I am a dasher I was there on Thursday April 23 there were 3 employees working they were really busy. One employee was clueless HOWEVER I think she was the manager colored lady long hair SHE was the BEST never lost her cool stayed focused even offered me a drink for my wait. I lost a point with DD for my order being late but I don't care this woman rocked!!!! I felt sooo bad for her she did everything with a smile! If she is not the manager she should be btw this was during lunch. read more

Stay away! Eaten here several times and given them multiple chances, but this is the most dysfunctional and poorly run fast food joint around. Every time the chicken is overcooked, biscuits are hard, sides have been sitting forever. Don't waste your time, Lees flat out, kicks their butt in every way shape or form and it's 10x better.... taste, freshness, and overall staff experience. read more

Went through the drive through on Sunday around 12:30pm.. ordered a 3 piece meal white and a pot pie. $25!! No receipt given, machine broke as answer. Got home, no mash potatoes, Pepsi was cherry (I don't like cherry) checked price on line (see picture) Returned to see the manager (same woman that took care of us at drive through) explained the details. No apology, she stated the location price is higher than online? Offered an order of mashed potatoes. Nope- said I don't want anything and will never return to this location if that's your resolution. She said, "that's the crazy price of eating out these days, have a blessed day!" Wow, never again will I step foot in this or any KFC as far as that goes! read more

KFC - Online order $5 less? - Fast Food Near Me - Fort Wayne, Indiana

Get a clue, owners/managers!!! Your restaurant is a disgrace. Horribly slow drive thru. And if you go inside, expect to be greeted by blank stares from employees. Chicken is bad. We got sick the first time we visited. Stupidly, we went back again, and although we didn't get sick that time, the chicken was so bitter (old oil?) that we threw most away. read more

Go to this KFC if you want to be treated like absolute crap and eat nasty old food!!! This place deserves 0 stars and needs to be shut down! What a disgrace! The woman who runs it is a SCAMMER and probably all the employees are her relatives because they seem to do whatever they want. They regularly close earlier than the posted time and they act like you are inconveniencing them by even going there They just give you this blank stare when you come in. The food is always dry and old and they are always out of something. read more

A cup of Cole slaw cost more than a piece of chicken. All prices too high.service ok, but you have repeat order at the window

I stopped my this KFC on a whim. I was reminiscing about my adolescence and how my family loved a weekend KFC run. The service here, especially the drive thru, was A1. The team members were polite, courteous, and not rushing me by any means. I didn't go in, but the parking lot was clear of debris and the outside appeared clean. I opted for a 3pc regular chicken with mashed potatoes. While it was fresh and edible, it lacked that "zing" I member as a child. It wasn't a horrible meal. But it wasn't as good as my childhood memory either. The cost was $13.00 and the meal did include a drink. In a pinch, I'd return, but it isn't necessarily a first thought quick meal location for me. read more

Service is horrible. Was called and fat bitch by the drive thru workers because I said it was going to be a minute when they asked what I wanted in the drive thru. read more

I was in Fort Wayne after doing some grocery shopping at a nearby Kroger and I was hungry. Right next to it was this KFC... and I am always up for some fried chicken... especially the Colonels version with his secret recipe with seven herbs and spices... So i went and ordered at their drive thru. There was this older lady who took the order and gave the food. She was possibly the kindest older lady I ever met and one of the friendliest drive thru workers I have ever encountered. Truly super kind. The food was hot and tasty! The service, though, was what was special. Hope this KFC treats her well, that woman should teach how to talk to customers. read more

I don't know why we went back, the portions are so small now, we definitely won't go back. Go to chick filet and get decent portions.

do no go to KFC on Dupont Rd, the manager there is stealing money from drive thru. Friday night around 7:00 pm they we thru the drive thru and they make you wait in the back by their service door for your food and they do not come out, if you tell them they keep making excuses and hoping you will drive off after 20 minutes. We were there for a very long time never got our food, went back to the window and the manager said she couldn't give our $30 exactly back to us. After we were there another 10 to 15 minutes and wouldn't leave she pulled out that exact $30 we gave her out of her bra! WARNING DO NOT GO THERE! read more

Updated 5/09/23. Ordered thru the mobile app a bucket of extra crispy chicken. Oh man was the chicken good. Tender hot juicy and surprisingly not vet greasy. It didn't last long with my group. Such a far cry from the horrible chicken sandwhich and nuggets we got the last time. But still giving it three stars because the employees are never friendly and they are so skimpy in their condiments such as ketchup, which they now charge .20 cents for, and salt pepper packets that it irritates me. Also they give you 1-2 napkins for an entire bucket of chicken and asking for more is like pulling teeth. So they redeemed themselves on the food but let's try to work on customer service with a smile people! read more

Went there for carry out tonight. The new chicken sandwich was excellent! Also had two chicken drumsticks that were also tasty. I noticed that many of the reviews are pretty dismal but our experience was ok! The service was good and the drive through was quick and snappy! I can't comment about the interior and how this location is managed but the service person wore a mask and was cheerful! So I'm going out on a limb and giving them 4 stars! read more

We stopped here on our way home from a trip. Once we got home the gravy was water with little color, chicken was super dry, Mac and cheese was old like under heat lamps for many hrs. Our worst experience ever at a KFC read more

I love this location they are always friendly and fast the other locations in town are slow always missing items but not on DuPont !!!

Service was horrible for those who chose to go inside. We were actually told it didn't matter how long we have waited for our food because they only get graded for the drive-thru. She then cleared the lobby order screen making the kitchen staff come out to get our receipts so they could fill the orders. Some peoplecwas waiting for over 25 minutes. read more

i live in a neighborhood close to this kfc. i have never gotten a decent meal. something is very wrong at this place. i have always loved fried chicken and had high hopes for this place. last time i actually just threw the food away. you need a new manager or something needs to be done to make this place ok. please make changes here and i promise to come back. until then, i will never go back.. read more

The people working were really nice and the food was amazing!!! I would definitely go here again.

