A little over a year ago I purchased a Cuban Link necklace for myself from this store located in the Santa Anita mall. A few months later one of the links were stuck and broke. I brought it back to the store to get repaired and cleaned. All I was required to do was bring it in and I was told someone would call me when it was ready and they did, no problem and no issue. A year later my son broke my necklace again and again I brought to your store to have it repaired. I told them when I dropped it off I wanted it fixed and did not care how much it cost, the money is not an issue. I was told it would take about a month for it to go to corporate headquarters. Ridiculous it takes so long but whatever. I was given a receipt to follow up on 11/23/24, which I did. The guy who answered the phone said it would be $150. I again said just fix the necklace I do not care how much it is to repair money is not an issue. I was then told by this guy that it would be ready next Wednesday on 11/27/24. On 11/27/24 I called to see if my necklace was ready and the girl on the phone said yes the necklace is ready for pick up. I get in my car with my daughter and drive to your store to pick up my merchandise and the girl says I do not see it n the box. They then come and tell me its not ready and that I needed to email someone, the first I heard about this. Especially considering that the last time you made my repair this was not mentioned or even necessary nor done. I then had to ask the guy at the counter because the incompetence was starting to bother me "HOW MANY TIMES DO YOU ALL NEED TO BE TOLD THAT I WANT MY NECKLACE REPAIRED?" This is now the THIRD TIME that I have requested to have my necklace repaired from you people!!!! I then asked them why I was told that my necklace was ready for pick up less than 30 minutes prior to my arrival. Every employee there acted like they did not know what I was talking about with this stupid look on their face. I had to pull my phone out and show them where I called. They then asked me if it was a woman or a man who I talked too and I said a woman. Then they look at this young lady who works there who told me she could not find my necklace. My question is why did she not look to see if my necklace had been repaired and available prior to just saying yes its ready knowing damn well she did not do her due diligence and check before wasting my time and having me drive there for nothing. As a result you all have lost a good paying customer who has supported and shopped at a couple of your stores and spent good money. I have bought rings for my wife there and my wedding band. I was looking to get my kids necklaces there for Christmas but after this experience, the run around and waste of time I will pass. Thank you to the team at this location for helping me with a bracelet that I had purchased as a gift for my boyfriend. When I purchased it (from this location) they said I was able to adjust the size. I went to another location in San Diego to resize ( because I just so happened to be there at the time) and they looked at me like I was crazy and said I wasn't able to resize this at all and they couldn't do it. Obviously I was shocked since I was told originally I could have it fixed. I called this location and they said I could bring it in and they'd handle it. I brought it in and, after a few minutes they agreed to fix it and by the next day I had a resized bracelet! It's perfect now and I'm very happy that the issue was resolved. My god these people are the worst. We bought a ring from them against my instincts. They bragged about the diamonds. The first week a diamond fell out the second week another fell out. We went back and asked for a refund. They said no 7 days only. They then said we should have purchased the warranty. As if it's our fault. Through a battle they fixed it. It took forever we ask why? They said the diamonds are so small they need special equipment to handle them. Yes... that warmed my heart. Coming back to pick it up they treated us like terrorists. Really Never! Ever! I have been shopping here for years, it's been the only place I buy my jewelery and any jewelry for my family from. My husband even bought my engagement ring here. However a lot has changed, none of the same people work here, the employees are all new and don't know a thing about customer service. I came in to purchase a new wedding band about 2 months ago, it had to be special ordered because of the small size. me and pressuring me to accept the ring and give a signature, to the point that it was rude and I was uncomfortable. The ring size was not correct and I had to get the manager to stop the inappropriate behavior of the woman. I was ready to walk out and request a refund. When I went to pick up the ring it was way too big and did not reflect the size on any of the sizing tools they have in store. The woman who brought out my ring kept rushing. Yet I was told I would have to pay an additional $80 to get the ring resized properly. I don't understand why I am paying for a correction that was the stores fault in the first place. At a jewelry store, of all places I would expect quality to be considered and a standard, the ring I was given did not match the product/size I was originally sold. The ONLY reason I paid the additional amount was because of how much I loved the ring and how it matched with my engagement band, I wanted so badly to leave and have the purchase refunded entirely. My partner and I placed an order on Sept. 1st, the order was for 2 rings (which needed to get resized) when we first met w the manager & salesman, they set our expectations for 3 weeks MAX wait time, it's been well over a month and we are still waiting for our rings. This would be less upsetting if the woman who answers/works the day shift wasn't extremely rude. Her customer service skills DO NOT EXIST, she laughs and scoffs at the customers and inserts herself into conversations. On-site manager was trash. Today was browsing to find the right fit for me and my husband and needed help deciding on a shape. The dude was rude and angry for no reason and walked off and ignored us because he felt we weren't interested in buying. We were calm respectful and excited, but somehow he perceived our answers as hostile or uninterested and gave up on us and made little suggestions to make the sale. We were waiting for him to come back and he started going off on us and he really didn't need to. If we found a shape we liked we would've come back on the weekend honestly, but he ruined our experience because he wanted to pick an unnecessary fight. We didn't engage him and I asked for Sandy, but it was so upsetting I cried in the store. How this guys is a manager I have no idea and honestly it's an embarrassment to the brand. I asked for Sandy to replace this guy and I couldn't hold back my tears and she offered us a 75% off on a purchase. We didn't end up buying because of how upsetting our experience was, but we appreciate her. Worst experience ever. Was gifted a gold bracelet for Xmas went into exchange it. That in its self was a horrible experience. They wouldn't tell me how much credit I had it all felt so slimy. So I finally called the friend that gave it to me and had to ask how much he paid for it. I exchanged it for a bracelet I never even tried on. They polished it and put it in a box . A few weeks later I went to wear it for the first time and the clasp was not working. Finally I had time to go back in and I was 5 days past the 30 day warranty period. They wanted to charge me $80.00 to repair it. They had the exact bracelet in the case and could have easily swapped it out. They refused to call a manager. It was really frustrating. BUYER BEWARE!!!! I went there to look at some jewelry and after looking around I picked something out but wanted to go home and think about it. The manager pressured me into leaving $500. deposit which he said it was 100% refundable, he told me if I did not want to go ahead with the purchase I could come back and they would give me a refund, btw this was not custom jewelry nor did I have any alterations done to any piece. I called and told them I was not going forward with the purchase and to pls issue a refund, they said no, that all deposits are nonrefundable, I said but I was told it would be refundable and they said no. My only advice would be not to let yourself be pressured into leaving a deposit, just say NO! and go home with your money because these sales people and managers at this location have no word and no shame.
