We stopped in after horseback riding for a late breakfast, they were a bit short staffed but Emily and her team kept on top of it! The food was great, we all agreed that we were glad we stopped in! Can't wait to come back! Update: My card was charged twice, so be careful of that

There was a small wait before being greeted at the door. Once I sat down, I was taken care of right away. The food was made to order. My potatoes came out cold. I let my waitress know. She apologized and had a fresh plate delivered to my table in minutes. The pancakes were probably the best I've ever had. The outside had a perfect crunch while the inside was super fluffy. I ordered grits and didnt have a chance to fix them up. They were delicious with just butter after eating my pancakes and potatoes. They played old school videos on the TV. You pay upfront. I can't wait to go back.

The cinnamon pancake is to die for. Sunday mornings are slammed, so be prepared for some waiting. But the food is fantastic. The dining area is pretty typical found object diner. We will go back for sure.

One of my favorite diners in Indiana. Great service, been open for 40 years.. Great breakfast, food and service!

Corned beef hash, better than it looks! Good country fried potatoes and chunks of corned beef. Finally, I found some not out of the can! The gravy I saw go by looked good too. I'll have to go bake and try it. The hash is an occasional treat, $17.25 expensive because they don't hold back on the meat, quality costs and it's worth it. Comfortable and friendly place.

OMG, why haven't I tried this little diner before? Honestly! I stopped in this morning and was greeted with happy faces and the smell of fresh coffee. Went simple with the pancake breakfast, and oh my! The grits were spot-on perfect. The eggs were to order, and the pancakes ... THE PANCAKES ... the sweet crème they roll with are something special! They were crisp, sweet, and hearty! Was thoroughly impressed, so give them a shot if you're in the area!

If you have a sweet tooth get the cinnamon roll pancakes. I think they taste better than a cinnamon roll.

Pretty, pretty, pretty good breakfast place. With a very unassuming and unpretentious on both the inside and the outside, with very hard-working staff, we still had a very solid experience. We were impressed with the variety of choices that the menu offered, we had a really hard time choosing our meals. Shoutout to the people I was with who agreed to quasi share all our meals. I really liked the corned beef hash I got, and the Bill's Breakfast my friend (not named Bill) got. My husband got the chicken and waffles with the h it honey upgrade. This was the weakest of the dishes, and the honey was just mixed with hot sauce. We still ate and enjoyed it though. Overall, this was a surprisingly good experience. My not-named-Bill friend is a local and said he may have found a new place to be a regular at. Give them a try!

Not even sure we knew this place existed before today. Doing brunch with good friends today and they came up with Keystone Diner. Not sure if there was a wait or not since our friends were seated when we got there. There was definitely a wait later. Food was kinda your typical Diner fair, which done right is great. Our server was friendly and drinks and refills were always there. Food didn't take long to get and I loved the open kitchen. Food ordered was: Earls Simple Breakfast ( Bacon, Two eggs, biscuit and Added a side of gravy ) Breakfast Bowl ( Hash browns, onions and sausage topped with 2 scrambled eggs then smothered with sausage gravy and shredded cheddar, w toast) Build Your Own Omelet ( ham, bacon, sausage and cheddar cheese) and Eggs Benedict with country ham. No one had any food complaints. Portions were good size and everyone was full. Very much a dive but dives always have the best food. We will be back.

A work of edible art -- crispy rye hugging tender corned beef like it was saying "don't ever leave me." Spoiler: I didn't. We also tackled a basket of fried glory -- fries, jalapeño poppers, mushrooms, probably some hush puppies sent from heaven. Each bite whispered, "You'll need a nap after this," and I listened. The sauces? Four tiny cups of personality. BBQ sauce with swagger, honey mustard with attitude, ranch that knew its worth, and ketchup just happy to be here. We started with coffee and fresh squeezed orange juice, and you can immediately tell they don't cut corners--the OJ tasted bright, fresh, and totally worth it. Now let's talk about the food... because WOW. The Signature Pancake Platter was unreal--fluffy, golden, melt-in-your-mouth pancakes that honestly might be some of the best I've had. Adding the soft poached eggs took it to another level (that perfect yolk ), and the hash browns were crispy on the outside, soft on the inside--exactly how they should be. We also ordered the West Coast Omelet with feta, and it was packed with flavor--super fresh ingredients, cooked perfectly, and a generous portion. And yes... we had to add extra pancakes (no regrets), which were just as amazing the second time around. Shoutout to our server JJ, who was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. Service like that really stands out. Everything came out hot, fresh, and quickly, and the portions are more than generous for the price. You definitely won't leave hungry. The benches were the only downside, it is definitely time to replace them! But tables were clean and cute inside. My husband tried the breaded pork tenderloin sandwich with fries. Jimmy batters and fries the tenderloin right before your eyes. The sandwich is hearty and juicy. I had the fried chicken lunch special which comes with mashed potatoes, green beans and toast. The plate was huge. I'm a connoisseur of mashed potatoes and these mashed potatoes were made fresh with bits of red skin and topped with a creamy gravy. The chicken was moist inside with a crispy coating. We were greeted right away and looked over the menu a bit before ordering. My husband ordered the country breakfast with chicken (definitely the way to go) and I ordered the cheesy jalapeño grits with bacon. We each got a cup for water and I ordered a coffee, excited because I saw ahead of going that it was self-serve (like at Cafe Patachou where I can get as many coffees as I like without having to wait for our server to come check on us first). However, the self serve coffee excitement was short-lived after seeing that they only offered half and half as creamer (I'm lactose intolerant) and the two coffee carafes were not labeled for what was inside (decaf? medium roast? you'll never know!) and then one was completely empty and never refilled during our visit. The water station also was not ever refilled during our visit, so we were not able to get refills after filling up our cups the first time. It took a couple of tries to find a table we could sit at because you seat yourself, but several had not been cleaned after other guests left and had food and drinks spilled on them. There were definitely enough staff members there to be able to clean them in between customers, so we weren't sure why they were left that way. We ended up sitting in the middle of the room towards the front, across from the clown art wall, which made for interesting conversation as we looked through everything. When the food came out I was impressed with the portions, but I had no flavor whatsoever to my cheesy jalepeno grits. The egg and bacon were good, but not enough to make it a good dish and I would not order it again. And I love savory breakfast and grits in general, so it was a real bummer. My husband's dish was worth the visit though. It was a huge portion size and we honestly would just split it if we came back and ordered it. It was so savory, seasoned perfectly, and juicy. One of the best breakfast dishes I have tried recently! I really debated between 3-4 stars for this, but my dish was a flop, the lack of cleanliness for the seating area, the lackluster self-serve coffee station, and not refilling the beverages ultimately scored a 3 star review for me. I would come back and try something else though, or split the country chicken breakfast because it was really good. Hopefully next time the beverages won't be empty!
