8:30 on a Friday night. Drive through party of two. I wanted a steak finger basket with FF. He wanted onion rings. So we got one basket with FF. And an extra side of OR. I enjoyed less than 1/2. And he got the rest. Dinner for 2 $15. The steak was flavorful. The onions were delicious. The FF were a little floppy but we were getting them to go. The Texas toast was the just okay. Nothing special. All in all- I give it a- Who am I kidding? It's Griff's. I will be back. read more

If this review was based on the food and cashier (I think his name was Dale)) alone it would have been a 4 star. But after the order was taken, I'm not sure where the communication breakdown occurred. We paid for our food at 11:02 but didn't get it until 11:19 and then it was only a cheeseburger and tots. No gravy as ordered. Finally at 11:29, I received the gravy. The cook did apologize for the wait but not another soul in there cared that it took almost a full 30 minutes. My husband was done eating so I ate my gravy and tots alone. The restaurant was clean except for the floors which had a food crumbs and a little standing water on it but overall it was clean. The food comes in decent size portions allowing two to share. read more

Griff's is one of the best fast food burgers I've ever had. I was expecting some cheap, flavorless burger at a place I've never heard of. But I was treated to some fast food royalty. The Giant Double Cheeseburger is visibly freshly cooked and packed with flavor. All of the veggies were nice and fresh. Definitely comparable, but better than Whataburger. Service is pretty much the same, which isn't anything to write home about. However, it is totally worth the compromise of getting a delicious, affordable, fast food burger. read more

For decades this was my go-to spot for burgers in Bossier. Until today they've never disappointed me. But they've really gone downhill. The dining room was dirty. The fries are limp. Lettuce had an "off taste," patties tasted frozen and freezer burnt and were cooked to a crisp. Next time I'll just go elsewhere. read more

Love this place!!!! It was introduced to the Shreveport / Bossier area decades ago, and I'm surprised no one ever took me as a kid. Right now, this location is offering drive thru to go orders only, but it was still worth it. I simply got a double patty meal with fries and a drink. It might seem like a traditional burger meal, but I think this burger beats a lot of places. The meat was juiced and cooked well to that point of where it melts in your mouth. I think this burger was just as good as a Five Guys double burger. All the condiments and sauces also tie into the sandwich to give it that "go back for more" taste. The fries were just alright; I prefer Five Guys fries for sure. While the menu doesn't offer many other options other than burgers and fries, this is a great place to bring the family and get a quick lunch. I guarantee it's way better than McDonald's, Burger King, Wendy's, and all those other traditional places. Go on and try it! read more

Years ago we had this burger place near us so one day I picked up for family at window. I got cheeseburger. Husband and sons got burgers. My burger was actually a green color. I wondered about that but ate it anyway. It was not bad. Not good. Just food. Ended up getting severe food poisoning. Awful. Frightening. Bad. Dizzy, room going round and round, sick at stomach, awful awful. Never ever ever went back to this burger joint. Thought I would die I was so sick. Am amazed they are even still around read more

The exterior of the building doesn't provide a pop that would make you stop, however the staff was very friendly. The cheeseburger with chili wasn't that bad, but the chili was dry. The fries were very poor and nearly inedible. The sprite was sprite. I would eat here again because i think that having a friendly staff is an undervalued trait in the fast food game. read more

I was in the mood for a good, thick, greasy burger. That's what I was told I was getting at Griff's. Their menu even calls their burgers giant! But to be honest, this place reminded me more of McDonald's than a cool local burger joint. The fries weren't nearly as good as McDonald's fries though. Overall, my experience was lackluster. If you're looking for a delicious handmade burger, I'd suggest looking elsewhere. If you're looking for something quick that's a step up from McDonald's, maybe stop here. read more

I rarely review a fast-food place because you know what you're getting with them, but Griff's is different. They are a bit slower than the big chain burger places, but that's only because the food is made to order. Best fast food burger you will ever have hands down. I have been coming here for years and can't recall them ever getting my order wrong. The prices are great too!! read more

