Not what we signed up for. Our group signed up for the "haunted" pub crawl. First, the tour guide Sarah must sincerely dislike her job because she was rude and condescending. She could try communicating better than she wouldn't be so annoyed when people don't do what she wants. The tour started with a ghostly story, but that was it. It turned into island history, which was cool but not exactly what we paid for. Our group ended up leaving the tour after the 3rd stop. read more

Update: Owner apparently only skims reviews prior to commenting. I said Sarah was yelling at people IN THE RESTAURANT about blocking walkways. She blew her whistle at people who were quietly talking to each other in an alley while she droned on with a boring anecdote because she was butt hurt they didn't want to listen to her. Reading is fundamental. We did the pub crawl as a shore excursion with our cruise. The guy who checked us in was friendly enough but the women passing out the shirts really were not. They seemed annoyed that people weren't sure where to go/what to do. Our guide was Sarah and she was insufferable. In addition to her annoying voice, she ordered everyone around like an angry school teacher that needed to retire - right down to blowing a whistle. There were mounted police outside one of the bars and Sarah told everyone we would wait for the horses to leave before we crossed the street. She said not to block the walkway which I assume many people must have thought she meant the sidewalk. When we went inside, some people lined up at the bar. Instead of telling everyone where to wait and directing them, she just kept repeatedly SCREAMING at everyone not to block the walkway. Later when she was telling another (eye roll) story, a couple people were talking to each other and Sarah started blowing her whistle as if they were naughty children on the playground - not GROWN ADULTS WHO PAID FOR THIS EXPERIENCE. The bars and bartenders were pretty good except for Irish Kevin's. The female bartenders acted really put out for something that was paid for. No hello, no thank you, no garnish, no straw. They sure pushed that tip cup in front of us but we decided to match their energy and pass on the tip since we didn't want to be troubled either. The positives: we got a decent t-shirt and Hard Rock gave us free, albeit ugly, glasses. The bartender there seemed awfully tip hungry for someone who poured a premade drink from a pitcher. The rest of the bartenders were pretty friendly though. Overall, we wish we would have bar hopped on our own. It would have been much more pleasant and we heard others saying the same. This was my absolute favorite thing we did in Key West. First of all, for the cost - totally worth it. 5 drinks and a shirt for about $35 - sign me up! We started at the meeting point where we met with the rest of the group and got our t-shirts. We headed off to the first bar, where we each got a frozen drink. We stayed at each bar for about 30 minutes - which was enough to have a drink and check out the vibe of the bar. The next bar was the Hard Rock. This was the only disappoint of the bar crawl and it was purely on the bartender. I got my drink first (the hurricane was recommended). Once the bartender realized that we were with the pub crawl, he actively went out of his way to ignore the rest of our group and was extremely rude. It was so bad that another guest had to point out that we had been waiting in order for the remainder of the group to be served. Needless to say, we didn't stay there long. We had a great time learning about the history of the area and the different bars. We all had shots at the 4th location as we were celebrating a lot of birthdays in our group. Plus there was some fun Key West trivia. We ended up at Dirty Harry's, where the tour ended. Most of us ended up staying to listen to the band and continue the night. Our tour guide (I want to say it was Mike) did a fantastic job and we had an amazing time. My only recommedation would be to remove Hard Rock and replace it with a bar that is actually interested in hosting pub crawl groups. The bartender there left such a sour taste that we were glad to move on. Our guide did say that this particular bartender is always an issue. If that's the case, ditch Hard Rock as a stop. Overall, I'd absolutely do this again and will recommed it to anyone visiting the area! read more

There is no way I can ever top last night! This pub crawl was hands-down the best and most fun tour we've ever done. We had 5 cocktails total and a cute tee shirt. But we made so many new friends. When the pub crawl was over, about 20 of us stayed and partied and had a blast. Take this tour. You will not be disappointed. Julie was our guide and she was a doll. Really fun tour. Sarah told stories, handed out drinks, and kept us all moving. All the Bartenders were great and the bars, even better. This is a must do while in Key West. You have to go open minded, and ready to have fun, even if you have to instigate it. Night started out with flooding streets and thunderstorms. we were not sure "the hook" for doing this until we hit the first bar. On a Friday night or Sat night when bars could be busy, to be able to skip lines and have private seating was worth the price of admission alone. Julie was awesome, such a nice person and had tons of great stories. For people considering the tour to do this in two hours or so is a stretch, for an enjoyable leisurely evening just roll with it. I think our night was like 3 or 3.5 hours. Of course if it goes too long you can just peel off and walk home. We wondered why we were doing it and the size of the group was large, legit as we walked to the first bar I was like "we will get our first drink amd disappear" but Julie was so engaging amd we had so much fun that we stick with it. Make sure to hit Durty at the end, by that time of night the people watching was FANTASTIC!! Lastly for the love of all things PLEASE take enough money to leave 5 or so bucks at each bar for the bartenders and make sure to save about 20 for Julie or whomever your guide is, they are working for tips and there were too many people not taking care of their service folks amidst the pandemic. read more

I wish I could give a 0 star review. I got food poisoning (it was not alcohol related as I didn't drink that day) before our tour and they were unable to give us a refund. Only a gift certificate (which we can't even access) that's helpful as who knows when we'll be back in the Keys. You would think during Covid they would be happy to have someone who is sick not around spreading germs but I guess that would have been better than losing my money. read more

