This review is for anyone looking for remnants/small pieces: We were in search of a remnant to use for food prep/bread making on top of an antique kitchen island/Hoosier cabinet. I found a quartz slab with an amazing vein running through it that was even better than I had expected for about 1/4 the cost of buying a similar slab anywhere else. I'm sad that I can't post a photo here, because it's absolutely beautiful. Customer service was top-notch. My purchase was tiny, but I felt like was treated with the same attention and care as any client would have been. That was noticed and very much appreciated. read more

Absolutely unprofessional and terrible company. Do NOT do business with them. Was scheduled to have our countertops templated tomorrow. We hadn't heard from them so we called. We were told no one would be coming out because the owner was upset that some of the counters recently installed by them didn't fit. We were told we NOW have to remove our current counter and backsplash before they would come out to template. No notice, no call! Somehow we were supposed to know that telepathically? I already took the day off, have lost one days pay, and spent hours preparing. I am done and will be expecting a full refund for my cash payment. I will take my business elsewhere. read more

We worked with Alex with granite selection and making decisions for all our countertops and kitchen island in a new house. We worked from house plans initially and ended up purchasing 3 slabs of granite. It is a large house and the kitchen island is large at 6x8 feet. They did a good job and all of the granite in 4 rooms looks great. read more

I don't know much about this business but what I can tell you is their customer service is bullshit and their manager if she is the manager is completely unprofessional! I called them because one of their drivers almost sideswiped me in their box truck. So I called to talk to the manager about their driver. The woman who answered after some argument told me her name was Mila and she was the manager. At one point she laughed about the situation and it wasn't until I got pissed that she seemed like she was going to take care of the situation and apologized. But the fact that she was joking and laughing at the situation and when I asked what her name was so I could make sure I spoke to the right person. We just finished replacing our old white tiles with fresh granite counters and backsplash from Granite Countertops and More. Serg was great to work with in planning, choosing granite and through installation. His installers were professional and efficient. The job was done on original schedule as agreed at the agreed price. Serg was always communicating with us on progress and making sure the installed product is what we wanted. We had priced out 2cm products and 3cm and decided the 3cm was overall a better value and more attractive finish for us. We would do business with these folks again, and recommend Serg and his company. read more

We had our kitchen granite replaced with something that was more acceptable with the rest of the house. We dealt with Serge, the business owner. They had the largest selection on site by far of anything in Salem. The experience was FABULOUS... They did the demo of the old countertops and installed the new sink and new countertops the same day. We were more than pleased with the professionalism of Serge and his wonderful installers. They were able to save our existing backsplash without so much as a chip. They were also able to eliminate one of the seams between two pieces of the old granite. I would highly recommend Serge's company. The level of workmanship was beyond reproach. If you have a granite or quartz in your future plans, PLEASE go to Granite Countertops and more and let them at least look at your job. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT. read more

Remodeling two bathrooms and came in for vanities and countertops. Everyone I dealt with was very nice and helpful (Serge, Alex, Victoria). The quoted price was WAY less than we were expecting for high quality cabinets/tops. The cabinets are dove tail, soft close and beautiful colors, everything we were looking for. I would not re hire this company. This is long, sorry about that, but if you are thinking of spending thousands of bucks on a countertop , then you probably need to read this. be aware -- there are some honesty problems with them. I hired them because i read rave reviews of "Serge", but i never met Serge, I only dealt with a co owner named Alex. We went to the shop and Alex gave a quote of $500 for a bathroom countertop if we dropped it off ourselves. Ok, we agreed to that. We had a marble slab, 2 cm, that had already been used as a buffet countertop, and was almost the perfect size already. Alex said, the $500 was for "complete installation , with undermount sink. " I asked, "What if we use an overmount sink, usually less $. " He said, exactly, "I will take off $125 if you choose overmount sink." When my daughter came back to their office, to drop off the overmount sink, Alex said, ok, the price is $420. ? We both knew right then, here's a person who is willing to cheat you , even on a small amount. My daughter questioned him, saying, $500 - $125 is only $375 ------not $420. Alex replied.... ok,,.... $400. We knew then, it was not going to be an honest business to deal with. Alex gave her a handwritten sheet of paper with this estimate $400 written on it. He signed and dated it, and it said, "complete installation. " It went on this same way for the entire transaction. When the guys came to install it ( the first time ), they said, ok, its an extra $100 to remove the old formica countertop. When she called and complained about this extra charge, Alex did something very shady..... he emailed over an estimate , with the $100 charge , post dated it ,so that it appeared that he gave it to her when she first came in there. However, we were both at his shop, and we had never seen this one , written on a lined, excel type estimate sheet! She emailed back to him a picture of the one with his signature , saying $400 complete installation. Alex did not reply. He was lying about that "estimate" for that extra $100. She got someone else to remove the old countertop. Unbelievably, there's more bad news to this story..... I had told her, that marble is thin, and you will need a plywood support. She had emailed him, several times, that a plywood support will be required. He never responded about that . To no surprise, when the countertop guys came to install yesterday, they said, Alex had specifically said, no plywood. Alex said, only if the customer goes out and BUYS the plywood themselves, and ACTUALLY HAS IT CUT TO EXACT SIZE, would the guys do the ply wood. Unbelievable. The install guys did a good job, as much as I could tell, but I would never suggest you deal with this company. These are exact details of our interaction with them. We are going to do the entire kitchen later on, and this was good that we know to search out some other company. read more

