I got engaged recently and unfortunately my ring was too big!! We started looking for a jeweler who could do the adjustment for us at a reasonable price. We knew it would be a difficult ask. But Charlie did fantastic work! Rounding out the band and making sure all my diamonds were aligned. The care and precision he shows each piece really reflect his knowledge and expertise. That was the first thing that caught our attention! My ring finally fits and it came beautiful! Not to mention Annie was so sweet! Her customer service was lovely. It was a pleasure meeting and working with them. The turn around time was pretty quick too! Especially cause Charlie does it himself and doesn't send it out. :) so thank you again Charlie and Annie! read more

I haven't purchased anything here but had a great consultation experience. You should make an appointment so you have the designers attention but we went on a whim and they let us look at a few of their items. Annie was so sweet and funny. She was not pushing us to buy anything but really selling Charlie the designer. He seemed very knowledgeable and honest. Will certainly consider this place when I'm ready to buy - esp if I want to custom design something. read more

Went on his day off to his shop during New Year's Eve to help me with a ring resize. Couldn't find any one else open that day but he was willing to go out of his way to help me out without charging extra. Excellent work too with a pretty significant resize that isn't too noticeable unless you really look for it. read more

These guys are amazing! I'm trying to sell some jewelry and they couldn't help me with that - but they were so kind in letting me know what it is worth! Highly recommend. read more

Been meaning to resize my engagement/wedding rings for the past several months. Read wonderful reviews on Yelp and decided to give this place a try. I spoke to both Charlie and Annie. I am so excited and at the same time very fortunate to have come across CA Jewelry for the first time and meeting Charlie & Annie as I am exploring a ring for my wife on our special wedding day. Both Charlie & Annie made my purchase experience exhilarating, comforting, and instilling confidence of the qualities of the custom diamond ring I purchased. I got the best price! I have the best service and on top of that they really listened to what I was looking for in the design of the ring I wanted. Thank you Charlie & Annie - you're the best and look forward to coming back and referring our friends and family! God bless! read more

I brought an older piece of jewelry and gave Charlie some feedback about what I had in mind and he gave me constructive feedback with both considerations of style as well as function. He was very thoughtful, even adding in some extra details in the design that didn't even cross my mind. His service was reasonable and provided a lot of value! read more

I highly recommend Charlie and CA Jewelry. I recently moved back from the East Coast and have been looking for a local jeweler to help to help design and create custom settings for some of my gemstones. Charlie was able to fix mistakes another jeweler had made on a necklace for me. He was super considerate in listening to my needs, very honest (he even complimented the other jewelers' work after evaluating my necklace), and extremely thorough. After examining my necklace, he gave me a variety of options to fix it, at a variety of price points (depending on the level of work). He actually recommended a less expensive solve to me based on my needs, which I appreciated. He is trained as a mechanical engineer, which definitely showed in his ability to explain to me how the prongs on my setting needed to be aligned to the stone for optimal security and visual appeal. Charlie fixed my necklace very quickly and on site, and even provided a complimentary steam cleaning. The attention to detail, friendliness, and consideration Charlie provided means I will definitely be coming directly to him next time I am in the market for jewelry or a custom setting! read more

I've been working with Charlie for about 15 years. I usually come up with a concept for a piece of jewelry and he works out the kinks and makes it happen! He is really precise and detailed with his work. He designed my engagement ring, wedding band and a few other pieces. I LOVE everything that he does! Charlie is a very talented jewelry designer and I highly recommend him. His prices are pretty competitive and the quality is always superb. Although he design a lot of the custom pieces, he also carries jewelry that are from his brokers so not everything is custom made. read more

Annie and Charlie are amazing and kind folks. I came in to have my brand new wedding band resized. It also felt heavy and too thick so I asked Charlie how he can help. He took the time to draw it and explain how exactly he'll go about it. He also advised me on the perfect size which the other place failed to do obviously. He then told me he'll need 2 days to complete the work, but a few hours later it was ready! I wasn't sure about it at first feeling he removed too much of the thickness, but after wearing it for a few weeks now, I love it. I also like the fact that he did it himself, whereas the place I purchased the band from would have sent it to some other place. All in all great advice, great work, great service. It's my go place for jewelry from now on. read more

I go to California almost every weekend, this jewelry store is the most place I want to stop for purchasing personalized jewelry, gifts for my family, friends.... It's hard to make decision what to buy, because there are too many designs and all of them are beautiful that I could not find them in orther store. Charlie & Annie are sweet and honest persons, they always give me discount and unbeatable price. I can tell they want to win customers to come back and do business again rather than make a single sell like many stores out there. If I want some thing valuable to wear or even stocking gold, pearl, diamonds... this is the truthworthy store I think about it. read more

