I later discovered that they couldn't complete the job due to a lack of manpower. They didn't even offer a loaner vehicle during this time. My stance is that they should have informed their customer so I can make a decision to stay or go elsewhere. To make matters worse, the representative dared to say that when I brought the car back, they would give me a $50 credit. Really? If they were sincere about their excuses and the long duration they kept my car, that credit should have been applied when I picked it up after three weeks. Eventually, someone was honest enough to tell me the truth. I finally picked up my Maserati and parked it in my garage until returning from a trip, only to discover that my left center wheel cap was missing. When I called them, the representative said it probably fell off and that he had video evidence showing the cap was there when I brought it into their shop. However, that wasn't the issue; yes, it might have been there initially, but what happened to it afterward? Overall, their customer service was poor, and I will never return. The leak at the time I brought it to them it was a slow leak where I could drive about 150 miles before I had to refill the power steering reservoir. They called later the same day and told me that the pinion section of the rack had a hairline crack that was causing the leak. I had told the lady at the counter when I checked in that if the repair cost was over $250 that they were to call me before work. I was told that it would cost $1300 to install a new one and I told them that was more than expected. I asked them to put it back together and I'd be there to pay the $70 and drive it home. This shop was mad because I didn't want to pay them $1300 where I can buy a new rack and pinion unit for $170 and install it myself !! Don't do any business with these people, their crooks!!!
