He's still waiting for his FFL to be approved before he can purchase stock and open for business. No idea how long that will take other than the fact that in recent weeks the backlog of background checks has been completely insane. The shop can be a little difficult to find. It's in the boonies a few miles from Forest Grove. It's been there since the 1950's so all the locals and serious enthusiasts know where it is.
