I will start by saying that I miss people from the South. I expressed this to them in my first message, just trying to be nice. FYI, they are not into making conversation. It seems that they're not into making friends, which I find to be odd when you own a business. I am not crazy about yelp, as you can see...I have only written one other review which they took down because it was too positive for the instructor that I wrote it about. But now, I am so annoyed that I decided to come back to yelp. Ok. So I ordered this camera on Ebay. They shipped it fast, that was nice. It was not the right thing for my job, not their fault. I told them I needed to return it. They said ok. I told them it would be a few days as our store was leveled in the riots near Seattle. I did have 30 days, anyway. So, the one day that I had off from riot cleanup, I texted and asked how to go about returning it (Im old, not savvy @ these things) I didnt receive an answer though I waited over at least 2 hours...ALL the while updating them on what I was thinking and what I was doing. I sent them a msg and told them that I was on my way to mail it back to them, and that I would send them a pic of the receipt and tracking #. I did just that. So apparently since I did not print out a piece of paper with their name and address on it, they will not reimburse me for shipping. Even though I put the correct address on it, put insurance on it (even extra) and I also sent them a brand new charger PLUS a brand new extra battery that I had ordered for the camera from another seller..for free, as I would not need them...so I thought that would be a nice thing to do. Proprietary Batteries and chargers can be pricey..It was only like $15, but anyway...the shipping was $29. They refused to reimburse me, as they are not legally required to, but I did the logical thing, and went above and beyond. I asked them if they would just reimburse me partially as they shouldnt have to pay for what I sent them for free. They said NO. Apparently they are happy that I was not smart enough to print their address out thru ebay...the exact same address that I sent the camera back to. Exactly the same thing they would have had to pay for if only I had a printer that would have shot out that paper that I could have cut up and taped to the box, rather than the one that UPS typed out for me. the same one...same address...So, through correspondence they told me too bad, and "Thanks!" Not only were they incredibly unfriendly during the entire time I had to write back and forth with them, they were not in the least bit helpful. I seriously GAVE them a brand new battery and charger for free to be nice, never even an acknowledgment. My last message said that I would be waiting for my refund, and they replied saying "it will be there within 24 hr of receipt" So, I said "Wonderful ..then it should already be there." It was 3:30 pm their time. It was 5 hrs late then. I did not get it for 2 days. I didnt report it to ebay. I guess if YOU do something that they can get around, they will. If THEY do something that you could report them for, they will take their chances. There are plenty of other places to shop in the south. If I were you, I wouldnt go here. How hard would it have been to reimburse me for shipping? Theyre supposed to anyway. They got out of it because I shipped it without pushing some blue button on ebay that i was supposed to, even though I did everything needed to be done to get it to them. My shipping was probably better than what they were supposed to provide. Packed well, fully insured, everything there. FREE SHIPPING FREE RETURNS ARE PART OF THEIR AD. They slithered out of having to pay $29 shipping, so tacky. I expected more from a southern gun shop. The moral of the story is that if they CAN get over on you, they will. read more
