KFC on Benton Road gets credit where it's due: the food was great and the order came out without any real issues. The chicken still delivers that classic KFC comfort factor, and that part of the experience holds up just fine. Walking inside, though, feels like stepping into a time capsule from the 1980s. The interior and exterior both carry that old-school KFC look that many locations retired decades ago. It has a certain nostalgic charm, but it also makes the place feel like it hasn't had a serious refresh in quite a while. Honestly, it almost gives a little weight to the local rumor that many of the older KFC locations around Shreveport and Bossier will be closing before 2030. Service was okay. Nothing rude or problematic, just not especially memorable. The biggest hiccup seems to be the technology side of things. The connection between online ordering and the in-store system clearly needs work. Orders don't flow as smoothly as they should, and it slows things down unnecessarily. All that said, there's still something here worth saving. The food quality is solid and the location has potential. With a bit of modernization, a refresh of the building, and an update to the ordering tech, this KFC could easily bring its charm into the present day instead of feeling stuck in the past. Right now it's a bit of a vintage Colonel... still good, just overdue for a makeover. read more

I arrived in the dark, the store lights were out, and so were the lights to read the menu board. When I reported this to the drive-through employee, she replied that it was automatic and could care less. The parking lot has a big pothole that could damage my car. She didn't care about that either. This whole experience boils down to attitude: she could care less about the customer, she was there to put in her five hours and go home. It was 7:45 and they were already out of every type of chicken except original! She couldn't handle any order that was not a meal with a number on it--totally incompetent. After several times trying to get her to give what I want and her saying it wasn't possible, she seemed to get it, but when I got to the window, she hadn't been listening enough to get hardly any of the order. Her attitude sucked from the beginning. I'm sorry that I was such a burden to her, keeping her from going home. I have eaten at KFC's all over the US, and this is the worst experience I have ever had. I gave up getting what I wanted and ate at Taco Bell instead. I just arrived in Bossier, and I swear I will NEVER return to this KFC again. read more

If you want really dry old chicken this is the place to go. Very consistent on being horrible. So not only dry and old but also if you order a leg you might get a little bitty wing thats cooked all the way through and un edible. I will never go back Im done with this thug run restuarant that can never get the order right. I even verified 2 times about the pieces and still was wrong. I think they just don't care. As a black would say, the racist because my order is always wrong! read more

Ordered the $20 meal deal. Received all items and everything was cooked well. Employees wouldn't interact at all but they weren't rude. Food tasted good. read more

I love KFC. Almost every time I am there, I can't get some items like original wings or they tell me that I can only order 3 or 4. Sometimes they have no wings at all (wow)! You can't get any more than 4 tenders with Nashville hot sauce. It's almost like someone selling food out of their house!! I am the last KFC fan in my family and they are about to lose me. read more

Worst chicken I ever had, old chicken just warmed up, right in front of me one guy brought his chicken back saying it's not a fresh chicken, I was thinking ok mistakes happen but ours was not to eat, we didn't end up in trash , save ur money read more

KFC - Chicken kfc - Chicken Wings Near Me - Bossier City, Louisiana

The sandwich I had was barbecue chicken sandwich. Apparently it's new. I asked them for a side of spicy sauce that comes on the spicy chicken sandwich. They said they don't do that and you can only get it on the sandwich. But they said they would do it this one time. so the service I had was decent today. But the store itself seems dirty and the fried chicken seemed like it had been under 10 minutes fresh. The sandwich was a little big compared to what I imagined it would be. For 7.99 it was definitely worth it. But this location feels like Russian roulette on the cleanliness. The people there are nice but not very attentive and their equipment for drive-through needs to be updated. I hate that KFC is gone so downhill it seems like all the locations here are pretty bad. I honestly recommend not eating here unless you're craving a cheat day and the risk of food poisoning, I guess I've been watching too many leaked videos from employees on TikTok. But definitely a pretty good chicken sandwich and the lady that helped me today was pretty great. Just remember ahead and mess around these parts for a good customer service. read more

KFC - $7.99 not super fresh but still good.new bbq sandwich - Chicken Wings Near Me - Bossier City, Louisiana

Relatively quick and accurate service. The food looked good from what I can see. Just be careful not to get stuck behind a passing train, since that will delay you by a solid ten minutes. read more

It never fails that every time I visit this location I have issues. About a month ago they gave me the wrong order and a few days ago they did the same thing I asked for a breast and she gave me a thigh! The fist time the manager assisted me. Check your order! read more

I dooo love KFC, what can I say? I really love the Monday special which is a $1.99 plus tax chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and cole slaw! Really, it is the best! What a deal! Absolutely terrible!! Chicken tenders were cold and tough with old oil taste and fries and even Mac and cheese had a bitter taste. Have eaten KFC for decades but they have definitely lost my business after picking this order up!! Don't eat here!!! read more

I went at 9:00 and got a 2 piece dark and a famous bowl by itself. I expected everything to be made correctly. But when I got home and took a bit of my chicken it was very greasy. And the fried skin was hard as it had been sitting out for to long. So then I went to eat my famous bowl and there was no popcorn shrimp LIKE THERE IS SUPPOSE TO BE. Instead I got shredded up piece of chicken to take its place. I've worked at KFC before but this is sorry. read more

Like the other reviewer said, they are always out of something, tonight my wife went for chicken strips, and of course, they were out of Finger licking sauce, just like last time...... I suppose we need to remind the OWNER that there is a Zaxby's just around the corner, and they are NEVER out of anything..... don't bother with this KFC read more

It's attractive how the KFC in Bossier City on Benton Rd is the only one that offers 20% military discount on Mondays and 10% on the rest of the days. This is usually my normal stop for lunch on Mondays. Went there today and ordered the $20 fill up box and was told that they don't do military discounts on specials. This left me puzzled knowing that I get the same thing every Monday with no hassle and also it seems that there entire menu is based on specials. I gave them two stars because the manager was nice enough to come to my car and offer me the discount this time anyway. I'm sad to say that I won't be returning to KFC again. I am a retired Army veteran who did two combat tours to Iraq and received two purple hearts. I think that restaurants giving 10% off to those that served isn't that much to ask. By the way, Regio's, a Mexican restaurant on Airline gives a 30% discounts to veterans and those that served and is still serving. Maybe these businesses should learn from them. read more

Food is good but not because of this restaurant. Every time I come here they are out of something. The cashier said we are out of original chicken, do you want crispy instead? Oh, and we are also out of biscuits and sweet tea. This was two hours before closing. Really? They just act like they don't want to work. read more

last night as i left work (starving) thought i would treat myself to KFC. went by for my favorite, original recipe chicken breast with green beans and mashed taters. only comes w one side now, so had to purchase one side - that's fine......but after getting to the house ready for juicy flavorful original recipe....soooooo disappointed!!! tiny tiny breast....ok....but completely NOT TASTY... the chicken was tough, almost like not thoroughly cooked...my dog enjoyed it :-( read more
