Thank you Yelp for helping me to find this place! Holy hell fire, frinedly, fast, they know their stuff! This place is a must go. It is a very quaint office, in the corner of the Timberlake Shopping Center (GPS will not navigate well). I had to get a few house keys made, as well as a spare key to my SUV. That one was a bit tricky, due to the chip inside and having to get online to make sure it's right, etc. The gentleman went out to my car, made sure it worked, made sure everything was correct, and even gave me a bit of advice on the locks. When you only use keyless entry, your locks can get stiff, due to the salt in the air and such, just a shot of WD40 in each and you are good to go! I think I was there for maybe 15-20 mins getting all of the keys made, like I said, the car key was the toughy. I watched 4 other people in and out in a matter of minutes and they were all pleased! I'm super excited I have found this place and Yelp didn't let me down! Just a note, if you are running your card for under $10, there is a $0.80 surcharge added ( I watched a guy to go his car to dig out the $2 in change for his order of a key). read more

I've been here a few times and every time I go, I'm never disappointed. I've gotten a few electronic fob keys done here for super cheap compared to a dealership. They always tell me the best way to go so that I save money and so I don't spend unnecessary money. I basically got two fob keys done for $70 compared to the dealership which would charge me over $200 per key. Just order a blank fob key online (I use Amazon) and take here to get it programmed and cut then your good to go. Highly suggest this place! read more

I walked into the store with a very old shelf pin for my Safe. They gave me one (although not exact) and bent the old one I had so that it would hopefully work. I was missing a pin, so the shelf was not usable. Before I left I set an appointment with them to come to my house to take care of an issue I had. They were able to accommodate me for the following day. Kevin called and informed me that he was on his way here and took care of my issue as well as fixed the shelf issue for me. Great place to go for keys you need. I had two keys that I couldn't get cut any where came to Keys & Locksmith and was out the door in seconds. I had the worst experience ever dealing with this business. I ordered a key fob for my vehicle and they promised to get it in 3-4 days and call me back. The store charged me for the whole amount of the key with cutting and programing the fob in advance. I called after a week, when I didn't hear back from them, to learn that the person who do this type of keys is sick. I went to the store, a few days later, to find that the person who do the key is back, but unfortunately, the key didn't arrive. They become very rude when I asked for a refund and refused to issue a refund till the return is approved by the manager. I called back the same day to talk to the manager with no luck. I just spoke to the same person who kept running me around and informed me that he just received the key and I can come after the weekend for installation. That was a lie because it was a holiday with no delivery of any kind. I am sure that they had received the key earlier but they got overwhelmed and couldn't handle their business. It was a long 2 weeks of aggravation and frustration for buying simple key which I could have got it at Low's in 15 minutes with half the price. I will never go back or recommend their service to anyone I know. read more

Came here to get my key cut for my motorcycle. I was here around 3PM and got out around 350pm due to work. The guy who did all the main smithing and the lady who was at the desk did not acknowledge me at all. They were busy fixing some guys lock, or some kind of mechanism. Around 327PM, a lady came in and was waiting for service and she got greeted within a minute of her arrival. I felt some type of way about that and I truly felt a little bit discriminated against. None the less, I tried to wait it out as long as I could to get my key cut, but I had to go to work and left feeling unhappy because I wasted gas to go there, and not even be greeted. If you can find another place to get locksmith jobs done, I recommend going else where. read more

My Dad became very ill and it appeared that he may not be with us much longer. We have a safe that had his Will and other important documents inside but we lost the key! I was pet sitting for a coworker and the key broke off in their front door as I was leaving one night. I was able to pull the end of it out of the lock but was stuck with 2 halves of a key and a locked door. Worried that their cats would starve, I spent the next morning trying to get a new one made. Home Depot said they couldn't put the broken key in their key cutting machine. The leasing office wouldn't give me a spare since I wasn't on the lease for their apartment. He identified the problem and one of his guys expertly and with care repaired my lock while another made the key. I got an office key made while I was there as well. I was looking to have a couple spare keys made for a car I recently bought for my son. I searched on Yelp and called a couple highly rated locksmiths listed. Great company! Really friendly, honest, knowledgeable, and helpful. Great price for what I needed done. They were able to re-build the inside my lock cylinder off of my Honda when the key would not turn in the ignition. They even filed both of the keys to help for a better fit. Another locksmith told me I needed to replace the ignition switch which they quoted between $250-$350 plus $150 to install.
