Drop off was super easy- left my car around 9am and was able to pick it up at 1pm. I had just been camping and so I knew I had a decent amount of sediment inside. On the inside, you can purchase car cleaning supplies which was really cool. After the detail, my car looked nearly new! There was a lot of discoloration from my repeated sunblock use and they were able to remove it all. I requested the CPR detail package, which was $180, and it was so worth it! The interior and exterior were well taken care of and I was given a 40 minute heads-up call for when the car would be done. This gave me plenty of time to head over since I live out of town. I'm not so comfortable sharing pictures of my personal vehicle in the first place, you know what I mean? My pics just look like a super clean car. We were looking to upgrade our kitchen sink and faucet, but our problem was that our sink cutout was custom. New sinks wouldn't fit without making a few cuts to our countertop. The plumbers we contacted were either really busy or really expensive (meaning they wouldn't want to do it unless it's really worth their time). His rate was competitive and it was a flat rate for the job. Through our correspondence, Elijah even downloaded the cutout template of the new sink to give us an estimate how much would be cut and what his rate would be for making the cut. On the day of the job, he came in prepared and he was very respectful of our time and space. We provided our new sink and faucet to install, and he recommended that we should upgrade our garbage disposal too since it was pretty old. He made this whole process really easy and we are enjoying our new sink, faucet, and garbage disposal. He is a jack of all trades, and we look forward to contacting him again for future jobs. I do still think the process can be challenging -- especially for people who don't have support like my dad has from me. For seniors or anyone who isn't very tech-savvy, logging into accounts, gathering documents, and printing everything out can feel overwhelming. It can also be discouraging and overwhelming to receive a denial after putting in so much effort to complete the application. While the foundation mentioned they've been successfully operating through mailed and paper applications, some of the experiences shared in reviews suggest the process may not always feel smooth or clear. I think there's definitely room to make it more accessible and easier to navigate. That said, I'm grateful for the direct help we received and hope the process continues to improve for others.
