The owner exclaimed that it's basically his prerogative to arbitrarily OVERCHARGE for labor and I was obligated to pay, because I agreed to them doing the work. Quote: "I DON'T CARE IF IT TOOK 5 - 10 MINS IT'S WHAT I CHARGED...AND IT'S WHATS YOU'RE GONNA PAY!" I was charged an extra $195.00 for 3 hours of labor on a 30 minute job! They DID NOT do what they CLAIMED was required. I HAVE PICTURES TO PROVE MY CLAIM. Definitive proof!!! THEY LIED TO MY FACE! The owner cursed...referring to me as an EPITHET while I was trying to get him to listen to my concerns!! He threatened to charge me for daily storage of my vehicle if I did not pay the exorbitant bill!!! I was INTIMIDATED and COERCED into paying TWICE the amount of what I was quoted while they held my vehicle hostage! I wonder how many other people are being unknowingly charged for work that's NOT ACTUALLY BEING DONE! I was reassured by a number of professions that the job was VERY simple and would only take minutes - NOT 3 HOURS!!! I also watched SEVERAL videos demonstrating the process which INFURIATED me after seeing how simple the process was! I was led to believe that their technicians had to endure 3 hours of tedious work to complete the job! When I brought this discrepancy to their attention, their kindness and courtesy turned fury and distain! I WILL NEVER FORGET THIS HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I was treated horribly!
