Believe it or not, I'm giving a contractor a 5 Star Rating!! If anything can go wrong, usually it will happen when doing something MAJOR to your house. We got a quote, liked it and drove to Salem from Eugene to pick out our granite for our kitchen and two upstairs bathrooms. When we gave them the green light, Sue and her crew sprung into action. They came out and verified our measurements and did the templates. "It will be 7-10 working days but we will call you". 7 days later, we got the call they were cutting the slabs so we drove up to Salem to get with Dave the perfectionist as to what slab we wanted where and to make sure the flow of the granite was going to look good. It didn't look good once they were installed, instead they looked GREAT! There were a few little mix-ups here and there, but nothing to keep this company and crew from getting a 5 Star as it was well earned. I actually referred my Aunt to these folks before I had my installation (she lives in Vancouver, WA), and she was totally impressed (no, she's not a Yelper). You will like their price but you will more than likely like their quality and customer service even more! read more

We went with Keystone Granite after getting a couple quotes from other companies. They were 1/3rd the price of one and a couple thousand dollars less than the quote we received from Home Depot. I highly recommend this company and wanted to share both my pros and cons. Pros: Price: As I mentioned above, they are very affordable. Their pricing is also very straight forward, and we received a quote within a couple hours of submitting the details of our project. Communication: Before we contacted Keystone, we were going to go with Home Depot's contractor. But they were slow in communicating through email and passed us around to 4-5 people when we called. Not so with Keystone. Jill was our contact, communicated quickly with us through email, and was available when we called. Friendly/Professional Service: Everyone we came into contact with was professional, friendly, and helpful. This ranges from getting our quote to picking out our slabs of granite to demolition to install. Cons: Measurements: Our backsplash wasn't cut right the first time, so they had to come back out. However, it worked out well for us since one of the sinks we'd ordered from another company was cracked and had to be replaced, and they were able to install the replacement while installing the backsplash. Cleanliness: While the demo team had a shop vac with them, they left A LOT of debris behind. There were cut up boards left in the drawers, sawdust in the drawers and on the floor, etc. The install team also left a lot of debris including some silicone spilled on the floor, fragments of granite under the counter and on the floors, even the plugs from the holes they cut out for the faucets. I highly recommend this company. Having to spend 30 minutes cleaning up after them was a con, but we saved thousands of dollars over their competitors. read more

How hard could it be to find a good granite place in Portland??? Well, had to go to Salem if that answers your question. Well worth it though. Received quotes from 6-8 local shops and Keystone by far had the best price and most importantly, the best transparency. You know exactly how much each line item is from edging to backsplash to sinks to material differences. Many shops provided a 1-line quote and some shops changed with every communication. Keystone was great from start to finish. Went through the slab warehouse that had a great selection. Still didn't see anything we liked. Drove over to Elemar in Tigard and found one single slab we liked out of the hundreds there. Told Keystone and they took care of the rest. Template came out in 3 weeks. He was very professional, respectful, and personable. Install came the following week. Crew was really good. Even their competitors can't say much bad about them other than, "Sorry, we can't compete with Keystone". We saved part of our slab to use later and will certainly be going back for that and more. Dealt with a handful of representatives but Alicia was our main contact and was great, as was Sue. Every person we dealt with was great and responsive. The ONLY thing I would have improved upon was a time window for install. We got our date confirmed but never got a time slot; didn't have to wait too long for installer though. Only thing I wished we would have done is taken a bit more time to go through design with them. Our old counter was flush with our mirror and the granite is a bit smaller due to edging and material change causing the mirror to stick out over the edge of the counter a few inches on one end. Nothing they did wrong, just something we could have caught if we weren't so excited to finish the project. read more

I did some comparison shopping and Keystone was the best deal and had excellent communications throughout the process. They will bring you samples when they come to do the template. The man who did our template was very nice and thorough on all the measurements. We took out our own counters to save money but you can also hook up your sink until the counters are installed which was very fast, like 5 days. They came out on time and did an excellent job, I refer them to anyone who wants quality work done. read more

