We love KFC. This is the most mismanaged location I have ever experienced. Last Friday we come through the drive through to be told we cannot order a bucket at all (it's 6 pm). They said they only had legs and they couldn't sell those either. We just left. Today we ordered online ahead. Am 8 piece mix. Picked up and they not only gave us all dark meat but the fries were cold and the chicken on the chicken sandwiches was disgusting. So we had to drive back. Hubby and I went to get a quick Valentines Dinner after getting off of late shifts. Got to the drive thru and the person taking the order was rude telling us they had no crispy or regular chicken. WHAT?!! How do you run a KFC with NO chicken made? Anyway was told the wait would be 30 mins, fine paid for our order at 7:25 pm and went around the front to wait in our car for the food as we were told it would be brought out to us. Upon waiting it started hailing and every employee in the KFC came running to the front of the window phones out and start recording the storm. After about 8 mins they returned, mind you the manager Christine standing there with them, to back around the counter. In the meantime the roof stated to leak. By this time it's 8:15 so my husband goes in to check on our food was told would be an additional 9 mins. Again with the roof leaking all the employees again came out to stand there and look at the roof. The supposed manager running around like a chicken with her head cut off apparently doesn't know how to handle a leaking roof calmly. By this time it's now 8:33 so I go in to see where the heck is our food as my husband and I watched as 3 separate customers came and purchased food and left clearly coming way after us but somehow getting served before us. Once I came in I asked for the manager and a young man told Christine I was there to speak to her and making no eye contact or even stopping to talk to me she walks by and says "I will be with you in a moment". Finally after waiting an additional 6 mins she comes and asks what I need. I tell her we been waiting for our food for a long time and where is it and that I would also like to have some sort of partial refund for the long amount of wait time. She gets aggressively loud and starts pointing to the leaking roof telling me "Do you see what I'm dealing with, you either want a refund or your food because your not getting both". Finally by this time I'm upset and tell her just to give me my food. She goes around to yell at her employees "Get this lady's food so she can get out of here". Clearly not having our food ready still. When she hands me the food she tries to hang on to my receipt which I say "Give me my receipt and what is your name"? She says "My name is Christine and you can call whoever you want have a nice night and don't come back"! This KFC clearly has an issue with service as I see MANY poor reviews specifically with service. Not sure if KFC likes to be a 1 star chain but they clearly need to make an overhaul at this location. I plan on following this up the ladder to corporate headquarters as this was appalling behavior by a so called "manager". I too work in customer service and in my 15 yrs have never talked that way to a customer. This lady is a poor example of upper management and is in the wrong profession. I placed an online order. The order was supposed to be ready at 4:35 pm. I show up at that time and it's not ready. There are a couple of customers waiting to place orders at the counter. I hear the girl behind the counter tell first guy in line they are so backed up, they aren't taking any more counter orders until they get caught up with the orders they already have. She tells him it will take about 30 min until they get caught up. He leaves. Next guy asks what she said, when she repeats it, he says no thank you and leaves. The manager is really nice. She tells the girl, if they don't want to wait, they can go somewhere else. I'm not sure what bothered me more...hearing all this or watching everyone behind the counter working and handling food without any gloves on while touching everything under the sun. 40 minutes after it was supposed to be ready, I get my order. It's been easily three or four years since we've purchased KFC because we moved to Buckeye in June 2018 and I know we haven't had it the entire time we've lived here. I had a craving for fried chicken but instead of going to the deli at Fry's as usual I decided I'd give KFC a shot. After all, as I stated, it's been a while and my 12 year old daughter mentioned that she wanted it some time back. I set up an online account on my phone, placed my order and was good to go. The in-app confirmation indicated that my order would be ready in 11 minutes from the time I placed it. I know I can get there in 7-8 minutes so I took my time. I arrive at the restaurant exactly 20 minutes after I placed my order. Sadly, it was not ready so I had to wait an additional 7-8 minutes (more like 10 because the drive thru was busy). When I received my order I expressed to the young lady helping me that I was concerned about whether or not my order was accurate. She listed the items I purchased and I