Yes, while some locations fall below the standard, this location in Bossier City stands out in the Shreveport Bossier City metroplex. I've never had a problem with these folks in 30 years of living in the SBC. Now granted I did get home one time with an entire EXTRA order of food. So everyone behind me got shafted. Those folks have reason to complain. Not me though. I got free food. The cook times seam to take FOREVER. I mean c'mon. If you want piss-poor service with attitude, this is your place. Only serving one at a time, no thankyou, just attitude after waiting too long in drive through. Overall, I'd say management doesn't care since they aren't making any improvements. 20 minutes for chicken wings and a shake is ridiculous. I wrote this review and don't have my food yet. read more

Warning stay away if it is after 9:00 PM. We made the mistake of using the drive thru. We waited 20 minutes to order and then it was over 15 mins from order to pick up. A number of folks gave up and left the line. Oh and no onion rings and no shakes. The burgers were just OK. This was a live and learn night. read more

Okay, so on a road trip from Albuquerque to Panama City we found ourselves staying the night in Bossier City. We got in late and since they were open 24 hours, we decided to hit up Whataburger.  I didn't think to read reviews beforehand, so I didn't know quite what to expect.  Let me tell you this, if I lived around here I would be at this place, after midnight, on the regular.  Yes.  The wait was long, but for everyone complaining about the 20-30 minutes you'll be here, you are missing out on some awesome entertainment. I mean I can only assume that this place is always this exciting.  First, there was a guy trying to holler at a girl in a red car (seriously, does this ever work out for you?).  I mean maybe that is the way to pick up a girl from the Whataburger parking lot. Maybe that's what Whataburger girls dig. I dunno, I've never had to try that.  Then there was an interaction between a lady in a truck and the lady working the drive through lines. The employee went to verify the truck lady's order and it didn't match up.  So, the employee lady told the truck lady that she had got into the wrong line. To which the truck lady said, "No I'm not in the wrong line, the guy who took the order didn't say what line to get in."  The employee lady stuck to her guns and said "Yes they did. You're in the wrong line".  The truck lady then said "Did you just call me a bitch-ass?!"  The employee lady said "no ma'am I did not". But the truck lady said "Yes you did".   (I'd like to offer an interjection here from this unbiased onlooker...the employee absolutely did not call the truck lady any names. I heard her call her ma'am, but maybe here in Louisiana ma'am means bitch-ass. To be safe I will not call anyone ma'am until I'm out of the area.) The interaction went on for a few more minutes, but man I wish it would have gone on for hours. Finally the truck lady got her order and left. Then it was my turn to have my order verified. It didn't match up. I was in the wrong line. Seriously, how do you know what line to get in? Maybe put up some pictures, or diagrams, or signs. The $2.79 they finally refunded me (money they OWED me) after a year and a half doesn't make us square. I believe all the hours I spent on the phone with customer service over the past several months entitles me to a little more...we can start with the $25 gift card they promised me a year ago that they never followed through on. If they had just refunded my money on the spot like they should have 19 months ago, I wouldn't be here giving them a bad review. But their customer service is a joke...I gave them 2 stars instead of 1 because I DO like their food. But I'm done with Whataburger after this, and not just the one in Bossier City. The first time I ever had waterburger was when I was in San Antonio training for a job. One of the gals in the class was from the area and I swear with her pronunciation of Whataburger, it sounded like waterburger to me, so that's what I call it. I haven't seen any since that time in San Antonio, so I was delighted to see it here. I went thru the drive thru and it was fast enough. The fries and apple pie were perfect. The burger tasted too salty for me, but it was good. This is not something I would want every day, but as a special treat, I am glad this is here and when I come back to Bossier City for work, I will be glad to eat here again. read more

There was a little elderly lady sitting in a booth at this location dressed in the same colors as the Whataburger signs. She was donning teal colored pants and matching belt, pale peachy orange blouse with matching silk scarf tied around her neck, teal earrings and shoes to match her blouse... I'm not kidding! I don't altogether know if this was coincidence, but something tells me it was not. Girlfriend had it going on... LOL! Can you say Superfan??? Every burger joint has em... Krystals, In n' Out, Burger Shack. I'm personally a White Castles Superfan, although I have yet to dress as a walking castle. Anywayz, the burgers and fries are good, but they didn't make me a fan. I wouldn't hesitate to pull into one if I'm on another road trip because it's a very filling burger. I particularly like that they bring your order to your table with a tray of condiment selections laid out like an offering of fine chocolate. Very nice touch! Overall, worth a visit if you're in the area of any of their locations, but not exactly the cleanest place to eat. Tables were clean enough, but had a slightly gritty/sticky feel to the surface which tells me they ARE cleaning, just not properly. read more

