I was in Alvin and had a taste for KFC'S spicy chicken sandwich. I went through the drive thru but I'll say this location gave slightly old timey KFC vibes with the large KFC chicken bucket atop the KFC signage. Loved it. So cute! Despite that though the KFC seemed modernized from the font of the letters and the structure of the building. The location has plenty parking. The lady in the drive thru was kind and handed me my food with a cheerful smile, told me to have a great day. I often will eat the sandwich from my car b/c it tastes amazing fresh but this time I decided to eat it when I got home, which was about 17 min or so from this KFC. The aluminum sandwich bag was huge and the sandwich inside matched it's size. As far as taste, the sandwich was good but it wasn't at it's usual "amazing" status. It didn't taste as fresh as all the other KFC spicy sandwiches I've had. It tasted like it might have been sitting for a bit and not like it came straight to me from the frying pan. I also noticed the sandwich was nearly a dollar more than the price I usually pay at the Pearland KFC'S. At any rate, the service was good and the sandwich was ok. Probably best to ask for a fresh sandwich to ensure you don't get one that's been sitting under a lamp. Also, this is a decent KFC to go to if you're craving it and in the area but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here. read more

HORRIBLE. HAD TO THROW IT OUT. I waited 45 minutes in the parking lot for them to cook a 16 piece dark meat extra crispy. It smelled/tasted burnt and rancid like they used rancid oil that was too hot and it burnt the breading while the meat was just barely cooked, not separating from the bone like properly cooked fried chicken. The chicken was mostly sinew and gristle. Normally KFC smells yummy. THIS STANK UP MY CAR AND OUR WHOLE HOUSE They weren't even busy. When I called to politely tell them they tried to blame it on me like I rushed them. 45 minutes is a rush?! They said if I bring the chicken back they'll give me a refund. Wonder how long I'll have to wait in line for that?! Will update if I survive the drumstick I tried to eat. This was such a disappointment because my widowed Mom asked me to pick it up when she finally got her appetite back after having the flu all week. read more

To start, we are in a small town. So I get why this location wouldn't have some items. I was disappointed however that there were no hot wings here. The drink station was not working for all drinks either. The place could have used a good cleaning too. We placed our order which was a small bucket with two sides. After we were given our order, we were told there weren't any biscuits. Everyone I know loves the mashed taters with KFC biscuits and we do too so we were so disappointed. I asked for a bun so I could have some kind of bread for my mashed taters and was told they couldn't sell me one. The manager then said that if we were going to eat there (which we were), and if we wanted to wait, he would make some biscuits for us. Honestly, they were the best damn KFC biscuits that I had ever had! The chicken and sides were very good too. We were pretty satisfied with the service as well. We went for dinner and when we left it was dark outside and no lights were on. Not even the marquee sign so it looked like it was closed but it wasn't. One of the most truly remarkable things about living in this town is having a Kentucky Fried Chicken with an all you can eat buffet. Especially considering it is only $7.99 and includes the drink. I love their chicken, and usually they have the Grilled, Crispy, and Original styles all available. Along with mashed potatoes, cream and brown gravy, corn, green beans, fried okra, livers and gizzards, and if you are fortunate (which is very seldom), Chicken Fried Steaks and Chicken Strips. They have a small salad bar with their famous cole slaw, couple of fruits, puddings and jellos. Unfortunately, one thing we have noticed, it seems that every time we go into this restaurant, it seems to slide further downhill. My wife and I went into this restaurant and ordered two buffets. To my surprise, when we got to buffet, there was no chicken available. The mashed potatoes were also empty. It took three people to complain (me and two others who were not even part of our party) before chicken was even brought out. Just before it was brought out, a lady in a red shirt and a black skirt (who was apparently a manager) was asked about chicken on the buffet, to which she said, "They need chicken?" and laughed. She then came out from around the prep area and sat down in a corner in the dining room, pulled out her cellphone, and talked on the cellphone for the next 45 minutes. It must have been a great conversation from the laughing coming from her corner. While a nice amount of original style (one being a breast) and grilled chicken (with two being breasts) was placed on the buffet, there were only 7 pieces of crispy chicken (5 legs, 1 thigh and 1 breast) made available. With 9 people eating the buffet in the dining room, this lasted an entire 3 minutes before it was out again, NEVER to be refilled during the rest of our dining time. My wife only eats crispy style white meat, and I got to the buffet line just in time to grab her the breast, but nothing else was available. So, for her, we paid almost $9 for one piece of chicken, mashed potatoes and fried okra. During the manager's 45 minute phone call in the corner, she sat staring at one of the three overflowing trashcans in the facility. There was trash and food all over the floor. In the dining room, there was a family of 5, two tables with two gentlemen each, and my wife and I. Four tables occupied, two take out orders, two drive-thru orders in the hour I was in here, and the dining room was a mess, and the buffet empty. There was no excuse for these issues, except for laziness of 3 employees and very talkative manager. I will say that at one point, one of the girls came out and wiped off the tables in the dining room, but nothing was ever done about the trash on the floor or the overflowing trashcans. This restaurant is a total mess, and none of the employees knew what they were doing. There were maybe 2 cars in the parking lot, and none in the drive-thru, but they still couldn't keep up. I placed my order through the app to save time, and it told me my food would be ready by 7:24. I got there early, only to be told that they somehow wouldn't even print the order until 7:24, and said they wouldn't start making it until then. This makes no sense, since 7:24 is when they were supposed to be done making it. Sure enough, the order was late, and I didn't receive it until 7:37. They really messed it up too, forgetting condiments, napkins, utensils, and a sandwich. I don't know why they couldn't handle a single order, but this was ridiculous. read more

I ordered a 12 piece bucket of original it was fresh hot it was one of the best KFC bucket so I've had in a long time. Customer service is great food was great I travel almost 20 miles to go to this one because the two by me are so horribly run and the customer service and the food is terrible and not clean at all. I just waited in line and I was at the order speaker, but no one ever came on the speaker, the cars behind me started honking because they were now stopping traffic. I pulled out of line and called them to see if speaker was broken and maybe they didn't know and if I could to the counter and order to go? I was told that the speaker was working and that they were simply too busy to acknowledge me, and no, I could only go and get to the back of the line and start over. We went through the drive thru at 5pm. They only had 12 pieces of extra crispy. No potato wedges. The guy taking our order was rude. At 5pm, one would think you could get fresh chicken and potato wedges...fresh!! Got our meal back home and the 12 piece bucket contained: 2 breast, 2 thighs and the rest was wings...the extra crispy chicken was burnt. Someone seriously needs to hire better managers. Best KFC around. It's the "country store" atmosphere. Super nice people on here, this is the only KFC we like going to.

Worst KFC I have ever visited, they have messed up my order multiple times and the staff are always rude. They don't keep up to date with their specials either; order it and they will not know what you're talking about and give you something completely different. read more

Went to the drive thru for some original wings and was pleasantly surprised when I was told due to the small wing size I was getting a few more. Wow there's something that doesn't happen everyday. The wings were very good I love original recipe. The young man at the window was super nice as well as professional. If u haven't been for a while give this place a try. read more
