Absolutely Loved this place! We went as 4 families and rented the Majestree, Pleasantree and…read moreTreeroom Suites. We used the Treeroom as the base for cooking n gathering as a large group. Obviously when you see the Majestree, everything else pales in comparison, which is their best property onsite, and the Pleasantree looked a bit small n not so spacious but it is what it is. Majestree is so spacious n luxurious. The view here is so gorgeous especially in spring. The staff are so amazing including ziplining staff - ziplining is expensive here compared to other places but the experience was simply amazing with their Big Dipper. One of their key highlights is their amazing spread of breakfast - the best I've ever had at a bed n breakfast. One of their chefs is a young girl Eden who is so skilled and talented and even willingly shared her recipe for lavender cake when I told her how awesome it was. All the staff are really friendly. In fact they kindly agreed to refund 80% of our ziplining fee when one of their coins kids were scared after the practice ziplining abd refused to continue. No one would do that. Some of us did horse riding, and they loved it as well. Would love to return sometime! My husband n I came back here after 13 years and none of our friends were disappointed.

Such a cool experience that i am looking forward to coming back with the kids and grandkids to par take in the horseback riding and ziplining that they offer. A little tip for you- when you walk in to check in and if no one is at the desk call the phone number for the place. They are onsite and answer the phone right away.

Over 40 years ago, we actually lived at this resort when it was called The Red Baron Resort. It was…read morewhere I proposed to my wife, so we rented the very same room. The Azalea room. They have really fixed the place up since we were there. They have added a wonderful porch that has a hot tub overlooking the river. (The river has even moved since then and is now right below the deck.) It's a great place to watch the seals, blue herons, egrets, osprey, and the sunrise over the distant hills. There is a wooden fence between each patio, so you have some privacy. Inside has been carefully remodeled to keep a cabin feel, but also give a touch of elegance. The woodwork and decor are both very nice and give the room a very cozy feeling, along with the nice gas fireplace in the livingroom area. The kitchen is simple, with a fridge and microwave, but no stove. There are a few plates, bowls, wine glasses, utensils, etc along with a small coffee pot, but the coffee given to use is just a tea bag coffee thing, so I'd recommend bringing your own. The bed was comfortable with end tables on each side. They don't have any usb plugins, but there are outlets close to the bed. There's also a dresser and small closet. The bathroom is also well appointed with a comfortable shower, small shelf for your shaving kit, a hair dryer, etc. Overall, we were very happy to see our old apartment turned into such a wonderful, relaxing resort. It brought back a lot of good memories, and we really enjoyed our stay. This is a real hidden treasure for the Gold Beach area.

You can tell it is well cared for. Clean and with good bedding and a well stocked kitchenette. It even has a hot tub for each room, which my partner and i spent a few hours sitting in and star gazing, followed by my best night's sleep in a long time. I would definitely stay here again!

He gave us a ton of helpful advice, including where to shop for groceries (across the street), where to eat (El Arriero), and what to see at Crater Lake. The beds are good. I slept through the night. And the place is quiet. Now for the bad. The light switch lacks a cover plate. Kids can easily stick their fingers into it and get seriously injured. There was no conditioner in the dispenser in the shower. The floor has a screw popping through it which is quite painful when walking on it with bare or shoeless feet. The floors were extremely dirty. Everyone's socks came out coal black when walking on it. And being from Kentucky, I mean coal black. I'm going to have to bleach the heck out of these socks or simply toss them. You have to Swiffer these floors. And, lastly, it has a lot of ants. Now, it's been raining a lot and I get ants at home too, but here's the thing: I dropped well over two "C" notes to stay here. That's more than I spent at the Best Western Plus in Salem, which was like the Taj Mahal in comparison. The value is simply not here. I'd seek other alternatives.
