken was very lightly battered and very, very tasty. There are a variety of sauces you can order. I stuck with the basic honey mustard. It was good as well. Next time, the peach honey pepper will be my choice. As excellent as the chicken was, I was blown away by the biscuit that comes with the tenders. Light and fluffy, I'll take this over a bun or Texas toast any day. I wasn't real impressed by the dirty rice so will likely go with fries next time. You can order directly at the counter or use one of the terminals to the right of the counter. Even though there was some available seating, the restaurant was packed with people picking up carry out orders. It was definitely a well controlled chaos. My order was ready less than five minutes after ordering. As far as I know, Bojangles has been open less than a week. It looks like they hired and trained a good staff. I'm a sucker for breakfast chicken biscuits. I'm sure I will have one here quite soon! BONUS: it was pretty busy when I ate here and when I took my coat off, my wedding band must have come off as well. When I realized it was missing, I recounted where I had gone and called Bojangles asking them if by chance they found a ring. Sure enough, a staff member saw it in the floor and had it secured in the office. Very grateful for that.

The biscuit is soft and delicious, the chicken had a nice kick to it and it's REAL chicken. The Bo Rounds are amazing hash browns with a bit of onion flavor. The Bo sauce has a bit of more radish flavor and the Peach Honey Pepper sauce was sweet with a little kick. I really liked dipping my Bo Rounds in it. For those of you complaining that they don't have bone-in chicken, there's a Popeyes like 1/4 of a mile away. Get over it. I will definitely be back to try other menu items.

Check out the menu (they also serve breakfast!), grab a tray, order your food, grab a pie or dessert, order your drinks, pay, grab a table or booth, wait for your order to be called over the speaker, bring your food back to the table, and enjoy! When finished, leave everything at the table and they take care of it. Family really liked their hamburger and mushrooms and Swiss burger. Can come with lettuce, tomato, and/or chopped onion. Make it a meal with a side and a drink. I enjoyed the grilled chicken sandwich and it was cooked great, tender, and flavorful with mayo and ketchup. I would have normally ordered it with lettuce and tomato but have been avoiding fresh veg everywhere. I would definitely order this again. The onion rings were great and the fries were refract to eat with our burgers and sandwiches. You can grab a ketchup bottle from the counter and have to ask for mustard. They carry Pepsi products, orange Crush and Dr. Pepper as fountain soda. They also have iced tea and use pellet sized ice. Pies - I was excited to see another review about the pies and had such a hard time decided between them all. Decided on the cherry pie and strawberry pie. The cherry pie was fine. I didn't like the strawberry pie because I could taste whatever powder they used and couldn't get over it.