Do yourself a favor and look no further! My husband and I used Granite Countertops & More to install quartz countertops in our kitchen and they did a fantastic job- the attention to detail and professional service was incredible (and we have dealt with other countertop companies before). Alex and Victoria were excellent at communicating and went above and beyond to help us with any questions/concerns we had. Angel and his team did a great job installing the countertops and waterfall bar. We have had them do several counters, and an undermount bathtub surround in granite, as well as tile work in three different bathroom remodels. Alex, one of the owners was very easy to work with and responsive to all questions. All work was done to excellent standards by knowledgeable workmen. We are in Central Oregon and the estimate from Granite Countertops was less than half what the locals wanted. We were very pleased with the outcome in every bathroom. We recently had Granite Countertops & More help us with updating both of our bathrooms. They installed new countertops and sinks and flooring in both bathrooms. The countertops are beautiful. I appreciate the care Serg took to make sure they were a good fit because this is an older home. In the master bathroom we did the demo for the shower. We had the new shower tiled and it looks great. Max did all of the tile work and we couldn't ask for a more professional look. His work is excellent. Mila was ever so helpful in selecting the tile for this project. She was so patient with me when I came back multiple times to critique my selection. The process took a little longer than we were told it would, but it was worth the wait. Had Granite Countertops and More, LLC install granite countertops for us a few weeks ago. The countertops are gorgeous and we love them. However, this company also did the demolition of our old countertops. They broke our dishwasher, cracked our garbage disposal and left the water on under our sink after disconnecting the disposal. The water destroyed the bottom of our cabinet. They have refused to take any responsibility. Also, they scratched our hardwood floor beyond belief and scuffed our stove. I ran our dishwasher twice the day before they came to demolish the old countertops and it worked great. No issues. After it was put back in, the door wouldn't latch and it wouldn't turn on. One of the employees from GC&M tried to fix it to no avail. He recommended having a plumber look at it when the plumber came to hook up the sink, faucet, disposal and dishwasher. A plumber came out to install everything and spent over an hour trying to fix the dishwasher. He got the door to latch enough that it would turn on but wasn't sealing properly and leaked all over the hardwood floor. He recommended replacing the dishwasher or trying to have it repaired by an appliance repair person. He also told us that our disposal was cracked and we needed to buy a new one. The disposal also was operational the day before the demo. I called Alex at GC&M and explained the situation with the dishwasher and them leaving the water turned on under our sink. He brought an industrial fan to help dry out under our sink and said that "he didn't want to say that his demolition team broke our dishwasher and he didn't want to say that they didn't". He recommended we call an appliance repair and have them come look at it and let him know. He also said he'd have a cabinet maker repair our cabinet for us. I called 3 different repair companies- one wouldn't touch it (said they didn't want to get in the middle of a contractor dispute and that a 5 year old dishwasher is a "throw-away), the second wouldn't call back (tried twice to call them) and the third said they couldn't be out for 3 weeks and it would be $89 just to diagnose the problem. We decided to buy a new dishwasher. We also had to buy a new garbage disposal. Yesterday, my husband went to pay the final bill for the countertops and Alex and his "associates" refused to take any responsibility for the dishwasher and didn't address the cabinet in any way. We didn't even bring up the disposal or the floors because they obviously wouldn't take responsibility for that either. GC&M has a great selection of beautiful granite. But when they say they'll demo the old countertops (at a considerable cost), what they should say is they'll demo your entire kitchen. Stay away from this company. It's worth it to go somewhere else where you may have to pay a bit more for them to put in your countertops. read more
