Susie is a literal dream! I have been coming to her for years and referred friends and even my cousin (who described the experience so glowingly and likened Susie to "the ultimate shot of dopamine!") She is the most warm, kind person and the ultimate expert in all things keratin. Every pro in Hoboken knows her and the reviews speak for themselves. Will be a forever client and would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone. A+++ artist and human! read more

Very good keratin treatment and reasonably priced. I will definitely go back for another treatment

Over a month later and I couldn't be more grateful to have found Suzie - I've passed this place a dozen times and finally decided to reach out prior to leaving on a month long trip to Asia. (Recommend you read her instructions on her website and text her!) She was quick to respond and her keratin technique is top notch! I've had keratin before in NJ, FL and NY and I would consider this one of the best I've had AND my scalp didn't peel OR have to suffer with terrible chemical smell either? Idk how she does it! I would absolutely recommend - we had great conversation and the space is very relaxing and open. She only takes 1 client at a time - loved it! Thanks Suzie!! read more

Keratin Cafe - Week 3 in Asia on a rainy day.. hair still looked great! - Hair Salons Near Me - Hoboken, New Jersey

I went to Suzie for keratin treatment and I could not be happier with the results! She actually talked me out of the more expensive Japanese straightening (which I have done in the past) and I'm so happy that I listened to her! My hair looks and feels great, and there's more flexibility with styling than there is with Japanese straightening. Suzie knows what she's doing and I would listen to any suggestions she has... She's also very funny and warm, it feels like getting your hair done by a long-time friend. read more

Suzie is amazing!! I love my hair every time, the keratin process she does is quick but lasts long and is such good quality!

Susie is warm, energetic and a true professional. I get keratin and come out looking and feeling great. Her prices are reasonable for the high quality of her work. And there is no sales pitch for products like shampoo, etc. I strongly recommend Susie and I think you won't be disappointed. read more

Suzie is the best! She is unbelievably sweet and charismatic. I came from NYC into Hoboken because it's the best price I've seen around, but will be coming back again and again because Suzie does an awesome job and overall it was a very pleasant experience. I've had keratin done at least 4-5 times before from various places in NYC and this has definitely been the best. Look no further! read more

I saw a bunch of reviews saying people came from NYC to get keratin treatment here so I thought ok, why not try it? I am soo glad that I did. Suzie is AMAZING- she runs everything herself and genuinely has a kind soul. I felt completely comfortable with her and her attention to detail. I waited til washing my hair before writing this review, and I will definitely be back for more treatments in the future. This is going to save me a ton of time on styling my hair. For reference I have long, wavy hair- not thick but just kind of frizzy and unkept if not straightened or styled. Now, I literally am just going to blow dry it and go about my day. It is a miracle & I am hoooked on keratin now. NYC ladies- it is easy to get to, just take the bus from port authority & walk a few minutes. Suzie is your girl. Prices are also cheaper than in the city. read more

Suzie is one of the most talented, knowledgeable, beautiful and talented stylists and persons you will ever meet!! She knows her art and craft better than anyone and I feel so grateful my sister in law introduced me to her!! I would not trust anyone else with my hair. Suzie does an amazing job. I've gotten my keratin treatments with her a few times now and I'll never go anywhere else now. If I could, I'd give it 10 stars, such is my appreciation for Suzie from Keratin Cafe. Her work is immaculate as she is kind and funny. I started going to her when I first moved to Hoboken almost 7 years ago. And even when I moved to the city for 2 years, I'd traipse back in to get my hair done by her. I don't trust anyone else with my hair, which is fine, curly and frizzy. I have cut my hair there with her, done color and countless keratin treatments over the years. I highly recommended Cezzane, a type of Keratin treatment that helps improve the health of your hair. Thank you Suzie for your professionalism, patience, kindness and generous nature. read more

Suzie is the queen! Please, do yourself a favor and get a keratin treatment by Suzie. Been going to Suzie for 10 years and I don't trust anybody else with me hair! She is the best!

Keratin Cafe opened in spring 2017 and is run by an awesome stylist named Suzie. I first met Suzie when she worked at Bloom Spa on Washington Street and I followed her to her new salon as soon as it opened. Suzie does such an excellent job (I've gotten numerous cuts and have also gotten blonde highlights) and she's also super warm, friendly, upbeat and just a wonderful person overall. She is so kind to her clients and her prices are extremely reasonable for an expensive town like Hoboken. Keratin Cafe is a clean, beautiful salon and I'm always so happy with how my hair looks when I walk out :) I highly recommend Keratin Cafe! read more

Had my first keratin treatment done by suzie. Let me start off by saying that Suzie is just the best. I traveled from Queens , NY to Hoboken to give it a try and I will back once my keratin treatment is done . I will say that the best time to go to the salon is usually weekends or past noon since the alternative parking is a bit tricky . But overall the location isn't hard to find . The salon is well kept and very clean / sheik. Suzie which is the salon owner is very welcoming and kind . Her work is also amazing . I have thick wavy/curly hair and she managed to make it sleek and straight , she took her time and during the process she made sure to have a fan on and kept asking if I was alright which was sweet. My boyfriend came along ass well which I was concerned he would be bored but she was kind enough to turn on Netflix so that he could stay occupied . For those who've never had the process done it takes about 3 hrs but it is so worth it. After 3 hours of blow drying and flat ironing my hair with the treatment on my hair came out perfect. No flyaways and best of all no more puffy curls !!! In the end I paid Suzie $180 which is a steal. read more
