This place historical sold bait and convenience store goodies, but when I entered I knew things had changed for the better under new ownership. Behind the counter was a smiling face who turned out to be an energetic, attentive cashier. He immediately asked me if I was looking for bait, and communicated the price per dozen right off. Very impressive customer service! While he was in the back I just admired how clean, well stocked, organized, and well lit the store was. You could tell someone took pride in running this store now. I was so impressed at how friendly and good this place felt. The cashier informed me that they are open at 6a, then possibly 5:30a as the fishing season and sunrise progresses. I admire a store that considers what the customer's need, and makes adjustments to accommodate. They even have huge shad tank outside for bass fishing. I can't say enough good things about Joe's Mart from a fishing bait perspective. This place is my new GO TO for live fishing bait near Allatoona.

When it didn't come, I figured it was a simple mistake because "We promise it will be there by Thursday at 1PM, here's an email with tracking info to prove it!" sounds almost identical to "Yeah, we're really not trying to get this to your house by the time your party starts and we are terrible and we hate you." So I figured I might have just heard them wrong. But, nope, the tracking number backed what I thought I heard. So Saturday morning when it still had not arrived, my wife called them. Did they correct the problem? No. What we heard over the phone was an AS+O employee insinuating that it was somehow our fault it had not been delivered-OUR fault for believing the associate who had apparently just straight up lied to us about the delivery time-, no apology, and news that it would be delivered the following Tuesday (today) between 1-6PM, well after the party and birthday for which we had selected and purchased our gift. So, right now it is 6:30 on Tuesday- the very Tuesday during which it was supposed to have been delivered between 1-6PM. I hope AS+O Cartersville owns a DeLorean, because our item is still not here. UPDATE: The ping pong table arrived an hour after this post. The box was ripped wide open from one side to the other. Clearly the integrity of our package had been compromised. We sent it back. Called AS+O, they again tried to explain how their shipping works to me in a condescending manner instead of making things right. We will never (NEVER!) shop here again. Not even if there's a plague and the only cure is a combination of sporting goods and terrible service. Plague me.

After doing so a couple days later, I realized the gun had some cycling issues, so I brought it back to Luther, who said he'd send it to his gunsmith. I called/ stopped by trying to get an update on the progress of my gun at least twice a week for well over a month and a half. Always getting the same answer, "I'm waiting on Randy to call me back". So finally, I asked for Randy's info to see if I'd have better luck. When i contacted Randy, he knew nothing about my gun, but Said "Luther would give me Call". I waited for that call for the rest of the day. The very next day, I decided to stop by since I still hadn't recieved a call from Luther. At the store the next day, there was one customer being helped when I walked in. So I patiently waited for a good amount of time. While waiting, several other customers came in and were shown guns and given convo; meanwhile he's still too busy to talk to me. Only after interrupting him from doing the paperwork, (even though he didn't mind stopping that to show guns to the other customers) did he go to the back, bring my gun out, telling me that Randy had over looked it this entire time! And he just so happened to go by and pick it up yesterday, and instead of having Randy fix it. He just brought it back to the shop not repaired. Im nowhere near slow, he just never sent my gun off to be fixed, he just lied to me for 6/7 weeks about doing so.

I had just a little time before they closed and he was willing to pick what I needed and what size and have everything ready for me all I had to do is pay for it when I got to the cashiers desk. He was accommodating and had asked special permission to have the special merchandise ready for me I was surprised how everything ready so I didn't have to sort through dozens of shirts and not find what I was looking for.
