I have been into the showroom twice and both times (unfortunately) had the same woman "helping" me (Jessica?). She is NOT helpful at all. Is there some magical way to get someone else to help me instead of her? She is not forthcoming with information. I had to keep asking questions several different ways before she finally indicated that they would tear out my current countertops BEFORE finalizing the quote. AFTER that it would be another 3 weeks or so before they would start installing the new granite countertops. WHAT?? That seems SO ridiculous. Is that what they do for all customers with a remodel? I can't imaging letting them tear up my house before they tell me the price or schedule the new install. read more

I sent in my specs. I called them to see if they got them and asked for an estimate. I resent the specs. Someone called me about a week later asking if anyone had followed up on my inquiries. Too expensive, little service. They just send you out back too look at slabs. I found the same granite fir about half the price

I think it was Lopez and Michael who came to remove an extension in my Corian countertop. It needed a bullnose edge. The Keystone bid was reasonable, but I'm really particular, so I just had to hope for the best. It was the best! Flawless workmanship in my 28-year-old counter. I have to add that if that if you want an attractive, versatile, and long, long lasting surface, Corian can't be beat. Carol read more

Great, helpful, and very pleasant people at the stone yard and office. Very large selection in a wide price range. Prompt template and then installation even though they are extremely busy. Excellent craftsmanship. Clean careful very well-done installation with good attention to detail. Overall just great to work with. This is our second project with Keystone. We were so happy with the first one that when we needed granite again we knew just who to call. read more

Totally happy with their workmanship. Everyone I encountered were very pleasant people. I'm completely happy with the countertop project!

We just had our countertops installed yesterday. Keystone was in constant communication leading up to the install including sending images of each piece to be cut and the orientation of the stone. We had to make some changes to the layout, they halted production until we worked out the kinks. Yesterday they arrived with 3 trucks and 6 strong men to lift the over 1000 lb piece of granite into our home. They took great care negotiating corners, doorways and made sure they kept the granite from denting or gouging the floor. Once the heavy lifting was completed, two stone masons stayed behind to set the quartz and granite, mount the sink and cut the faucet hole. They taped around all their work to keep the stone from chipping. They polished rough spots and further sealed the granite. When they were done we had our beautiful kitchen just the way we envisioned it! We are ecstatic! We picked our stone several months ago, placed a deposit so we wouldn't lose that special piece. Sue's team worked with us over the past months with exceptional professionalism. We've read a 1 star review by an impatient Yelper, who couldn't be bothered to wait for Keystone to produce their stonework artistry. I can only say that art takes time and patience. Keystone has a full calendar for good reason, they are exceptional at what they do! The services they provide are wide ranging from counters and vanities to stone walls and outdoor kitchens. We have 2 bathrooms and a hearth to remodel and wouldn't go anywhere else. Keystone is worth the wait! read more

Keystone Granite - Keystone install just made the kitchen that much closer to being awesome - Countertop Installation Near Me - Salem, Oregon

Buyer beware! They do not stand by their product or alleged warranty on their countertops. I spent thousands for quartz countertops and they have been treated perfectly. A crack has formed at the corner of my countertop and has started to spread. I contacted Keystone back in December and was given the run-around for months. Only now, mid-February did I receive a phone call from the office manager (Sue) who was rude, abrupt and refused to do anything about repairing the crack unless I paid money out of pocket to have someone come out. I sent them photos as soon as I noticed the crack. I offered to show them my counter is level and that this isn't a result of my 34-year-old house suddenly settling as she claimed. I never cut on my countertops or set anything hot on them. This is a manufacturer defect and I'm now having to either pay more money to repair it or live with an ugly and potentially unsafe crack in my countertop. To leave your customers high and dry after they pay you a lot of money for something done to their home is unacceptable but to also have this kind of attitude and rigidity rather than to work with and try and help your customers is inexcusable. I will never do business with Keystone Granite again nor will I ever recommend them to anyone. You had the opportunity to create a great customer experience which would result in lifelong referrals for business but instead you've decided to ignore me, not communicate back in a timely manner and greedily want more money. Shame on you! read more

I had heard conflicting reviews about Keystone, and I was a little hesitant to use them. HOWEVER, my experience has been top notch! The woman who helped me place my order knew her products and made the ordering process quick & easy. She also was very helpful with solutions when it seemed my sink wouldn't arrive in time for the template maker. The template maker guy was super nice, very professional and efficient. He had good information and made great suggestions as we finalized exactly how the counters were going to be installed. The installation crew actually arrived early! They were respectful of my home, laying down pads in their traffic area and did a fantastic installation job. I am more than happy with every aspect of my transaction with Keystone and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone! read more

