The food was EXCELLENT! The onions rings were so good, I ordered another tray. The burger was fat and filling. The service was great and the food was properly cooked and hot right off the stove. The drink size is acceptable, looks like they serve one size, large, and that's fine by me! The establishment is neat and clean. Was not busy as of this time in the restaurant so with this combined with the nice weather, it's a nice atmosphere. I give full recommendation to try this out read more

We were looking for a quick lunch close to base. Someone suggested Griff's and it was close so we went there. Maybe 3 miles from base. It was after the lunch rush so seats were abundant. I decided on the jumbo hamburger with fries on the side, no mustard. Ketchup, pickles and lettuce. It too a few to get the food. You are given a receipt and on the receipt is a number, they call your number and your food is ready for pickup. The burger was ok, the bread was stale which killed the sandwich. I think fresh bread is essential to a good sandwich. The fries were crispy and needed ketchup and salt. In the restaurant there is a small bar offering condiments, napkins, and drinking straws. I ordered root beer which was good. For a quick meal at a good price Griff's hits the spot. Be aware jumbo isn't really jumbo. The burger reminded me of frozen patties from Costco you can cook on the grill quick. read more

Griff's isn't anything fancy or grand, but we always have a good time and we really enjoy the food. I don't live in Shreveport but I have gone out of my way to eat here when I was traveling through. The burgers are nicely grilled with a good char on the edges. The fish sandwich was only OK. My wife really likes the chicken sandwich. The fries are good but I love the tater tots more. The staff are friendly and they always seem like they are glad to see me. Plenty of seating available. It gets a little loud when they are busy but not so loud you can't hear when they call your number to let you know your food is ready. Never a long wait for food. The parking lot is small and gets blocked in when the drive-thru line gets long. Minor inconveniences really. The food is so good the other stuff doesn't detract. read more

I'm so impressed by the staff at this Griff's in Shreveport! Very very clean and service was amazing! But what impressed me most was the young man busting tables and making sure guess had a clean environment to enjoy their meal! When I use to train I would always say, in every job you do please God, by working hard, seeing a need and filling a need, without being asked! Go above and beyond what's expected! Bless God with your service to others! Thank you Demonza (sorry if I miss spelled your name) my father's favorite place to eat while he was alive! And we will be back to your location! read more

The quality and down-home service is gone! Use to be the best burger place ever. I mean it wasn't bad but it don't deserve the bragging rights it use to have. read more

One of the best burger places in Shreveport. Absolutely amazing prices as well. The inside is nothing fancy but it is clean and well cared for. Happy with the service. Will definitely be coming here more. read more

So angry right now! Went through the drive through, ordered, pulled up to the window, paid with my card, which i had a receipt. They came out and told me i didnt pay. Handed them the receipt that the cashier just gave me and they told me i never paid still. Why would i try and cheat them out of a F#$cking cheseseburger. Not sure why i was targted but she refused to give me the food that i paid for and shows up on my debit card statement. I told them to keep the money and drove off. Id say they will look stupid when they roll back the camera but its too late for them im afraid. Been going to this location since i was 5-6 years old. Im 54 now and ill never go back! read more

Perfect burger for a fast food spot. Griffs is the place for a good home cooked burger. They never have a bad burger. Covid measures are still being followed so seating is limited but do be prepared for a line in the drive thru. It does move fast. read more

Finally tried Griff's while exploring after moving here not too long ago. We're from Los Angeles and miss the huuuuge variety of really great food there. I have to say that Griff's served the best burger we've had since we moved out here. I loved the grilled buns. The fries will be soggy if you drive home with them but they are pretty good when you first receive them fresh. The service was quick and friendly. We'll be back! read more

The BEST burgers I've had in Louisiana!!! And the service was STELLAR!!! Everything was cooked fresh and fast. Can't say enough about how great the experience was. Will be back, weekly! read more

Delicious fast food! We hit the Griff's drive-thru before heading back to Alexandria. I had the steak finger basket, which included white gravy and REAL buttered toast, my hubby and dad both had the steak sandwich, and my mom had a small burger. Everything was delicious and seemed to be cooked to order. Fries were ok but I was wishing I had ordered the onion rings instead. We were there right at noon on a Friday, so the line was long but moved reasonably quickly. Within walking distance to Oschner LSU Health. read more

Still the best hamburgers in Shreveport. Onion Rings are always great. Steak Fingers are good also, especially with the gravy. The Fries were better in the gravy. read more

I have gone to this place a couple of times and I can say I really like it! My favorite is the combo #2. I almost feel like I can't give a full review. I had to grab a quick lunch. All I got was the double patty burger. The service was quick. The burger was tasty. It's sat well. I was eyeballing the french fries but did not order those. I would definitely return to this place for another burger. read more

These burgers are delicious. You have to wait a little bit it's fresh and hot every time.