accepted that and walked out to my car. You know I had to trust but verify! I checked my bags, sure enough they forgot a gravy and all of the sauces that I added to my order so I had to go back and wait again. This time it took five minutes to even be acknowledged. Mind you, I am literally the only living soul in the dine-in area because everyone else is going through the drive thru for fear of the Corona. Then, the other woman - who I assume is the manager based on the way she was giving out orders to the staff - brings me the missing items but not without making it a point to remind me that I only get one gravy with the $30 Fill Up. For the record I purchased an additional mashed potato and gravy order. In total I spent $53.84. I could have saved about $20 had I gone to Fry's. In closing, the food tasted good.... it's KFC! There was 0 customer care. I realize these are trying times and it was busy and I know these good people are underpaid. Nevertheless, it will probably be four more years before I ever go back to KFC, if ever. Not worth the money or the frustration. Thanks! read more

My mother and I came to this KFC with a coupon for a 4pc Tender w/ 2 sides and a biscuit for $7. We sat in the drive through for approximately 5 minutes while they tried to figure out what to do. Apparently, there wasn't an option for a 4pc tender. Instead, unbeknownst to us, the lady opened the sliding window and said "It'll be $8.73." I then asked "Do you know what sides I want?" She said "It comes with Mashed potatoes and coleslaw." I said, "I don't want coleslaw." She said "Okay. So what do you want?" I proceeded to tell her that I wanted the potato wedges instead of the coleslaw and she granted that. I asked for the receipt and noticed she charged us for a 5pc tender and applied an "Open Coupon" of a discounted price of $2.00. This option turned out to be $1 more than what we would have paid. Also, once we looked in the box it was indeed only a 4pc tender. For this reason they get 3 stars solely on the fact that they tried to honor the coupon yet charged us more and gave us the 4pc instead of the 5pc as listed on the receipt. I have been a loyal patron of KFC for decades now. Today might have changed that. I ordered the 12-piece meal, 3 wings, 3 breasts, 3 drumsticks, 3 thighs, mixed original and extra crispy), with three large sides. What I got was not what was ordered. I received a bucket full of original recipe drumsticks and thighs, I asked what had happened and was told that the wings and breasts were out and they were making them now. I asked how long would it take and was informed that it would take 25 mins longer! I tried to work with the girl there and said that I know that more is charged for the wings and breasts so is there a discount for not getting what was ordered? She said she would check, left and spoke to someone with blue hair, and came back and said that she was told no. I asked to speak with a manager. A tall kid came and asked if he could help me. I said I had asked to speak to a manager and he informed me that the manager was not there. That he was the shift manager. So I explained what the situation was and asked for a discount as I was not getting what I had ordered. He informed me that there was no difference in prices and that all the meats were the same price. I asked him why then did the sign above his head charge more for a breast and wing meal than it did for a thigh and drumstick meal? He could not answer me and said there was nothing he could do and walked away. I asked another employee what his name was and was told his name is Zane. So I decided since it would have been a nightmare to get a refund, to write corporate about this incident. Once home, I opened the bucket and found it was worse. They had shorted me two pieces of chicken. This was and is horrendous treatment and business practices and I will make sure that all know what poor quality service and product one will get when they visit this establishment. read more

Just went to this KFC and ordered "2 Smokey mountain BBQ baskets". The Hispanic lady didn't understand me so I repeated myself clearly, she said Okay. I asked, "can I get it with just legs and thighs?" she said, "oh okay, just leg and thigh." I proceeded to get 2 drinks for me and my wife, and a large Mac n Cheese to share. I wasn't given a total, just pull up to the window. I gave her my card, got my food and left. When I get home, I open the bag to find 1 leg and 1 thigh basket! Just 1 basket?! and it doesn't even have all 3 pieces as it should?! Also, it came with just 1 side which initially angered me, but upon reviewing the website, this basket only comes with 1 side now. This ruined my dinner plans with my wife and if the drive wasn't a half hour away, I'd go back and speak with a manager about this. The service was fast. That is one redeeming quality. The 5 piece Nashville chicken, literally had a quarter inch of oil in the bottom of the serving tray. The biscuit could not even be eaten do to it being mush from soaking in the oil. The 8 piece original was old, dry chicken. The sides were fine though. I am sure they could do a whole lot better.