Keystone Granite - Countertop Installation Near Me - Salem, Oregon

In May 2021 we ordered two DIY bathroom vanities. They were simple rectangular countertops with a under mount sink. I picked them up at their shop. I planned to remodel our downstairs bathroom the summer of 2021 but had to delay until this summer. A week ago I opened both of the boxes and found one of the countertops had 3 breaks in it. I followed up with Keystone and they said they wouldn't have shipped them that way. I did not inspect them when I picked both the countertops up as they were boxed and taped shut. I handled them with care and they sat in our downstairs storage and were not disturbed. Its a little frustrating because now the granite we selected is no longer available. So we will end up with countertops that don't match because I'm having a hard time not using the good countertop. Ok, I understand Keystone's perspective. A customer orders countertops and then a year later, he reports one is broken. But together, we should have inspected them before receipt and then there would be no questions. That didn't happen. And a warning to anyone who buys their DIY countertops. DO NOT accept them without looking for damage. There were three breaks in the slab. And no damage to the sink. Which surprised me a little. Go figure. I hope Keystone changes their policy and requires customers and shipping to do a visual inspection. It would be in everyone's best interest. read more

Our counter tops are beautiful. However, the installer unhooked our drainage pipe from our dishwasher during the installation which in turn flooded our kitchen while we were out. Our floors are completely ruined and need to be replaced. Keystone has been very difficult to work with throughout the claims process and will not take responsibility for their mistake. Horrible customer service. read more

So many consumers give 5-star reviews for a service that MEETS expectations. A 5-star review is, what did the company do to EXCEED your expectations? It's taken me a while to get to writing this review, but, I've been working on completing several home projects on a timeline (as MANY homeowners are). My initial engagement with KeyStone was great, for the most part. In the beginning responses were fairly prompt, and the representative who came to template was great. When they called for install appt, I asked if I needed to be present or just on site while the install was being done. I was told JUST on site. Many of us are working from home these days and that means we're there but not "present". With that confirmed, the install was set for June 2. As the installers completed their work, I was on a conference call and was not available to see the work. I was told they were calling out, "ma'am?" But, I was in my garage/office and unable to hear and respond. The showed my daughter (a senior in high school), the gap (as pictured) and told her it was due to our wall not being level. You can see that the gap has been filled with a mortar compound (by the installer) and that is as far as they filled. I called KeyStone the next day (Wednesday) and explained. The representative that I spoke to said she needed pictures and would get back to me. I know how busy they are and waited until Friday morning (first thing) to follow up. I had a contractor coming over Saturday to help me with my back splash and wanted this acknowledged. This was NOT quality work. The representative that I had emailed said she was waiting for manager response and would follow up. She wanted to know who filled the gap with the compound and why didn't it fill the whole gap. I explained again. She was shocked. She responded later that her managers said that I would have to use Hardy board before I did my backsplash, making this a non-issue. I told her that this isn't true, and I would not be using Hardy board. She came back with their next "recommendation" of putting thicker mortar in that area when I placed the backsplash. I told her that this was not a viable solution and at that point I felt that the install was not "honest" nor were the solutions. Sure, the cost for KeyStone is low, but, I did not get what I paid for, I felt I should be refunded something for "less than" work. That's when a manager called me (Friday afternoon) They had spoken to the installer and the wall was not level and they needed to cut it to make the seam fit (understandable) and all walls are uneven. We had just replaced drywall in our demo. The gap they left should not be that BIG. They wanted to come out and look. I told them that I didn't have time for them to come out, that I had a contractor coming out the next day for tile, and they knew what had been done. The installer told them. They then claimed that I wasn't giving them an opportunity to do anything that they responded to my concern right away. I contacted them that day and they responded that day. I told them that I had reached out the day after install, and I followed up on their lack of response. They claimed that the wall was that uneven and if I wanted to prove otherwise, I would need to go buy an 8' level, "which is VERY expensive," she said in a condescending tone. I continued to tell them that the work was not good and the "solution" of the wall being uneven was dishonest. We were at an impasse. They were not willing to do anything if they couldn't come see it. The next day, the contractor came to help me with my backsplash. Here's his conclusion. All walls are not 100% level, the template was likely "off", the installers did need to modify, and they made the error in the cut to do so. It appears that instead of cutting from one end to the other, they started at one end, stopped and then stared at the other end, failing to have lined up the two (hence the odd cut you see in the circled image). The template should have acknowledged the 1/8" variance in the wall, preventing the need to make the cut - which resulted in a BAD cut, and 7/16" gap created. If your project goes smoothly, you'll have NO problems with KeyStone. Loyalty is built on how you handle a service breakdown. I recommend shopping around. Many companies are price matching and it could prevent a headache if something should go wrong. read more