Charlie and Annie from CA Jewelry are the greatest! Located on the south west corner of San Gabriel and Valley, they are a husband and wife team who has been there for 12 years now. I first started doing some research online and by asking some friends who have purchased engagement rings, then went to Robbin's Brothers to see what they were about, and even got a couple of referrals to some wholesalers in the Jewelry district in Downtown LA, and then finally got the recommendation to stop by and see Charlie. It was the best decision I made and am so happy I got that recommendation. Charlie was very patient, professional, honest, and extremely informative. I felt comfortable the whole way and felt very confident in the diamond that he found me. Not only did he find the best diamond my budget was able to buy, but he also custom made a setting for me based on a couple of designs I showed him. He took the time to tweak the setting to make sure we were absolutely satisfied and in love with it. I never felt pressured at any time and it never felt like talking to a salesperson when talking to Charlie or Annie, and loved the experience I had. I already referred one friend over to them and will definitely be letting as many friends know about them so they can have the same outstanding experience I had. Once we're ready for our wedding bands, CA Jewelry will be the shop we go to for them without any hesitation. Shop and buy with confidence! read more

I am really grateful to have found them. Charlie and his wife Annie have been so helpful in selecting and customizing my engagement ring and our wedding bands. They took extra time and patience to explain how the bands will look like, readjust them to our likings, updating us on the progress. They are truly passionate about their work! What I love the most is that they are honest about prices, and the rings here are much more affordable than other places we looked (which is a big factor why we came here in the first place). I feel at ease asking questions and they work with my budget, didn't feel pressured at all. And look like how beautiful it turned out :) read more

My husband bought me a Christmas gift from this store. The lady owner told my husband if I didn't like it I can always come back for an exchange. I was worried because asian place they won't let you do that, however this place does. The lady owner is very nice and sweet. She helped to pick and chose the designs. But at the end I didn't exchange I kept the same gift that my lovely husband got for me. Thank you for being such an sweet lady. read more

Charlie and Annie are the BEST! This is my first review for them, but my second piece of jewelry that Charlie custom made for me. My first request was to reset my wedding ring, and the second was to re-design my wedding band. Both rings turned out exactly how I wanted them to look like! I showed him some pictures, and Charlie did the rest. He is a true artist, and his craftsmanship is incredible. I will definitely go back here for future jewelry! read more

I was in search of a blue sapphire ring for my wife when my friend Kevin recommended Charlie to me. Kevin called Charlie for me asking if he had any blue sapphires on hand in which Charlie said he did. I was sitting inside my friends car when he made that call and when he asked Charlie how much per carat for the sapphire, Charlie had told him between $800-$1000.00. I was ok with that price and had not bother shopped around since Charlie was referred by a very good friend of mine. When I came in to see the sapphire he didn't have much on hand. It was basically another ring that was probably bought back or trade in from another customer. At this point I'm still trying to work things out with him and when I asked him the price per carat, his replied was $2,500.00 per carat! My mind started to reel and I was thinking WTF?? I was in the car that day when my friend called and I know what I heard. So after that I just went on my way and told my friend what had happen. I was real disappointed, because he was recommended by a good friend of mines. read more

WOW! Annie & Charlie! I can't thank them anymore! I had went to another jeweler and they were gonna damage my Jade! Can't let that happen. So I saw this location and I can't complain. Annie was very sincere and caring, she even discounted my total cost! Note: it was my first time ever coming to this jeweler. Honestly I would recommend my friends and family if they were ever in need of jewelry or fixing of jewelry. Great customer service and outstanding job on my Jade. Looks brand new as if I had just got it from their store! Thank you again Annie and Charlie! read more

Charlie and Annie are as courteous and knowledgeable about jewelry as anyone else I can find in the area. Not only does Charlie understand what I want in jewelry, he also seeks to make the best deal he can get for me - not just for his business. Looking for custom pieces, jewelry that retains its value but at good prices, this is the place. I had Charlie create an engagement ring for my wife and it looks amazing! You won't find junk jewelry here. He hand picks the stones he sells and trust his judgement because he's been doing this for years. I always come back when I need jewelry and repairs. Best that you call to make an appointment so he can be ready for you. Thanks again Charlie and Annie! read more

Horrible, just left that place 5 min ago after being turned away. Apparently it's by appointment only and didn't buzz me in. I asked for a gold rope chain and the lady said no so I left. Couldn't even see what else they had. Wasn't sure if it was because I am Mexican. read more

To celebrate our 15 years of marriage, my husband and I decided to get a ring set made that I could design. After spending weeks on costco, blue nile, and other websites, a friend recommended Charlie and Annie and we went to meet them. Charlie took the time to educate us on diamonds, settings, what GIA means, how to choose and stick to a budget, and so much more! I left knowing almost exactly what I wanted. As soon as I sent him my designs, he had a mold made in no time and once we approved, a few weeks later I was wearing a gorgeous ring of my dreams! We are a busy working couple with kids and the hospitality and care that Charlie and Annie showed made an otherwise daunting task so memorable and pleasant. I will only go back to them in the future because I know I will get the best - with pistachios to munch on and plenty of laughter as a bonus!!!! :) read more
