If this review was based on the food and cashier (I think his name was Dale)) alone it would have been a 4 star. But after the order was taken, I'm not sure where the communication breakdown occurred. We paid for our food at 11:02 but didn't get it until 11:19 and then it was only a cheeseburger and tots. No gravy as ordered. Finally at 11:29, I received the gravy. The cook did apologize for the wait but not another soul in there cared that it took almost a full 30 minutes. My husband was done eating so I ate my gravy and tots alone. The restaurant was clean except for the floors which had a food crumbs and a little standing water on it but overall it was clean. Griff's is one of the best fast food burgers I've ever had. I was expecting some cheap, flavorless burger at a place I've never heard of. But I was treated to some fast food royalty. The Giant Double Cheeseburger is visibly freshly cooked and packed with flavor. All of the veggies were nice and fresh. Definitely comparable, but better than Whataburger. Service is pretty much the same, which isn't anything to write home about. However, it is totally worth the compromise of getting a delicious, affordable, fast food burger. read more

For decades this was my go-to spot for burgers in Bossier. Until today they've never disappointed me. But they've really gone downhill. The dining room was dirty. The fries are limp. Love this place!!!! It was introduced to the Shreveport / Bossier area decades ago, and I'm surprised no one ever took me as a kid. Right now, this location is offering drive thru to go orders only, but it was still worth it. I simply got a double patty meal with fries and a drink. It might seem like a traditional burger meal, but I think this burger beats a lot of places. The meat was juiced and cooked well to that point of where it melts in your mouth. I think this burger was just as good as a Five Guys double burger. All the condiments and sauces also tie into the sandwich to give it that "go back for more" taste. The fries were just alright; I prefer Five Guys fries for sure. While the menu doesn't offer many other options other than burgers and fries, this is a great place to bring the family and get a quick lunch. I guarantee it's way better than McDonald's, Burger King, Wendy's, and all those other traditional places. Go on and try it! read more

Years ago we had this burger place near us so one day I picked up for family at window. I got cheeseburger. Husband and sons got burgers. My burger was actually a green color. The exterior of the building doesn't provide a pop that would make you stop, however the staff was very friendly. The cheeseburger with chili wasn't that bad, but the chili was dry. But to be honest, this place reminded me more of McDonald's than a cool local burger joint. The fries weren't nearly as good as McDonald's fries though. Overall, my experience was lackluster. Updated review: Well use to go here a lot but service continues to go down hill. As well as questioning sanitation most days no soap in the restrooms. Many new staff slower than a snail. Went there today and was third in line it took over 10 minutes while most employees just goofin and playing on phones. What they fail to realize is I and other can spend our money anywhere. I'll be looking else where. Sorry sanitation is very impulsive to me. This was my first time here. Surprised at how low prices are. Ordered a double cheese burger and it was great very pleased much better than fast food chain places. Could have used little more salt but that's to taste. But have to say what really impressed me and told the manager is everyone was washing their hands! Something most business forget and we're cleaning the trays with cleaner so impressive! The lovely lady took my order with a smile. I ordered the #8 meal, fish sandwich with fries. After around 5 minutes, my sandwich was ready. This place is legendary! I remember it fondly as a child, then up through high school and college to present day. The triple-meat cheeseburger meal, with fried mushrooms, instead of fries and a large Coke, is what I roll with these days, and I do mean roll, as in, roll my big butt out the door after eating all of this. All of their burgers are excellent, as is their steak sandwich! If grease is what you want or need (cough! hangover remedy!) then grease is what you will get at Griff's, and there are many days, where there's nothing wrong with that.