I would strongly recommend purchasing your countertops from another seller unless you have a TON of time to wait for them. I have been waiting a month and a half and I still have not received any notice or update on its progress. The relationship with their customers is their most important quality and value. This does NOT go unnoticed. I had a large kitchen job on our home remodel and had Keystone template and instal counter of our choice. German and his crew came out roughly 6 weeks after initial quote, 2 weeks after template for installation. The templater very surprisingly shorted the overhang completely on the counter. It was a unique instal and this was frustrating but not extremely surprising with the uniqueness of our kitchen. Sue contacted me and worked around my schedule and had NEW quartz counters delivered in 2 days. I requested the same instal crew, and she sent them as well. They went above and beyond to please me the customer and reiterated that was their value as a company. Sue called to follow up and made every arrangement and follow up to make the whole situation right. This was a great example of just how much they care for their customers and why I will be using them again even with the difficult first time. They get it right and quality and price are unmatched in Oregon. read more

Terrible installation. Countertops had black spots on them. The lines are really bad. They also didn't give us the right hangover that we wanted even though I called before installation to ensure that it would be what I wanted it to be. I told the main office maybe was some kind of language barrier because the person on the phone had an accent. They started to yell at me saying "he has a college degree. Like that has anything to do with the bad communication. If you're on the fence don't do it. Plenty of other places to go. Plenty of other places read more

From our first interaction with them, we found everyone to be professional and experienced. We were so pleased to have found Keystone Granite and paid a third less for the exact same Granite that we got two other estimates for. Not kidding!!! By the time we stopped at Keystone, we had already shopped 5 granite yards and 3 fabricators so we had knew pretty much what we wanted and the prices each had quoted. We got a job quote from Tina within an hour of looking at the granite and it was exactly what she told us. We only had to go back once to pick the slabs we wanted and pay. I think it was about 7 or 8 days and they made an appointment to field measure and then sent a layout on the slabs for approval within 3 days. The installers came the following Monday and installed with no issues. We are extremely pleased with the service and product that Keystone Granite supplied and would not hesitate to recommend them. Definitely worth the drive to Salem! read more

They have great prices, but what they don't tell you is that you will be out of a kitchen or bath for at least two weeks! They asked for deposit before they will schedule you & as they talk you through what you have to do at the first appointment is when you find out you will have no working sinks! For the appointment to measure & create a template you have to have your water & sinks disconnected. And they demo your counters at that measure appointment! Then two weeks later you get your new counters. So between those two appointments you have to counters. If you have no counters you have no sink or running water. If you are like us, looking at doing a kitchen & getting the "free" granite for vanities (really not free, pay $29/sq ft for installation) we would have been without not only no kitchen for two weeks but our two bathrooms too! We got our refund, but lost 3% charge because we used a credit card. read more

This is the place for your granite and marble needs! Our son referred Keystone Granite to us, so during our kitchen and bath remodel we drove down to Salem from Portland to see what they had to offer. We met Alicia who was helpful and patient since this was our first experience walking through the slabs of granite, marble and quartz. Very low key and extremely helpful. We later worked with Sue who is the mastermind behind the scenes!!! We changed our bathroom order to all marble, and she accommodated us in every way. Installation in kitchen was flawless. Angel, Ryan and Alex were hard workers and had great hearts! Our spa tub marble cut and fit had some issues, but Angel and Ryan corrected it before they were installed, and it looks beautiful. We purchased three sinks with our marble. Two in master bath and one in guest bath. All sinks, even our Koehler 130 LB kitchen sink were mounted as under mounts. This is going to be great for cleaning. Hint: If having two sinks in one room installed check to make sure they are from the same lot. Keystone Granite offered a great price and a was a pleasure to work with. We highly recommend them for any kitchen or bath build. Btw: with any kitchen purchase bathroom vanities are severely discounted if you want to choose from their remnant selection. read more

They did a great job with installing the countertop, they took their time and did it right, It looks so beautiful! I especially liked Angle, who lead the installing crew. He was totally focused on doing a quality job. When cutting the kitchen sink faucet hole, he realized that the plumber would have a difficult time connecting the faucet from the bottom and instead of leaving this problem for the plumber to solve, he removed the sink, and cut a hole in the back of the cabinet to give greater access for the plumber.
