Horrible, unacceptable customer service. I placed an online order and went through the drive-thru. There was no one behind me, yet I was told at the window that I had to drive around and come back in five minutes. I politely asked if I could wait at the window since there were no other cars and even offered to move if someone came behind me. I was told no and ordered to drive around again, with no explanation. When I returned to pick up my food, I was given the wrong drink. I informed the employee assisting me and asked for the correct drink, or a different option if they were out. She told me that if I wanted something else, I needed to dump my drink, get out of my car, and go inside to get it myself. I asked to speak to a manager and was told she was the manager. She then told me that if I didn't like it, I could call corporate because she was not going to exchange the drink. When I asked for her name, she laughed, turned her head, and pointed to a name tag clipped to her hat. Her name is Christy. She then told me again to get the drink myself, laughed when I asked if she understood what customer service means, said she wasn't going to discuss how she handles customer service, closed the window, and walked away--leaving me sitting there. This was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional from start to finish. I am honestly uncomfortable eating the food after how this was handled. Do not recommend this location. read more

Ordered online took 10 minutes to get there and waited there 21 minutes so 31 minutes to get order. Some parts cold by the time I got it.

KFC on Hooper Ave, Brick. I usually hit the drive-through, but yesterday I ventured inside. The first thing I noticed was that classic bathroom cleaner smell. They have to invent something better than that. The young lady behind the counter was nothing but pleasant. My food came out with minimal wait, I decided to eat in my car. In the back, there are spots under the trees for comfort. I had the four pieces tenders combo, which consisted of four pieces of fried chicken strips, a biscuit, a side of cole slaw, and a drink. The chicken was tender and well portioned, and the cole slaw was fresh and refreshing. The biscuit was a biscuit. Everything was tasty, and I would go there again. read more

Horrible operation. I ordered for delivery because of a promotion offering a free 6 chicken strips. They let me order them, credited the promotion off the total, and then didn't deliver the chicken strips. It's a scam promotion. The order was also missing ALL the sauces, including the ones for the other two meals in the order. They're completely inedible with no sauces at all. Don't order delivery, wait until you can go in and check the order. read more

Closes at 10pm?!?! Meanwhile stores next door like Burger King and Taco Bell are open for business like any normal fast food place. So I have been going to this KFC for the past 15 or so years and my experiences have been getting worse but tonight was the worst one. I got an eight piece bucket ,double wedge fries, 4 biscuits, and a individual side of cole slaw. The fries were cold and burnt, the biscuits are like hockey pucks, dry and hard, and my cole slaw was sour. The chicken was not as hot as normal either but taste wise wasn't that bad. Disapponited I called the store to complain and no one has picked up yet and I have called 5 times. With Roy Rogers now open down Brick Blvd and Chickentown up the street I find no reason to go to this KFC anymore as the owners obviously don't care too much about their product like they used to. The people who work here are very rude and have been a few times, the same girl actually was very rude at the drive thru and also has a bad attitude, my order has been messed up on multiple occasions and inside the actual restaurant looks very dirty and run down. Worst experience ever. Ordered online so as not to have to wait. Get there, go inside wait my turn, ask for my order and the counter person, Sue, tells me they're out of chicken. I was surprised since chicken is all they really sell. Since she couldn't provide an answer as to when my order would be ready, I asked for a refund. Sue got belligerant and told me to go to the Toms River store. Really poor customer service. Then to my surprise, my order is ready. Sue, the counter person looked dumbfounded. This place needs a LOT of work. Went to the drive through the other day to order a bucket of chicken. I asked for 8 piece dark meat bucket. Sorry they said we only have 2 pieces of each. Been there twice. First time waited 45 mins for chicken tenders and potatoe wedges. Food was cold. Second time was just now order potatoes wedges coleslaw and mac and cheese and I got mashed potatoes instead of potatoe wedges. I don't know what the problem is but I'll never go to kfc again. read more

Food was good, but the order was messed up. Ordered a 2-littles meal with medium wedges and drink, a mashed potato bowl, large wedges and asked for honey mustard on the side. It took about eight minutes to get everything, which is kind of long for a walk-in but not a big deal. What got messed up was only one of the littles ever made it into the bag. The other thing was after asking for honey mustard, the employee shows it to me and then puts it back under the counter. I usually check my bag before leaving fast-food places, but I was running a little late and the bag they stuffed everything in was a little small. I'd suggest only going if you have time to wait and it you go over your order carefully before leaving. read more

Dirty Dirty Dirty. Every table needed to be cleaned. The tables were sticky and full of grease. The soda dispenser where the spill over occurs in the tray was full of mold. The sandwich that my husband got, the roll was hard as a rock. I think they are reusing rolls. It's disgusting. I like KFC food but was so disappointed in the condition of this particular restaurant that I will never go back. Cleaning a table should not take that much of an effort. read more

I like KFC enough, but this place seems to make their chicken at 9am, and it's what's there at 8pm. The popcorn chicken is like cold gum sometimes, you really are asking a lot if you want a dipping sauce, and the biscuits are dry and stale(I think that is just my opinion of KFC biscuits, though. I'm a Popeye's guy, so I'm spoiled.) The overall cleanliness is ok, and I find a lot of KFC's that I could give the same review to in other areas and states. If you're a die-hard KFC fan, than this location will serve you fine. The big problem is freshness and speed. There is none of either. Since the next fast food chicken (most of KFC isn't chicken, that's why they are not allowed to use the name Kentucky Fried Chicken anymore, it's game bird) is in Neptune, this is what you're stuck with. Make sure the Manager knows your complaints and maybe it will improve. Overall, I'd say it's a 2.5. If you just have to get some chicken in a somewhat hurry, it'll do. I guess. read more

Well, it's seven months later & not much has changed. Got coupons in mail today. Figured I'd give it another try. Wrong! Staff was telling everyone the $3.99 specials couldn't be ordered until Sunday, but nothing on coupon or front of book said that. People that asked were told it was a "manager's decision". I'm going to email corporate to find out about that. Not going back there & found out the Pt Pleasant store is owned by same person, so won't be going to THAT one either!!! As for the pepper, it's still the same. Again, someone is taking liberties with the recipe by peppering it up! Not everyone needs/likes hot/spicy. read more