Updated review: Well use to go here a lot but service continues to go down hill. As well as questioning sanitation most days no soap in the restrooms. Many new staff slower than a snail. Went there today and was third in line it took over 10 minutes while most employees just goofin and playing on phones. What they fail to realize is I and other can spend our money anywhere. I'll be looking else where. Sorry sanitation is very impulsive to me. This was my first time here. Surprised at how low prices are. Ordered a double cheese burger and it was great very pleased much better than fast food chain places. Could have used little more salt but that's to taste. But have to say what really impressed me and told the manager is everyone was washing their hands! Something most business forget and we're cleaning the trays with cleaner so impressive! The guys at Redline Express recommended for my wife and I to eat at Griff's, they were right, this place was really good. I had the Chili Hot Dog Cheese Burger, it was great. My wife had the Chicken Sandwich, she loved it. The employees were all nice. The place was packed with locals and military personnel. read more

The lovely lady took my order with a smile. I ordered the #8 meal, fish sandwich with fries. After around 5 minutes, my sandwich was ready. Being at a hamburger joint and ordering fish, I didn't expect much. But, it was very good. It wasn't large, just enough for lunch. Parking is a little tight at lunch. Oh my heck. Ladies and gentlemen, the best burger you will ever eat is right here! Better than In N' Out (oh, yes I did), better than Hodads, better than Five Guys'. Right. Freaking. Here. I bought lunch for my movers and this is the place they wanted burgers from. I had hoped they would say Five Guys, so I was a little disappointed. I ordered the double burger with mayo and mustard and added mushrooms. One day I had onion rings, another day fried mushrooms and another the fries. Lord, help my cholesterol. So so so amazing! This place is legendary! I remember it fondly as a child, then up through high school and college to present day. The triple-meat cheeseburger meal, with fried mushrooms, instead of fries and a large Coke, is what I roll with these days, and I do mean roll, as in, roll my big butt out the door after eating all of this. All of their burgers are excellent, as is their steak sandwich! If grease is what you want or need (cough! hangover remedy!) then grease is what you will get at Griff's, and there are many days, where there's nothing wrong with that. I love Griff's and I'm pretty sure, that the love is reciprocal. read more

She was so professional, so sweet and so providing....does that make sense. I have been eating at Jason's deli for 20 years. And there have been a few that were very nice , but because not only that I have an interaction with her months before when I was in there, I also had a phone interaction with her this time. My roast beef sandwich was huge, fresh, and delicious especially since this time I was able to dunk it in their flavorful au jus sauce. That combination is clearly the best in our area. I did get extra mayo. So my order was perfect. Nothing was missing. The gingerbread muffins taste exactly like my grandmother's recipe. They were delicious. Their bowl of tomato soup was also on point in terms of flavor and this time I got plenty of crackers. Two pack of crackers, is their norm, so on my first visit, I was given the correct amount of crackers. I just didn't know that was the norm. If you want an amazing roast beef sandwich... this is the place... that pickle spear really sets it off. This was a great lunch.

I was met by the new owner (just purchased it a week ago) and he explained that he only had a temp lunch menu. I asked if the club sandwich was on the temp menu and he indicated it wasn't but he had all the ingredients for it and would happily make it for me. While he was preparing we had a chat about the place and he said he wanted to experiment with the layout of the sandwich. It turned out great. Plenty of meat, right amount of cheese and toppings. The ONLY thing I'd change is the bread appears to be toasted on a buttered grill. I'm a little old school and would have preferred standard toasted bread, but that alone would not stop me from going again. Best of luck to the new owner and if you're in town, the extra 3 minute drive away from the main part of town is well worth it!

The Cuban is on the freshest bread and it tastes like the condiments and pork are truly homemade and the effort shows. My only criticism would be that if you are ordering online it seems like the menu varies even though they have the food available if you call. Second, I dislike that they are closed on weekends. It's the most opportune time to get food from there. So it's delicious when you can get it.

I've also met the owner several times as ive been coming here for years and he has always been kind, friendly, and welcoming. Unfortunately, my visit today felt very different. I walked in and was not greeted or acknowledged, even though I was standing right in front of the staff. Shortly after, another couple walked in and were immediately greeted by two employees, while I was still standing there without anyone speaking to me until I was asked about my order. As a Black man, that kind of experience is hard to ignore. I cannot say for certain what the reason was, but I can say that I felt overlooked, uncomfortable, and unwelcome. The lady with pink hair did eventually come out and speak to me, and I appreciated that, but the other staff members made the environment feel cold and unfriendly. It's disappointing to feel like the welcoming atmosphere may depend on who is working, or who is walking through the door. I hope this was just a bad day, but it left a bad impression.
