Obviously when you see the Majestree, everything else pales in comparison, which is their best property onsite, and the Pleasantree looked a bit small n not so spacious but it is what it is. Majestree is so spacious n luxurious. The view here is so gorgeous especially in spring. The staff are so amazing including ziplining staff - ziplining is expensive here compared to other places but the experience was simply amazing with their Big Dipper. One of their key highlights is their amazing spread of breakfast - the best I've ever had at a bed n breakfast. One of their chefs is a young girl Eden who is so skilled and talented and even willingly shared her recipe for lavender cake when I told her how awesome it was. All the staff are really friendly. In fact they kindly agreed to refund 80% of our ziplining fee when one of their coins kids were scared after the practice ziplining abd refused to continue. No one would do that. Some of us did horse riding, and they loved it as well. Would love to return sometime! My husband n I came back here after 13 years and none of our friends were disappointed.

This is a little different than a typical motel - you pay a cleaning fee as part of the room. The room we got had a huge jacuzzi tub (we didn't use). I did find it a little difficult to maneuver - my knee was bothering me so getting myself up and over the side of the tub to take a shower was challenging - there is also a pretty high step just to get up into the bathroom. There is a nice little kitchen area with a small fridge, sink and table - we were only there for one night so we didn't have a chance to use it. I did use one of our beach towels to cover the bottom of the shade where it didn't quite go all the way down to the windowsill. I think the couch was a fold out bed but we didn't check. We appreciated how quiet and low key this place was and the location was great for visiting Cave Junction. Will visit again next time.

Unfortunately, this one was closed, so we ended up staying in a horrific hotel. We enjoyed our room, it was a good sized room, floor a little squeeky but what do you expect from an old Hotel. Dinner was oustanding, the seafood pasta was flavorful and a very large portion. My wife's salad was excellent. Pricing was a little high but the wine pours very generous. It was nice and quiet as only 2 other tables were occupied. The gift shop employees are always helpful and are often locals of the town at the bottom of the mountain and will offer up other interesting spots in the area to go to as well as a restaurant to visit before you head out of town. The small diner has a delicious very fresh blueberry bagels and English muffins. Often times I have had them not taste so fresh when visiting a place that is not in town. The fine dinning experience in the evening is gorgeous! it over looks the trees. and being able to take a glass of wine with you up to the main lobby to sit by the massive stone double sided fireplace and take in the scenery is a very simple and relaxing experience. Because the road to the Caves and Chateau is so mountainous- it does not get plowed in the winter so aim for late spring- mid/late fall to visit. Always check their website. The staff will also entertain you with ghost stories of Elizabeth- nothing too gruesomely haunting.

MOLDY ! NON SAFE FOR FAMILIES, ELDERLY, DISABLED! DIRTY!…read more Do you love the "vibe" of a Motel 6... but wish you could pay a couple hundred more for it? Then The Logic Riverside might be exactly what you're looking for. Do you enjoy driving 15 hours straight to end up at a moldy smelling, blood stained sheets, motel 6 vibe hotel? The photos online promised fresh, modern, and welcoming. The reality? Dingy, musty, and crusty. The second we opened the door, we were hit with a mold smell so strong it could've had its own zip code. The carpet was dirty and lumpy, the ceiling sagged like it was giving up, and the patio hadn't been touched in ages--covered in spiderwebs and so slippery (not safe for disabled, elderly, pregnant women, kids, or anyone). Housekeeping? Could be better. Toilet paper roll half-used, dust everywhere, pubes in the tub (yes, really), mold around the shower and stained comforters that looked like a black-mold art project. Nothing says "welcome" like wondering if your sheets are contagious. And the surroundings... let's just say there's a full-on homeless camp right next door. The vibe outside makes you want to lock your car doors every ten seconds, and definitely doesn't scream "safe family getaway." We told the front desk, and while they were nice, offered for us to talk to management. The solutions were laughable: switch to another musty room or take a "discount next time." Next time?! As if anyone is lining up for round two. The only halfway-decent part of the place is the lobby, which lures you in before the bait-and-switch. For the price they charge, this is absolutely not worth it. If you're spending good money and actually care about clean, safe, decent accommodations--skip this place. Unless, of course, you're into mold, mystery stains, and locking your doors on repeat. *EDIT: Response to Evelyn To clarify, I did speak directly with the manager and the only solution offered was a "discount on a future visit." Given the condition of the room and the health/safety concerns I experienced, I did not feel that was an appropriate resolution. The photos I provided were taken in the room I was assigned, and accurately reflect the conditions.

Unlike some of the other reviews, and the pictures that show it, they have upgraded the rooms with flat screen TV and remodeled bathroom (even though there's no countertop, there is a set of shelves that work just as good). My room and bathroom were spotless from what I could see. A very nice place to stay for a few days, if necessary. The Wi-Fi, is free and works well. And, if I remember correctly, it is secured (sorry, but I went about 32 hours without sleep. So, I don't recall exactly, as I didn't use it long). The only problem that I was able to find, is that they don't start serving breakfast until 0800. So early eaters will probably have to go out for breakfast (see my review for the Powderhorn Cafe). And, with the wine classes at they have available, it might make a nice anniversary getaway, too. I'll post pictures later, as I have to transfer them from my laptop to this phone first.

It's a very quaint old school motel oozing character. Margaret, the current owner, told me that the motel was built in the 30s and then the other half was added in the 50s to create the motel's current horseshoe shape. The motel has been updated many times over the years and mixes vintage with modern very easily. There are only 15 rooms, but each one is unique, with some having full kitchens and bedrooms. There are painted murals of vines and such on the walls, and the rooms come with bathroom, shower, kitchen (with eating utensils and plates) fridge, microwave and even a dining table. The bed was comfortable if not a bit too squishy. It's all done in the style of the old motels where you parked in front of your room. Jackie, the check in lady, was helpful and kind and made checking in a breeze. It's located on one of the main streets in Grants Pass and is within walking distance of a bunch of helpful stores and restaurants. With all this charm and very affordable pricing, this is my new go-to motel in the Grants Pass area.

I'm a foodie so when I go somewhere to eat it better be something I can't easily replicate at home. Ana really out does herself with a multiple course breakfast. Very filling, clean eating, freaking DELICIOUS! Everything from the delicate slightly-sweet breads to the hearty main course which always includes eggs in some form, to the fresh fruit to the handmade desserts accompanying every breakfast. The coffee is safe (not too strong, not too weak, not at all bitter). They also offer loose leaf tea if coffee is not your thing. VERY HAPPY with Breakfast prepared by Ana. Breakfast is worth the trip all by itself *YUM* Their attention to detail is exhausting. There are too many amenities to list and even little snacks on tables though out the house. We had access to a full sized fridge/freezer downstairs as well as use of a microwave and toaster oven if we needed it. I can't think of a single thing that we needed; Richard and Ana have thought of everything that you might need during your stay. Arky's uses Hotel quality sheets and towels (all 100% cotton). The bed in the garden view room was incredibly comfortable (king: bamboo pillowtop mattress) with an additional bamboo mattress topper. Plenty of pillow of various soft/firmness. I wouldn't change a thing. I slept like a rock. I'm not sure how many rooms they rent out each night, but there seemed to be different couples and even an entire family staying during our time there. Never once did we hear anyone else in the house unless we left our room. I would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND this place over staying at a local hotel; they are priced about the same.
