Jerry is one of a kind and has your best interests in mind. He takes his time and does it the right way. He explains the science behind what is going on which I really appreciate. Jerry is helping me with my Audi A5 that unfortunately had multiple wiring harnesses chewed through by mice. Several other mechanics tried and failed to fix the issue. Jerry has been great and my car is running much better than before he began working on it. I do have to go back to have a few codes fixed but he's been very responsive and professional with all my questions. keep up the amazing work, Jerry! read more

Jerry has assisted me a number of times over a period of years with three different vehicles. The first was a 1999 Toyota Avalon, the next a 2005 Toyota Sienna, and the third a Ram PU. All three are still running just fine with the Sienna having over 214,000 miles. He has saved me thousands of dollars by simply fixing what wasn't really broke but rather by diligently examining the problem, with all the repairs requiring, not replacement parts as other mechanics said was needed, but rather some loving care at a very reasonable price. Again saving me thousands. An honest man and an excellent electrical mechanic. Just who you want in a time of automobile need. J. Moeller W.C. read more

This is a treasure of a business. I had an ABS issue with my Honda Accord and was told by a Honda Dealership that I would need to pay approximately $3000 to get the issue fixed. Keystone auto electrical fixed this issue for roughly a third of the price with quick turn around. These guys are true gentleman, honest, and care about the customer. You will not go wrong with these guys. Many thanks again! read more

Keystone provided outstanding service to my Honda Accord 5 speed. Jerry was able to correct an electrical issue which the dealer could not fix for four times. He is professional, thorough, and communicates frequently when addressing the problem. The best. 10 stars for Keystone. read more

Jerry is a wizard with auto electrical systems. I was referred to him by my regular mechanic for a possible frayed wire related to the 2007 4Runner O2 sensors. Jerry efficiently diagnosed the issue and repaired it thoroughly for a fair price. He also helped me deal with the insurance company to get the repair reimbursed since it was due to mouse damage. I will be using Jerry from now on for any electrical problems. read more

We went to Jerry at keystone auto electrical.he was our last resort. Wish we would have gone to him first. We threw away $1500 on a battery ,starter & alternator and still the battery was being drained. We took it to Jerry & within two days he figured out. An after market starter was disconnected but not completely from the battery which over time continued to drain the system. We are grateful for Jerry!! read more

I came across this company after buying a new battery that the service guy installed. It ran well for about a week before the car just would not start again whenever I turned it off. So after jump starting it I took it to Keystone Electrical where he discovered that the terminals seemed a little loose and that it might be the problem. But he tested the circuitry anyway and determined that it was the problem. A lot of mechanics would've said it was something major and cheated me out of money. But Jerry instead proved himself to be honest and forthright in a world where that's rare. Thought more people should know about him. read more

My park lights only worked on one side I thought I had a short drive 25 min to his shop he was friendly and knowledgeable. He figured it out in minutes it was something simple. So simple he didn't charge. That's honesty. Many mechanics would've took advantage and charged me a mint. He did not. Thank you very much! read more

I went with my father to pick up his vehicle after getting it fixed. My family has been seeing Jerry for a while and never disappoints. He takes the time to thoroughly explain what's going on, what he found, and what he fixed. Honest man! We don't even live in West Chester, but we make the 35 minute drive just to see him! read more

This place is absolutely amazing. After 3 shops looked at my car for a total of 3 weeks without fixing it, Jerry at Keystone Electrical fixed my car in 3 hours! This guy is some kind of doctor-detective-artist-engineer-wizard of a mechanic. He's also a clear and courteous communicator, and an honest business man. If your car has an electric issue of any sort, don't waste your time and money anywhere else. Jerry is a down-to-earth genius of all things wired and well worth the trip from Philly. read more

Keystone Auto Electrical - Auto Repair Near Me - West Chester, Pennsylvania

I have a 1985 Jeep CJ7 with a 92 chevy V8. Any normal "chain store" auto mechanic won't even talk to me, and the few times I have left it with a mechanic I received a big bill and no help. I found Keystone Auto Electrical after 6 months of unsuccessfully replacing parts. It took only a day and a half for Jerry to find the issue and fix it. My Jeep has literally never run as good as it does now. But that's how every thing ended up. How we started, that was what I found most impressive. Jerry spent at least 15 minutes on the phone with me the very first time I called and walked through what parts were in it, what symptoms I was having, and what I had replaced. He offered trouble shooting suggestions without even seeing my Jeep for free over the phone. That was when I realized I had finally found an honest mechanic. I've talked to other places that immediately reply with "sure just tow it in" just because they are happy to bill me for absolutely everything. I found the cost of their work totally reasonable and would do it again in a heartbeat. This is the shop you've been looking for. read more

