Seriously !!!!!! This place has a drive thru going around…read morethe building full as well as I ordered at the window and waiting for 3 others before me. There is no way anyone can say this place isn't good and mean it . The young lady at the window helped me decide on the perfect meal for my liking and finished it with a slice of apple pie . I ended up getting some chicken strips and rice and red beans and it was crispy and flavorful. If you want fried chicken and there is one of these in your hood , go there ... run ,drive or bike ride . I'm amazed if the ever stop having customers from when the open sign lights up until it gets turned off.

They were fresh, juicy, and paired perfectly with the honey mustard. The fries weren't as crispy as I expected, but dipping them in the sauce definitely made them more enjoyable. My meal also came with two jalapeño peppers, a dinner roll, a drink, and I chose the sweet tea, which was a great addition. Overall, I had a great experience. I enjoy trying locally owned restaurants instead of the usual chain spots, and this place did not disappoint. The food was fresh, the customer service was excellent, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. The restaurant also looked clean and well-maintained from the outside, which gave me a good first impression. I'll definitely be back to try more items on the menu!

I really do like Canes. I tell people all the time this is one of the best wing spots out there…read more They do one thing and they do that one thing well but my latest visit really left a poor taste in my mouth. Aside from the sharp rise in price over the past few years which has made me go from visiting this place at least once or twice every two weeks to about 2-3 times a year. This last occurrence just got everything they do well all wrong. The service was beyond slow. From the time I got in line till the time I left felt like 30 min minimum. The fries, usually fresh, felt like they had been sitting up awhile. The chicken, usually moist, was dry and over cooked and tasted like it had been cooked in old grease. Not to mention they didn't give me all the wings that come with the meal. If I'm paying 18-20 dollars for a meal I expect the order to be correct. My drink was lacking flavor and i tasted more tap water from it than the HI-C. Lastly, to circle back to the slow service. When I get to the drive through window I see they have enough staff but most of them were just standing around. I'm writing this review, not to bash on Cane's but to hopefully remind the management of why I like it so much. And if you can't do what you're good at good anymore then you're going to further push away your base.

Horrible... absolutely horrible…read more In my opinion, either the fryer oil isn't being changed regularly, or the chicken is being fried twice. I asked them to remake my chicken sandwich, but the replacement came back looking the same as the first one. KFC on Benton Road gets credit where it's due: the food was great and the order came out without…read moreany real issues. The chicken still delivers that classic KFC comfort factor, and that part of the experience holds up just fine. Walking inside, though, feels like stepping into a time capsule from the 1980s. The interior and exterior both carry that old-school KFC look that many locations retired decades ago. It has a certain nostalgic charm, but it also makes the place feel like it hasn't had a serious refresh in quite a while. Honestly, it almost gives a little weight to the local rumor that many of the older KFC locations around Shreveport and Bossier will be closing before 2030. Service was okay. Nothing rude or problematic, just not especially memorable. The biggest hiccup seems to be the technology side of things. The connection between online ordering and the in-store system clearly needs work. Orders don't flow as smoothly as they should, and it slows things down unnecessarily. All that said, there's still something here worth saving. The food quality is solid and the location has potential. With a bit of modernization, a refresh of the building, and an update to the ordering tech, this KFC could easily bring its charm into the present day instead of feeling stuck in the past. Right now it's a bit of a vintage Colonel... still good, just overdue for a makeover.

The parking lot has a big pothole that could damage my car. She didn't care about that either. This whole experience boils down to attitude: she could care less about the customer, she was there to put in her five hours and go home. It was 7:45 and they were already out of every type of chicken except original! She couldn't handle any order that was not a meal with a number on it--totally incompetent. After several times trying to get her to give what I want and her saying it wasn't possible, she seemed to get it, but when I got to the window, she hadn't been listening enough to get hardly any of the order. Her attitude sucked from the beginning. I'm sorry that I was such a burden to her, keeping her from going home. I have eaten at KFC's all over the US, and this is the worst experience I have ever had. I gave up getting what I wanted and ate at Taco Bell instead. I just arrived in Bossier, and I swear I will NEVER return to this KFC again.
