Owner's daughter's car is consistently parked in a fire zone during every morning public session. She apparently think she's above the law, makes up reasons to "ban" people from the facility, and does not honor the City of Kent's Senior Skate program at all - no sign in, no age check or showing of ID. This facility would benefit from ownership that is free from nepotism. The only reason I skate there is because of the free ice they are required to provide via their contract with the City of Kent, but they don't even honor that.

THey have alot to do here! putt putt golf, batting cages, ice skating, hockey, they are also connected to baseball fields and a kids park. they also offer rental equipment for everything. Service was friendly and if you okay golf you get a chance to win a free game by playing their plinko board.

We had a blast ice skating for the first time! The facility is very clean, the staff is super friendly and informative, and most of all it was a blast!

I've been to this rink twice- The first time, I came with some friends a few weeks ago and decided to rent some ice skates because I wasn't sure if I wanted to commit to buying a pair of my own yet. I'm an avid roller skater and have well over a thousand dollars worth of skating gear, and couldn't justify spending more on a whole other hobby. Let me tell you, the rental skates were so bad they actually cut my foot right open after only 10 minutes of skating because of the friction from the hard plastic. Apparently most rink rentals suck, so I just took my L and bought my own skates for next time. The second reason I gave this place 4 stars is because it's SO expensive. Maybe I'm spoiled because roller skating rinks are less than $10 for entry *per session*, but paying $20 for just one hour and 15 minutes is wild to me. I asked around and my figure skating friends tell me this is a bit steep for most ice skating rinks in general. As for the rink itself, the staff are kind and professional. It's the only rink in the area open for public skate during COVID and even though they don't require masks, everyone is socially distanced well and wears them anyway. There was also only two other people on the ice the first visit, and about 7/8 on the second visit. You get plenty of room to fall all over the place, which is nice! Overall, I would definitely come back again if it weren't so ridiculously expensive. I also realized that I'm not a fan of such a cold indoor space (I couldn't feel my hands after an hour, but it's literally a room full of ice so that can't be avoided.) If you decide to come, bring your own skates and budget for it if you're bringing kids...and also bring gloves!

On a whim, I bought a Groupon for this place on Black Friday and visited here because it was about to expire. When my boyfriend and I arrived, we were funneled into a line where the cashier deals with one party at a time before you can enter through the gate. It wasn't too long of a wait to speak with her, but I felt bad for the long line that starting forming behind us. She was very helpful. We just had to pay sales tax (never had a Groupon deal make me pay sales tax when I arrived, so that was a little weird). The staff member at the skate rental place was super friendly and nice. Quite frankly, these were some of the worst skates I've ever put my feet in. I used to skate competitively as a kid, so I had my own skates and unfortunately outgrew then. The skates felt like stiff plastic containers for your feet. It was so painful to skate around, so I went back to the skate rental counter and asked for another pair. The guy said he only had that one type of skate but could help me find another pair or a slightly bigger size. Neither one did the trick, so since it was so painful on my feet, I just put my shoes back on and let my boyfriend skate around on his own. Even those temporary skate rinks that go up in parks have more comfortable skates! Anyway, the facility seemed really nice. There's ample viewing areas and an upstairs cafe. It was off putting that the only restroom was upstairs at the back of the cafe. I would think there should be one more accessible near the ice rink. The cafe upstairs was absolutely horrible. I very rarely give low ratings to places because I like giving people the benefit of the doubt and have worked at a restaurant before, but this place was ridiculous. The cashier was extremely rude and very slow to take orders. There was only one person in front of us, and she had to call someone else over to help her figure out how much change to give back to the customer. It took forever! Then, she wasn't very nice to my boyfriend or me. We wanted just mozzarella sticks without a pound of fries, but they can't sell it by itself... So we just ordered tacos instead. The tacos took about 20 minutes to get to us, and they were horribly over fried. I would be better off going to Taco Bell (and I really dislike Taco Bell). It was $10 for 3 tacos and a soda, and it was definitely not worth it. All of the food on the menu was pretty over priced, but that's what you get at these types of places. Just really horrible service. I tried connecting to the wifi using the posted password in the cafe, and it never worked. There was barely any cellphone reception inside. Overall, pretty negative experience. I'll be skating at the Renton ice rink from now on.

They made everything smooth and stress-free for us parents -- which is such a gift on a birthday party day! The kids were beyond excited about the glow-in-the-dark monsters, neon lights, and the fun spooky-but-not-scary vibe. Watching their faces light up as they played mini golf under the glowing colors was priceless. They didn't want to leave! It was the perfect mix of fun, energy, and organization. If you're planning a birthday party for your little one, I truly recommend this place. Thank you for helping us create such special memories for our son's big day!