Keystone has the lowest prices in Oregon, and you may be thinking they must have crap, but they don't. We went to Keystone and picked out our product, sent over and outline of our kitchen via fax to Becky. They gave us a quote for the product (quartz) we chose which was very reasonable. We paid a 50% deposit and they scheduled the template to come out 1 week later. He came (cant remember his name) did a great job very professional. 2 Weeks later we had our counters installed. Fernando did the job with his team, and it turned out great. Would use and recommend them over and over. People with negative reviews about the time it took, clearly don't have an understand of this industry and a 2 week turn-around time is rather fast. The Keystone guys installed our counter tops last week and we are tremendously pleased. We are shoppers who don't usually buy from the first place we visit but we did this time. We checked out Keystone and got their estimate then went to two other local businesses and found Keystone to have the best prices and greatest selection. We were scheduled for a measurement and he was actually on time then we were scheduled for a delivery much sooner than promised and again the guys were on time. We've found this to be a rare thing in the construction business! The three young men who installed our whole house with quartz were very professional and even graciously tolerated a very excited homeowner buzzing around them. We had to have the counters cut in two places due to size and now we are unable to see where the seams are. To say we're pleased is putting it mildly. Thank you, Keystone!! read more

Great customer service. Had a small vanity that I needed with a sink attached. Great price for the quartz counter I chose. Try to go during the week since the weekends are insane and it's hard to get service. It took a little over 3 weeks to get my counter instead of 1 - 2 weeks as told by the rep. Thank goodness i didnt need the counter right away so it worked out. That was my only reason why I gave them 4 stars. I highly recommend them. read more

My husband and I were looking to replace the kitchen counter tops in our new home and we were drawn to keystone for their reasonable prices. We were needing some guidance as we have never made a purchase like this before and we appreciated the honesty and professionalism we received when we made our selection at the showroom. The demo was quick and they did a great job of cleaning up after themselves. We were very impressed with the instal crew, they came on Halloween and realized they had mistakenly cut the hole for the sink too small, they returned quickly to complete the installation that same day. I appreciated that the job was done in one day, they could have easily pushed us out as I'm sure the mistake caused them to work later than they wanted on Halloween but they made sure the job was done and done right. The installers just finished with the countertops and I could not be happier. The guys showed up early, laid down covering to protect the flooring and got right to work. I had them adjust the holes a bit for the bathroom faucets but that was the only thing that the guys had to adjust or redo. I asked how long this crew had been installing counters and the answer was 18 years. Their professional work and attitude showed that they knew what they were doing. The over all experience from the showroom to install was great. Please understand that you will be without sinks from the time of doing the tear out/template until install and you or a plumber must do that work. Totally happy. read more

So we don't get many days off, and don't live near Salem, but this place had come highly recommended--we figured we would drive down on a Sunday and check it out. EXCEPT THEY'RE NOT OPEN ON SUNDAYS. Duh! Shoulda checked the website! Here I am on I-5, just calling to confirm the address, and Sue answers the phone...she's just picking up the mail and heading out the door, and the showroom is closed on Sundays. So what does Sue do? She STAYS THERE, on her DAY OFF, waits for us, then spends a couple hours explaining everything (we needed to be educated--we know nothing about countertops) and helps us wade through decisions. I sent her flowers, I was so thankful for her time and kindness. She put up with my kids, who decided to be little punks, and was so incredibly sweet and kind to us...absolutely no pressure on the sale--she was so great and really knowledgeable! Seems like this is a hidden gem in Salem with VERY REASONABLE prices. They're wonderful! Sorry you had to spend so much time on your day off with us--but we really do appreciate it, Sue! read more

Bought granite counter-tops in April....still have yet to receive them. Great sales people and nice slabs (she gets 5 stars), however, the scheduling is horrible. They were 10 days late doing the template and demo (the guys who came out were great 5 stars for them as well), and so far 10 days later I have still not heard from them. So if your not in any sort of a timeline, and can be without a kitchen/bathroom or water for 2-3 months...use them. But if you need those things in less time, well I won't again. read more

Keystone replaced the counters in my kitchen and two bathroom vanities and I could not be happier with the results. I took a chance and picked neutral granite and Quartz patterns over the Internet/phone to avoid driving to Salem and the counters and backsplash all look fantastic. The backsplash is measured/installed to cover the preexisting backsplash, which was extremely helpful. The counters were installed exactly 7 days from the date the templates were made and the price was very reasonable, as I received two other quotes. The people who measured and installed used blankets to cover the floors, too. I would definitely recommend Keystone. read more
