The owner's last name is Bryant and he uses the Bryant brand's logo on his truck, but he is not a recommend Bryant factory repairman, which I did not realize at the time. I was happy he could fit me in for same day service and he even arrived early. In the first 2 minutes he told me my whole motor was out on my 12 year old furnace & that it would be a very expensive repair, but after looking at it for a few more minutes he saw the motor came on and told me it must be a bad pressure switch. He had the part on hand in his truck, fixed it in 15 minutes and came upstairs to give me my electronic bill - on his phone. He never quoted me a price, estimate, anything, just presented a bill once done. I was charged $265 for the pressure switch repair, plus $112 for a furnace cleaning, plus a $89 diagnostic fee. I just paid the bill- what was I to do?? I feel the price was high for a $100 retail part & 15 minute fix! He did quote me a maintenance service contract of $140 a year to inspect the air conditioner in the summer & furnace in the fall, yet when I asked about it the next day, the price went up to $180!! While I am happy the furnace is working now, I feel like Ron took advantage of me. Too bad, because I could have recommend him for more work. I will call another company next time and tell my neighbors of my experience with Bryant.

They were there just over an hour later, and tried to fix it, with no luck. (It was old, and had water damage from years back.) So, they recommended a new one. We checked things out, went over their options, and got a decent one, mid-range, hoping it would be in before the cold snap next week. They showed up this morning and we had heat by afternoon. Each person was professional and laid-back, not pushing sales too hard. From service to sales to install, they were great. The install guys, all of them really, dealt with our menagerie well. We paid upfront but they have financing that seemed decent, and service plans of various types. The furnace warranty is pretty good.

I never balked at the price because I didn't realize there was a better one available - I could not get anyone to come do the work because it was an AquaTherm furnace and they preferred easier jobs that weren't as complicated. Mike from ThermaPros came out super quickly to inspect and began work almost right away. He finished the project in less than two days after all of the parts were in.