Located inside Factoria Mall, the venue is large, with an arcade and prize game area in front of the mini golf course. My friends eagerly played some games to win novelty toys and tried the cotton candy maker. I played some pinball so if any of this sounds fun in addition to golfing, they have it here. The course as expected has about 16 holes, all with varying lengths, obstacles and angles. It's a lot of fun lining up different putts. The decor has a sort of comedic-horror art with a Washington theme and other mechanical props to add to the fun and ambience. The snag? The same issue I have at most mini golf places, people start to get bunched up behind you because their playing too fast/making their own rules or whatever. Were we playing too slow? Maybe. There were four of us and we played as quickly as we could but alas... Even the staff girl told us we're capped at 5 swings a piece at one point before we need to move on. Needless to say, by the end we had several impatient people waiting behind us. I know this isn't Monsters fault per se, but I repeatedly saw kids just putting the ball near the hole for easy shots to go faster or smaller children crying and jumping random holes out of order. Would love to do it again but perhaps on a weekday or a morning when there is less crowds.

We were all golfing pretty good were ahead of pace of play by an hour by the end of first 9. Got to the turn got a hot dog and beer was 15 bucks before tip ended up giving the girl a 3 dollar tip, so 18 for 1 hot dog and 1 beer. Got back on the course then on about the 12th we started getting jammed up bad behind two other groups. Ended up 35 min behind pace of play and took almost an hour to finish the last three holes. Definitely hard to keep a rhythm for play for the more experienced golfers in my group and they were frustrated. Never saw a Marshall to tell anyone to pick it up. Not a bad course but honestly probably won't go back didn't feel like I got my moneys worth for what I payed.

There are heaters for the cold and lights for the dark. They have good range balls that get culled when worn. There is a separate area to have lessons with video feedback of your swing numbers. I was completely blown away…read more From the moment we walked in, the level of professionalism and cleanliness stood out, especially for a kids' arcade and activity center. Everything felt well run and thoughtfully managed. One thing that really impressed me as a parent was the staff member monitoring the entrance and exit. He was incredibly attentive. He recognized us, noticed our child, and was clearly keeping track of who was coming and going. Of course, you should always watch your own kids, but having someone that alert adds a huge layer of peace of mind. We used a Groupon, and if you have ever used one, you know it can sometimes be a hassle, but not here. The process was seamless. A staff member radioed ahead for us, and by the time we got to the snack counter, they already knew what to do. No waiting, no confusion. We were set up immediately and on our way. That level of coordination was impressive. Every game we tried was working perfectly, including VR games, which is rare in most arcades. Even smaller details, like all the basketballs being available at the Papa Shot machines, did not go unnoticed. The kids' drop ride was a huge hit with my daughter, and the claw machines, which guarantee a prize, were a fun bonus, especially as a way to end the visit on a high note. The prize center was also well balanced, with reasonable ticket costs and fun options. They had some great games too, like rhythm games and classics, that made it enjoyable for both kids and adults. The real surprise was the food. We ordered pizza expecting typical arcade food, but it exceeded expectations by a mile. It was soft, fresh, and genuinely delicious, easily better than what you would find at places like Chuck E. Cheese. The entire dining area was spotless, which is almost unheard of in venues like this. Tables were clean. Floors were clean. Everything felt cared for. The service continued to impress throughout. Our food came out quickly, and when we finished, the staff handled all the cleanup. We actually went out of our way to find cash just to leave a tip because the service deserved it. We originally came for the full experience, including batting cages, laser tag, go karts, and mini golf, but honestly, even before doing any of that, I can confidently say this place is incredibly well run. Based on everything we experienced, I have no doubt the rest will be just as great. If you are a parent looking for a fun, safe, and well managed place for your kids that you will actually enjoy too, this is it.

Be careful going to Family Fun Center. I used to really like this place, and hosted several…read morebirthday parties here. Over the years the technology they use doesn't seem to be keeping up, where things will glitch causing lots of time and effort to get the tickets earned reflected on your card. Luckily we took a picture of the ticket rings that were won at the claw machine prior to adding them onto the card, but even after that, it was still a big hassle where management seemed suspicious that we were trying to dupe them out of tickets that were earned properly. What was surprising is that they didn't even bring the staff member over that scanned the ticket rings initially to confirm she had added the tickets. After adjusting the tickets, my card account was still active on the board, so I went back and checked to make sure it was closed out properly to avoid any further ticket issues. I asked the original staff member if she remembers adding my tickets, and she said she did but we should be good now as this was a system glitch. I accepted the explanation and took that as issue closure. Later when we went to pick prizes, another "lead" employee approached me (wish I would've taken her name), and immediately accused me of being rude and aggressive towards the staff member that added my original tickets. As a lead, I would have expected her to ask me if there was any issues with the employee, instead of outright accusing the customer. I asked her to clarify what was taken as rude or threatening, as I never raised my voice or said anything out of line even though this issue took some time to resolve. She wouldn't give me any specifics but just warned me to not be rude. Instead of getting into any further back and forth with her, I decided to just pick a few prizes and leave. I found it very unprofessional for the lead to approach me in that manner, while the Manager Tabitha didn't step in, even being close by. If something was said that was perceived as rude, let's bring everyone together and hash it out. I can guarantee *God as my witness* that I never said anything offensive, threatening, or rude to any of the staff members. All I did was provide details and proof that there was a system glitch and the tickets that had previously been added were not on the card. At no point did I ever blame or fault anyone at FFC for this issue. Rich Yee, if you'd like to discuss this matter with me directly please reach out.