One car in the parking lot, one table dining. No buffet anymore. Weren't even sure it was open. The counter person was very nice and apologized for our complaints but the manager (?) refunded our money without even speaking to us. First, there was none of the peach Mountain Dew on the soda fountain which is why we went there. Second, the chicken sandwich ordered was nothing like any previous time ordered, it was like half a breast, really small, and it looked and felt old and dried up, though the counter person promised us it was fresh. It didn't look appetizing at all, it had hardly any crispy breading on it at all. After that we asked for a refund and left. We will not ever visit this location again. It used to be good, but not anymore. The only reason it gets a star is because of the counter employee. read more

So I ordered 2 of the 3 piece BIG BOXes. Disappointed to say the least. I hate dark meat. I despise thighs. I would have been tickled with wings. But what did I get? ALL THIGHS AND LEGS. Why does it not say ALL DARK? On a normal 3 piece meal it is NORMALLY mixed so because they add a drink they can now give all dark? Why isn't it labeled as all dark. I didn't realize I had to SPECIFY. I have worked at this chain before and all dark meals have ALWAYS BEEN LABELED. read more

The food was very disappointing. We ordered on the mobile app. 4 - 5 piece chicken tender. Lets see the biscuits were hard, we only received 3 dipping sauces. No hutter or honey. The chicken was hard and not fresh. Very little pieces. The french fries were rubbery and cold. Lees chicken is much betrer and we will not be back. My husband's birthday dinner was ruined. We even ordered extra chicken and it was not even good to reheat. It was a big waste of our money. Not worth it . Lost a customer. read more

The kfc on Dupont road is the most disgusting kfc I have ever been to I agreed to wait for fresh dark meat chicken for 13 minutes that was no problem then added fries to my order while waiting the ride home made me nauseous from the smell of old grease. The chicken had barely any meat on the bone and was ineatable. Everything else was old and cold as well. I called the manager to report this because after paying 35 dollars for this nasty food I wasn't to happy. As I told him it was old he argued with me that it wasn't and in the long run literally called me a liar twice instead of doing his job and trying to fix the issue. Don't waste your time or money on this unprofessional discussing place!!! read more

Got Gizzards yesterday, these suckers were so old and dried out. I bet they were on the buffet for hours, so dried out the breading fell off and it was a dried out gizzard, very chewy , very old, cold, I need to speak with a manager. These clowns are lucky I was to tired to drive back and really make a big ordeal about this. unacceptable , I kick myself for not taking a picture of my Gizzards and sending them to corporate KFC. You do not take food off the buffet which People touch and serve it to drive-thru customers. I have a right mind to email some food inspectors and get this place some serious violations. Manager should of fired....I won't be back And that's the bottom line read more

This place used to be my go to, the service is horrendous, they can't even get a order correct. Called and talked to a manager and all I got out of her was sorry and thanks for telling me. Last time I'll be visiting KFC, it'll make a nice location for a real restaurant, can't see them staying in business long at this rate. The only reason I'm giving it 1star is because it's making me. read more

I haven't gone to KFC in a while and today I felt like it so I went to the one by Dupont road today and ordered a chicken sandwich and a bucket of 8 chicken only. The chicken in the sandwich was hard and dry, I asked for 8 pieces dark meats/thighs only and he said ok but I got white meat mixed and only 1 thigh. Very disappointed. No wonder people said Popeyes is way better, better chicken and better service. read more

delicious food quick service felt like there was enough meat for two chicken sandwiches in one best kfc ever

We hadn't eaten at a KFC in probably 20 years and this meal (8 pc regular family meal) reminded us why. Actual chicken wasn't too bad, not great. Mashed potatoes were just plain yuck. Coleslaw was not at all creamy-the dressing ran off it and into everything else and was pretty tasteless, and rock hard biscuits. Considering I could've spent roughly 2/3 less by just getting grocery store chicken meal that would've tasted better, disappointing to say the least. read more

This is the worst KFC I've been to ! This used to be my favorite location but has gone extremely downhill! Staff is slow and lazy , the food looks like it's been sitting there for HOURS, and the trays are all practically empty..... and they do not fill them up or at least add more to them ! Also they have taken so much off of the buffet, there's no more cake, fries, or macaroni . You also have to ask for everything now..... straws, jelly, ketchup, sauces, and everything that use to be out..... the establishment is also very dirty ! The floors and chairs are sticky and seem like they are never cleaned! This KFC is upsetting ! I also found hair in the bread and I found a hair stuck in the chicken as well ! Gross! read more

This restaurant is a disgrace. The entire restaurant needs to be shut down and cleaned. This has been an ongoing problem for years. I have complained before to be told give us another chance it has new management. We stopped going for over a year and returned tonight to find the exact same thing. I am reporting this restaurant to the board of health to be inspected. I wouldn't let my dog eat here. Nothing but kids with attitudes. SMH read more

We went to this location out of convenience after grocer shopping. I was excited to have the great deal of the famous bowl meal with a cookie and drink, and my boyfriend got the $5 fill up 3 chicken strip box. They took the time to ask what sauce he wanted and repeated our order back to us. When we got back to work to eat it there was no cookie in with my meal, my boyfriend had to sacrifice his, and he had received no sauce with his chicken strips. I mean make sure everything is in the box before you close it up! There was not even any honey in the bag to go with the biscuit, is that something you have to ask for? I mean I thought that was how everyone ate them! Very disappointing lunch. If I was not at work, I would have went back to get what was missing. read more