Yumm. Great old fashioned burgers. How I remember burgers used to taste in the olden days. . Fast and polite service. We ate inside and they have 2 tv's you can watch. They have a very brisk drive thru service. The unsweetened tea was fresh. My son and hubs had the Giant cheeseburger and I had the Giant hamburger combo. we had fries, onion rings and tots as our sides. All were great but I especially loved the crispy tots. it cost the same here as for us to eat at Whataburger. Great, fast and friendly. If you want an old fashioned burger this is your place!! read more

Best hamburgers in the city would recommend this place to anybody around the world come get that good burger

I love this establishment. The manager Cyrus is the best and I love all the staff. They are awesome and deserve a raise

Cheap burgers. Good food. Friendly atmosphere. Was close to the hotel I was staying at.

Home of the Bass G-riff from your fave rock song, of Griff Tannen from Back To The Future 2, and of really excellent fast food, Shreve-style. It was the awesome Billy Joe - the most famous yelper in Shreveport - who told me to try this place when I came through. I had cats with me and they enjoyed sharing in the fun. We got burgers and sides and all kinds of treats. Everything was excellent. It wasn't the best fast food I've ever had (cough Swensons, cough Cook Out) but it was certainly right up there and these guys know how to make their goodies. The prices were pretty good, not bargain basement, but fair. It was definitely a five-star experience and is my favorite place to eat in Shreveport although I have not tried very many. Looking forward to expanding that. Now speaking of expanding things, are you free this evening. read more

The cheeseburger was delicious. The service was A+. The atmosphere was peaceful. It was my first time going to Griff's. My wife is from Shreveport and when I told her that I had a taste for a hamburger, she suggested Griff's. Well, when I got back to the hotel, I gave her a big kiss!!!!! read more

Not a great part of town, although sadly, there seems to be a lot of run down areas in Shreveport. I park, and there's garbage in the parking lot as I enter. Looks like it's been there a while. I go inside, and it looks clean. One other customer getting his food as I enter. I order my food, I got a chicken sandwich, fries, and a vanilla milkshake to go. There's a lot of people behind the counter working, yet my food takes a while to be prepared. Probably cooked to order. I brought the food back to my hotel, about a six minute drive. The chicken sandwich was good, the fries were soggy and could have used some more salt, and the shake was good. I don't know if the fries got soggy from being in the bag for 10 minutes or that's just the way they are. Overall, decent food on par with McDonald's or Wendy's. I won't go out of my way to find another one, but I won't avoid it either. read more

Griff's is a great burger. For fast food. Too salty for me, but it was better than the hospital fare. Within walking distance of University Heath, it is an option. I ordered the Combo #3 add bacon-hot (that means #addjalapenos). I ate the whole thing. I'd go back if Hubs lands in the hospital again. So actually l hope I never go back. (lol) seriously though. It's not bad food. read more

Came into this establishment one evening for a burger. Being from California I can say there are tons of great burger spots. This was simple but something struck me - it reminded me of a burger I had as a kid, something in the bite took me back in a good way to something I ate made from home. It was a GOOD! The workers were all happy and having a good time as they laughed, talked and worked to complete my order. The only negatives - an after taste of old grease in the tater tot's and the fountain machine was out of order. I would definitely return for lunch to enjoy a burger on my next visit. read more

While I was visiting Bossier City today I ran across Griffs Hamburgers. I live in the Fort Worth area and we have Griffs there. The service was pretty good. It looked kind of deserted when we pulled up, however people started coming in after we did. We ordered food for 4 people and all asked for our burgers different. They got our order correct and our food was hot and fresh!! The burger has a homestyle taste and did not disappoint. The fries were cooked perfect and the give you a generous amount! I would definitely recommend and I would go back again!! read more

They do not play when it comes to the size of their burgers. A double patty filled me up completely. Their onion rings are amazing, too, I highly recommend them with every order! read more

The burger was REALLY good! Griff's isn't what it used to be but they are the standard for a burger in the Shreveport-Bossier area! If your just passing through or if your a new local that's never been then you should go and check it out. I gave 4 stars and not 5 because their fries were not that good but that isn't why you go to Griff's; you go for the hamburgers! And it was great as always so it more than made up for the lackluster fries. read more

The food was Luke warm and very greasy. But the worst part is when we asked for water and they told us they didn't have any water so I commented we were not looking for bottled water just tap water. Well instead of giving us drinkable water they gave us water that burned my husbands tongue. There were no changing tables and the restroom could have been a lot cleaner. read more

Griffs #1 Double giant cheeseburger meal with mustard and mayo Fries Strawberry shake $8.89 I always hit up the drive thru and have not been inside since I was a kid. Literally a child. I stopped by during lunch and at the time there were no available parking slots. I was lucky to be the only one in the drive thru at the time. I placed my order and drove up to the window. I received my food but had to pull up to be brought my shake. The time spent waiting was super short. My food was right on point. My shake helped me to break the heat and humidity I was feeling. In the last two years nothing has changed about Griffs. The burgers taste the same as do the fries and shake. Well I do not recall them staying open to midnight before so that might be a difference or just an oversight on my part. read more