This was my first pub crawl. I had a blast. Julie was our guide and with our small group it felt like close friends out for the night. Julie did trivia along the way and shared bits of KW history. They brought us to a frozen place first, a dead hard rock hotel bar and the famous Schooner Wharf Bar - where we opted out of the tour and just stayed to enjoy music and a great view. This tour is not only a good value, but a lot of fun too. The tour guides give you a little rundown on each venue visited, making it a great introduction to Duval Street if you're a newbie to the area. We went to five places and not only were drinks included, but each participant also gets a t-shirt to commemorate their Duval Crawl (just don't forget it at one of the bars like we did). This tour started out promising but ended up being a huge disappointment. At the fourth bar stop, the tour guide handed me the list of drink orders and tickets to pay for the drinks, told me the bartenders are a-h÷les, and said she would be out front smoking. She instructed me to bring the list and tickets to the bar in the back. I felt I was placed in a weird situation where there are several other guests on this tour expecting drinks and service and here I am left to deal with bartenders who are allegedly jerks. After finally getting the attention of one bartender who probably just felt sorry for me, he poured the drinks, set them on trays, and I was then left to carry the trays through people dancing in the bar (without spilling) and figure out who in our group ordered which drinks, going back and forth between the front bar and back room several times. I was put to work without pay or tips. Many of the other guests were not even clear that I was also a guest... not an employee of the pub crawl. Once they realized the situation I'd been placed in, they were also disappointed with the tour guide and the tour seemed to fall apart from there. Whatever the issue is between the pub crawl business and the bar, that should not be unexpectedly placed on a paying guest. The best the guide did to try to remedy the situation was half apologize, place the blame elsewhere, and tell me that she'd talk to her boss about making it right somehow, although I could tell that was an empty statement and expected nothing to come of it. I was right and she avoided me and the other guests for the rest of the night. I would NEVER recommend this pub crawl to anyone. read more

After reading some reviews on Tripadvisor, I decided to give it a shot as it seemed to be a good value. Had a huge group this past Friday night. Groups were divided into two and off we went in different directions. Our pub leader was Beau. (pronounced Bo) He was extremely funny and knowlegeable about the bars and area. He takes you on a walking tour of 5 bars. You get a drink coupon at each bar for either usually a domestic drink, well drink, and sometimes the house favorite drink. I have no complaints about the tour. It lasts 2 hours-ish and gives you a chance to go to some places that you may have not gone to before. Value wise i think it is totally worth it. $30.xx a person included the 5 drink coupons and a t-shirt. Totally worth it. Make sure to tip at the end if you had a good time read more

This is our second pub crawl and the first one was fantastic. Our guide Beau gave us a lot of history, was entertaining and very engaging. This pub crawl guide was Brian and he was lame, not funny and did nothing but take us in an alley, give us a ticket and told us the recommended drink is..... Two places didn't know we were coming and was perturbed when he showed up with us. He said he was taking us to bars we might not know of otherwise. Well if you ever been to Key West and on Duval street you've been and seen all five bars. He made crappy remarks about his girlfriend of 13 years and his daytime job. A couple drinks were good but unless you get a groupon or coupon, don't waste your money on Brian. Met a great couple from Rhode Island and the other two couples were very nice. read more

This is the best crawl ever!!!! We went to give bars and that we both enjoyed all of them as well. Brien was our tour guide and he absolutely wonderful and if there was a rating for our guide....he would get five stars as well. This bar crawl is highly recommended and would go to it again as well. We went to the ones in Las Vegas and I hate to say it....this bar crawl definitely put Las Vegas to shame for a lot of reasons that is too much to mention. Meh. So-so. Brian was our guide and he was a bit obnoxious. I think he was drunk before hand which I have nothing against. Hell, its a pub crawl. At first he was funny then he just became the annoying drunk guy. Can't complain about free drinks though! They recommend drinks at each bar but I wouldn't recommend them. Just sweet, diluted, premade fruity drinks mostly. He took us around the block to show us some history yet didn't know anything about it. Just said, "This is an old building!" Or, "Look at this cross-dressing rooster painting!" Less walking more drinking please! I came to drink, not for a walking tour of useless information. Would NOT recommend. You can easily talk to locals and get some good bars to hit up. read more

I was a bit disappointed with the lack of alcohol included with the various drinks because even though there were five stops total on the crawl I didn't even get a buzz. Other than that our guide was super cool and sweet. I would definitely suggest this tour to anyone stopping in Key West for a few hours via the Carnival Cruise, as it does past the time. However if you are trying to get a bit faded you are probably better off going to a couple of bars on your own and getting several drinks, but I do think it would be more expensive. The tour itself cost about $40.00, you figure on average drinks costs about $8-$10 not including tip so I think you would be paying a bit more however at least you wouldn't get watered down drinks. read more

We did the Key West Pub Crawl tour on our first night in Key West and had a total blast! There were eight people in our family group, some of whom were not sold on the idea of doing a pub crawl with strangers, but everyone became a true believer by the end of the night! Our tour guide, Beau, knew exactly how to pace the evening. We started out slow, but by the third bar everyone was feeling good and making friends. Beau did a great job of waiting until the right moment to start weaving in his historical tidbits (actually very interesting!) and start the conch blowing contest (super fun!). Brian was a hilarious tour guide, and we really enjoyed seeing so much of the city and getting to meet a fun group of people from all over (our tour included folks from abroad as well as the US). The conch contest was hilarious -- my husband the tuba player killed it! We really liked the frozen concoctions at Flying Monkey in particular and were impressed that our guide was able to get in such a wide variety of bars in the allotted time. I'd highly recommend doing this tour early into your trip to give you a good feel for the city and get some ideas of places you might want to visit again. Saw people doing some pretty lewd stuff at Dirty Harry's at the tour's last stop (none of them from our tour group, of course). Keep in mind that drinks in Key West are crazy spendy so this really is a good deal even though the beverages are well/domestic and typically don't include wine as an option (so if you only like wine, this is not the trip for you). Be sure to tip generously -- it boggles my mind how many people don't realize that the folks who work in the tourism industry survive almost solely on tips!
