I took my vehicle, a 2017 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid, to this repair shop for an oil change. According to…read moreToyota's official maintenance schedule, this vehicle requires an oil change every 10,000 miles when using 0W-20 full synthetic oil. However, the shop performed and charged for two oil changes within an interval of approximately 5,000 miles. I was not informed that the second oil change was unnecessary based on the manufacturer's recommendations, nor was I given a technical explanation justifying an early oil change. At no point was I advised that the service was redundant or optional. Had I been properly informed, I would not have authorized the second oil change. I attempted to contact the shop by phone and left a voicemail requesting clarification, but I did not receive a response. I believe this reflects a lack of transparency and failure to obtain informed consent for an unnecessary service. If you can't trust this shop with an oil change, image any other service.

I was thinking it was having power issues because of the alternator or something...but I know nothing. John was very easy to deal with, has a night drop AND night pick up system which I utilized. The greatest thing about John though was that he called me, sought more information to correctly diagnosis, and then after driving the car around and checking things out decided that he was not confident in what the issue was and decided it may have been a fluke and that he wasn't comfortable making a repair that he wasn't 100% sure was the actual issue.