During the short staffed everywhere problem they were hustling. I stop at many Whataburger's and have been disappointed at every turn lately ( all stores not just Whataburger ) with everyone needing help. Nicole behind the counter was non stop and on point. Gloves were swapped when they should be and she remained friendly despite being swamped. My food was hot and I was not disappointed. The only stop this entire trip I can say that. The guys at the counter were quite unprofessional. It was disappointing to hear the personal conversation about tag teaming a drunk girl at some birthday celebration. The older man in a brown shirt didn't even discourage the younger guy at the register from what he was saying including the fact the girl was or will be unconscious!! Slowest one ever. I've tried to get food here half a dozen times, could only wait long enough 1/2 the time. One time I sat 20 minutes at the same spot in line. I had to leave or be late for work. I have been to this location several times and every few times I end up waiting 20-30 minutes in the drive thru. People would be waiting at the speaker for 15 minutes before the cashier would take your order. I don't know if it is a staffing issue or if the employees don't care but it is nonetheless unacceptable. I would think twice before going to this whataburger. It really means something when I would rather go to a farther location because I know how long the wait would be at this location. Action needs to be taken, it is either that or management simply does not care and is willing to place a bad taste on this food chain. All in all I do not recommend going here. read more

It's no wonder America struggles with an obesity pandemic when establishments like Whataburger dot the interstate system. All the great fatty-fat foods are on the menu, beckoning hungry travelers to stop in for burgers, fried chicken, french fries, shakes, and jumbo sodas. Then none of those empty calories get burned off because folks are stuck in the car on their respective road trips. We stopped here on our journey from Texas to Georgia. There aren't any Whataburger's in Atlanta so we thought we'd give it a shot. We're not missing anything. Wendy's value menu and Five Guys suit me just fine. The very large associate also mistook our order. My husband said ketchup and mustard only, and his burger came out slathered with mayo. We had to send it back (although the manager was prompt to remake it). Plus at this location, the bathroom to the ladies room locks, so as a road warrior with a small bladder it was infuriating I couldn't take a potty break. We had to drive across the street to McDonald's after eating so I could use their facilities. Guess that just shows me: when it comes to fast food, I need to just stick with what I know. read more

Terrible evening crew at this Whataburger. Night crew is much better, but, it is a Whataburger. Can't expect much. Crew is completely lost if more than 10 people show up to order. You never know what to expect when you travel a lot and looking for something quick to eat. This location was near my hotel. The hotel shuttle drove me there and I got an order to go. Geneva was the cashier. She had a warm smile and great professional attitude. Great frontline person. The manager poked his head out of the door to say hello to a few employees picking up their checks. He is the reason this location is great. This restaurant was Spotless.. Nothing on the floors , in the back or the front .. No food, No debris, old fries or paper.. The floors looked spotless.. counter tops looked clean near soda area.. THAAAAAANK YOU SO MUCH !!!! Service fast, food not so bad I ordered the salad because I had previously had their burger and it was just so so. The tables needed to be cleaned, it was not a busy time of day. My salad was delivered to my table and it was pretty tasty but it was served with those little tiny plastic forks and knives and I had a really hard time cutting the lettuce and chicken. My husband and I are from Kentucky but lived in Texas for several years and are back down this way for work again (in Shreveport) and were sooo excited to get to eat Whataburger again!! This BC location is OK as far as Whataburgers go. I love Whatabrugers but for some reason, this location doesn't have as good as burgers and fries as the location over in Shreveport near Youree Dr. That one has burgers that score 10 stars. My Mom had a chicken burger here last Friday (7-20) and she got really sick. Not sure if it was just her or the chicken was bad but I would stay away from the chicken burgers! read more

My son and I stopped in at the Bossier City Whataburger coming back home to West Monroe, LA and I was so disappointed. I have to say when they put in a Whatburger in Ruston, LA which is close to me I was excited and it was really good up until a few months ago. Now after today with the food we got at the Bossier City restaurant, I can honestly say I won't go back. I ordered a strawberry milkshake and when I tasted it it has this really grainy imatation strawberry taste. It was horrible. I had gotten one from the Ruston Diner when they first opened and they had fresh strawberries not this powdered gritty stuff they are putting in them now. And the bacon that comes on the burger is this pre=cooked crap instead of using fresh bacon and keeping so much cooked and kept under a warmer. I realize pre cooked is faster but it taste like crap. The hickory taste is artificial, and I can't stand it. People, go back to fresh, it doesn't take that long to cook bacon for a bacon cheeseburger. I loved these burgers once, until they started using the pre=cooked hickory tasting bacon but not anymore. It was also very dry and I got everything on it. The fries were the best part. I gave the dogs the rest of it. It also upon my arriving home, made me sick. I had to make a mad dash to the bathroom....I will never subject myself to all this artificial crap. read more

When I called to make them aware "Quita" had an attitude. No apologies offered but plenty of attitude was given. Went back to correct the order and they gave me the wrong order 3 more times.