Your a fool if you don't get in contact with this guy for any auto electric issues! I've been coming to him since I was in college which was over 15 years ago! I promise you will it be disappointed! He was one of the only places in the US that focuses on auto electric alone and also a great guy to connect with! read more

I've been taking my vehicles to Jerry for 15 years and his work is always first rate. He replaced in tank fuel pump in a Toyota Avalon, rewired my camper lighting and figured out how to get my motorhome's hot water 3-way switch rewired after I fried it. I would trust him with any vehicle electrical problem and be confident that he would be able to repair it better, faster and cheaper than anyone else. read more

I have a 1977 Datsun 280Z that had a slew of mysterious electrical issues that were a result of the previous owner's aftermarket wiring work. Other shops didn't want to touch it and Keystone had it fixed perfectly in 3 days. Can't say enough good things about Jerry and Keystone. read more

I was referred to to this place by another company. They told me that they are to only place to go if you need electrical work. They were right. I had to rent a car for the day and the rental company did not have it together and I needed to be at an appointment by a certain time. Jerry the owner offered to drive me to the car rental place if they did not show up on time. That is customer service! They fixed my car faster than promised and had me on my way. I can't say enough good things about them. E.F. read more

I took my car to Keystone after I was having some issues caused by a poor stereo installer. Jerry at Keystone was able to diagnose the issue and found out that my car thought it was being stolen. He removed the poor wiring and watched the car over a few days to ensure that the problem didn't come back. The whole thing wasn't too expensive and they gave me a call a week later to check in and make sure that I wasn't experiencing any problems. Jerry is honest, and have integrity. If you're having electrical issues in your car, don't take it to a mechanic or the dealership. Go to Jerry and Keystone. read more

I had been having an intermittent starting problem for a few years with my 1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass with LS1 engine swap. Took car back to original installer of motor and they could not find problem after several attempts. Found out about Keystone after quick Google search for automotive electrical experts in Philadelphia area. Called Jerry and he spent several minutes with me on phone to run some quick diagnostics and ask several questions. After a few simple ideas that did not work I brought car over. Jerry was methodical, very detail oriented and would not give up until he found the problem (2 separate issues actually). Both related to bad connectors which I would have never found on my own. When finished he spent much time explaining his process of diagnosis and repair. Jerry is a true professional and I admire his intelligence and organized approach to researching and repairing these complex problems. I will definitely take any vehicle back to him in future if ever needed. One happy customer! read more

These guys are so professional I had a problem with my power inverter I called and they helped me fix it over the phone! No charge! They were so patient with me and they even called back to make sure it was working. Nicest people, and you could tell they knew there stuff. New cars are full of electric systems and a normal mechanic doesn't have a clue how to fix them. They just want to sell you new parts, these guys are very different. I will be going to them again. read more

I drove 5 - 6 hours round trip from North Jersey to Pa to have Keystone fix my car. Two years ago the spoiler bar wouldn't go down on my car and something was causing a battery drain. Two batteries later I took it to my mechanic who couldn't find the problem. I took it to the dealership. Three days later and a good amount of money they said "we don't know why, but if you take the light out of the trunk the drain stops and the bar goes down". Enough money spent so I left it like that. But when it rained the ABS brake system lights and brake lights would go on. About 4 months ago the driver's side window wouldn't go up. I found that if I hit a bump hard enough the window would go back up again. If I hit a bump again the window wouldn't go up and so back and forth it went. I am not kidding, I literally had to speed into potholes to get the window up, it was insane. Took it to my mechanic who said it was an electrical problem and wires in the dashboard were crossing and coming apart when I hit a bump, he wanted to take off the dash and try fix the problem. I knew it was past him and the dealership wasn't good either. Then the battery drain and bar problem came back, the doors wouldn't lock, you couldn't move the seats, the convertible top didn't work, everything electrical stopped working. ABS brake light system and brake lights were on all the time. I knew I desperately needed a top notch electrical mechanic. I needed someone who did electrical problems only. Keystone was that place. It was the best thing I could have done. Jerry was great, he is detailed, logical, competent and he took the time to really investigate. He asked me questions followed the circuits, asked questions and always let me know exactly what was going on financially. I always knew exactly where I stood. He found the problem. An electrical connector in the back wheel area was out of place and would get wet. As corrosion got worse so did the car. Jerry is a great detective. My car is working great. It was well worth the trip and I don't think I will ever go to anyone else, they are that good. Deborah S. read more

I can't say enough good things about Keystone and Jerry, who runs it. After several weeks of great frustration, taking my car from place to place, trying to figure things out, I was referred to Keystone since I had a specific electrical issue. Jerry called me back almost immediately, spent time with me on the phone, listening to my story, never made me feel dumb, and said he'd do all that he could to help. He communicated well, keeping me posted about his findings and my car was fixed in 3-4 days at a reasonable price. He was friendly, kind, personable, and helpful. I highly recommend Keystone and Jerry! read more
