So when the wife saw this somewhere i knew I had to take her. We hit the cyclone bomb storm and drove through some decent snow to get there. So happy to make it. The Family was so nice in treating us and making sure we were taken care of in case the power went out. Remember this is off the path people. Got to the Excalifir and OMG it was everything the pics show and more. FET like a little tiny house living, and we loved it. Beds were comfy, it was very warm inside, and it pushed us as a family to spend time together. No real signal and TV is only what DVDs they have. Mental note to bring DVDs next time to catch up on movie watching. The roof was a little noisy at night with the rain, snow, and trees but that's to be understood. When we got up we made sure to be on time for the breakfast presentation. OMG pancakes, eggs, bacon, fresh fruit, freshly made syrup! Hats off the the chef (and owners, and family). I have one apology and it's to the daughter who helped us, your name eludes me but you were great. I was super stressed about driving back in the snow and putting on chains. You assured me that would likely not happen. Guess what, you were right. Thanks for taking the time out to calm a city boy down. The pics are from the morning before we left. Definitely one of the most beautiful places I have ever spent the night. Need to find a reason to come back and visit again.

I've always wanted to sleep in a treehouse. My fiancé and I were going up to Ashland OR for the Shakespeare festival and thought we could explore Southern Oregon a bit. We stayed at this lovely treehouse resort in Cave Junction and it surely exceeded my Pinterestesque expectations. Pros - beautiful property with four treehouses (we stayed in the Cottage) - our treehouse was clean, furnished with a full sized bed, loft bed, small refrigerator, bathroom (no shower but there are community showers), a nice balcony with a view, and coffee maker. - breakfast!! The breakfast each morning was amazing. Phil's presentation and production was similar to that of at least a 4 star restaurant in San Francisco. Do not miss breakfast! - Jodie and Phil were very sweet and accommodating - we found a binder filled with things to do and found out about this Oregon Cave National Monument which was about a 40 minute drive from the treehouses. We loved the cave tour, cafe, and trails for hiking. Cons - we found the town of Cave Junction (population of 1800) to be less than desirable. Saw some fairly racist signs in people's front yards. There are only about 10 restaurants, mostly American diner-ish processed food options. The only other places in the town were small liquor stores, a few gas stations, and one grocery store. Interestingly enough.. You could buy a rifle and a small hand gun in the liquor store. We opted to go out of town for our second day to find food in Grants Pass. -we never got a key for our treehouse and left it unlocked when we left for exploring.. Nothing happened of course but it left me uneasy

This is the calypso treehouse, absolutely amazing, tranquil and peaceful!

We had the pleasure of staying in the Calypso treehouse, our experience was magical to say the least. Down to the smallest detail, we felt welcome, comfortable, and in our own secluded tranquil world. This bed and breakfast is THE perfect getaway, even if it's for one night, like our visit, you'll leave refreshed and renewed. The breakfast really is incredible---best we've ever had, and that is saying a lot! Organic this, farm fresh that---you'll feel like royalty and you'll conclude that it is well worth the money for your stay. My wife and I are already planning our next visit. PS--don't judge this BB by the pictures on their website, they don't capture the beauty near well enough!

We stayed in the Excalibur, fit our family of 5. Amazing details to treehouse, simply unbelievable! The hospitality was great! Gourmet breakfast was delicious! Highly recommend to everyone!

I loved this place!!! I didn't realize it would be as amazing as it was until I got there. The grounds were beautiful. The interior was pretty and organized with unique and antique decor. We stayed in the African suite. It was cozy and extremely comfortable. We didn't have time to use the jacuzzi tub, but it looked spectacular. The complimentary sherry in the decanter was extremely classy and the perfect nightcap to our evening. The long deck was amazing to see the fog roll in and the sun come up. The sounds of the fountain were very relaxing. David was so accommodating and friendly. It is obvious that they take pride in giving their guests outstanding experiences. David's breakfast was so delicious and gave us the fuel we needed for a day of hiking at Redwood. He also gave some recommendations based on his experiences in the area. My only regret is that we didn't arrive earlier so we could have spent more time there. We didn't arrive until late. I highly recommend this place. I was so impressed by the room, service, grounds, and breakfast. Thanks David!!

Obviously when you see the Majestree, everything else pales in comparison, which is their best property onsite, and the Pleasantree looked a bit small n not so spacious but it is what it is. Majestree is so spacious n luxurious. The view here is so gorgeous especially in spring. The staff are so amazing including ziplining staff - ziplining is expensive here compared to other places but the experience was simply amazing with their Big Dipper. One of their key highlights is their amazing spread of breakfast - the best I've ever had at a bed n breakfast. One of their chefs is a young girl Eden who is so skilled and talented and even willingly shared her recipe for lavender cake when I told her how awesome it was. All the staff are really friendly. In fact they kindly agreed to refund 80% of our ziplining fee when one of their coins kids were scared after the practice ziplining abd refused to continue. No one would do that. Some of us did horse riding, and they loved it as well. Would love to return sometime! My husband n I came back here after 13 years and none of our friends were disappointed.

Richard and Ana stay onsite. After being welcomed, shown our room and given a quick tour, we only saw them again at breakfast the next morning. THE BREAKFAST: Wow, just wow. I'm a foodie so when I go somewhere to eat it better be something I can't easily replicate at home. Ana really out does herself with a multiple course breakfast. Very filling, clean eating, freaking DELICIOUS! Everything from the delicate slightly-sweet breads to the hearty main course which always includes eggs in some form, to the fresh fruit to the handmade desserts accompanying every breakfast. The coffee is safe (not too strong, not too weak, not at all bitter). They also offer loose leaf tea if coffee is not your thing. VERY HAPPY with Breakfast prepared by Ana. Breakfast is worth the trip all by itself *YUM* Their attention to detail is exhausting. There are too many amenities to list and even little snacks on tables though out the house. We had access to a full sized fridge/freezer downstairs as well as use of a microwave and toaster oven if we needed it. I can't think of a single thing that we needed; Richard and Ana have thought of everything that you might need during your stay. Arky's uses Hotel quality sheets and towels (all 100% cotton). The bed in the garden view room was incredibly comfortable (king: bamboo pillowtop mattress) with an additional bamboo mattress topper. Plenty of pillow of various soft/firmness. I wouldn't change a thing. I slept like a rock. I'm not sure how many rooms they rent out each night, but there seemed to be different couples and even an entire family staying during our time there. Never once did we hear anyone else in the house unless we left our room. I would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND this place over staying at a local hotel; they are priced about the same.

The steps and railings could use a bit of updating for safety and the stairs leading towards the beach area were in much need of repair, to the point that it was not a good idea to venture too far down that path as the lower steps dropped down further than the rest.
